It's so fun to watch your dogs run free through your farm. Unfortunately, we had to put our Weimaraner down yesterday afternoon. Duke loved to run free around our farm too. He now is resting and running free at The Farm forever. It was his favorite place to be. I miss him so much. He was my best friend. You have a great Channel.
You guys are awesome. You, Melissa, Hunter and all the other kids. Great family, great values, awesome good hearted people and hard workers all around. Thank you for sharing !!
Ahhh, so sweet to see a video with Stanley. It always hurts a little to see pictures or a video of our fur babies once they have left us, but it is bittersweet because it means so much to see them. And way to go Hunter! Keep your Dad straight and make sure he does what he's suppose to! You're a great helper! #HaveADay
Melissa Morgan Steph, I’m sure there are some other women like you but they are few and far between. You are a unique and special person. A woman who can and will do it all!!! I would have been less generous with the lives of those mousies! Old man Fred
I love the Hunter Story - "Hey Hunter, Buddy how are you today - you did a great job on the tractor !" Mike you dont have to feel bad my friend - but it shows, that the routine catch you sometimes on Hunter ;-) Nice workout Melissa - and very fast ;-) Thank you for sharing this - i love it Love and respect from germany
Mike and Melissa: it nice to see honest folk on the earth today. That is why I like your channel. what a guy Hunter in helping Dad to remember what was forgotten.
Dang I was pretty close at 27 mins! I guess it's time to pay up, I'll be sending #OutdoorswiththeMorgans a jar of liquid gold this week. Great job Hunter helping keep dad in check.
A cord of seasoned oak is about 2,500#, so they say. I used to put a cord of green rounds on my 4 by 4 long bed 3/4 T pickup and the front wheels were still on the ground but not by much and it was 100 miles from the farm to my house. It was usually stacked above the top of the cab, so what I worried about was hitting the breaks. I have eaten more than one rear window through the years.
Consider on future drying racks for firewood using old pallets to build a platform so you don't bend over so much, aka much easier on your back. All you need is a two foot high platform to stack the wood on. I have converted a couple I've known for years to doing that and they were shocked at how much easier it is to take the wood into the wood shed next to the house. Or you've seen the steel chemical and food products plastic tanks. The food products tanks can be used for storing water. The metal frames that allow the tanks to be picked up by a forklift make real nice wood storage and if you have a set of forks for your tractor it makes moving wood to the house drop dead easy. Cheers!
Mike, how could I have ever questioned you on yesterday's video. Your truck worked perfectly! And what a gem you have in Melissa! You're a blessed guy!
Mike, You're an awesome Dad..... Hunter great job on the tractor and Melissa you are a freeking animal. I don't know anybody who would have accepted the challenge of loading a cord of fire wood in the fastest time possible, you did it with a smile and you didn't even dent Mike's trailer.... Lol Outdoor With The Morgan's is a super channel... Thank you guys for sharing...
Good job Melissa! ... Trailer=Nice!... Keep Dad straight Hunter! 👍😊 Don't be to hard on ya-self Mike, a lot of things going on, hard to keep up with everything, sounds like Hunter had patience with ya in not giving up til you got it figured out.
Yea Hunter !!! You're the man! Melissa is such a trooper! You are always there at anytime for for your family including the dogs, chickens and the mice. And as someone once told me years ago, this certainly applies to you "You're going to get sun burned teeth from smiling so much"! PS. We knew you were going to beat Mike's time !
My brother and I had a firewood business which we started as kids in the 1960s ( Dad drove on deliveries) Even then, people were unaware as to how much volume was in a cord of wood. Some of our first time customers were a bit upset by just how much it was. I recall comments of " What am I going to do with all of this " or " This is going to be a lot of work to stack" 15 minutes was our best loading time from scattered on ground to loaded into the firewood truck. That was 1 fit young guy, wimpy West coast alder ( green mind you) Green alder is roughly 2 tons to the cord. Nowadays- I wouldn't want to challenge Melissa to a firewood loading contest!
I haven't been here long, I enjoy all the videos I have watched, This video rates high on my list could be my second choice.. I guess my favorite is #39. Fighting everyday.. Love this site. My goal to catch up watching all the video. Thanks for doing this and facebook.
GREAT JOB, I remember running into a home of squirrels in our wood pile. It was crazy, kids running one way, dogs running the other and me laughing all the way... you guys are a great team........M
Oh wow! Am so thrilled. This woman works like magic. Can you imagine, she didn't even look at the woods while catching the them. Do you have eyes at the back of your head?
Hunter, way to go telling dad he needed to shut the tractor down. Melissa you are staying young with all your workouts you are looking great. I agree that trailer is going to be a workhorse for you.
I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, you guys are the best! We need more people like you in this country, that would be the end of most of the problems we currently face. It’s been nice to see Melissa in more videos now, watch out Mike, she’s becoming the star! 😃 Somehow, I think you’re OK with that. God bless all of you.
If you are looking for speed, load in tractor bucket while Mike dumps in the trailer. You can even use 2 tractors so Melissa wouldn't even get a break. Great workout Melissa, you make me feel lazy and we deliver 250 cords.
Mike, you and Melissa have inspired me on my own property. We have 118 acres on The Sandusky River in Crestline Ohio. As I mentioned in a previous message, your life reminds me of what we did 10 to 12 years ago. We have transformed our property over the years and I now plan on tackling the woods during the summer months. Thinking of buying a skid steer forestry mulcher and possibly a mini excavator. The woods need much work. As it turns out one of the Moritz family works for me. As a result of your video, I will be looking at your trailer for wood and possibly a trailer to haul the heavy equipment. We donate our wood to employees and friends since we have so much of it. My wife and I may come to Paul Bunyon to see what it's all about. I am semi retired and can't think of a better way to spend my summers than playing in the forest. I hope to meet you. Your videos are great. Kudos to your son on his alert to you.😀.
Mike i have a 2017 3.5 EcoBoost and i use mine on the farm daily and pull upwards of 10 or 11 thousand pounds. I'm very impressed by mine!! Love the videos as always
Okay, I'll go ahead and comment BEFORE I watch Melissa start chucking wood. You are one brave lady sitting your phone on the wheel fender while you start throwing wood... haha Now I'll watch and see if you'll be visiting the Verizon store later... haha :-)

Wow!!!!! We should call her the Blur 🤣 great job 👏👏👏
Melissa you truly are amazing. I guessed 10 more minutes than it actually took you. You’re even more incredible than I was giving you credit. Wow, Mike is one lucky man!
I said 30 minutes tops good on you Melissa. Hello Hunter...!!! Mike awesome job with helping people like you both do. Thank you for sharing your video. Ed
Poor Hunter - He was just trying to help! Melissa, you are a beast great job! Mike I still wouldn't take you off the Father of the Year list.....yet..... haha
Excellent job Melissa Mike you are a lucky man my wife and I both grey on a farm and we heated with wood and I know if I even asked for some help to load the wood I know the answer would be no.
I have a 10' dump trailer, myself and its very handy to have. It weighs 1995 lbs. empty, it alsohas tandem axles also. You should have a 3/4 ton truck to pull your trailer, even though you only use it occasionally its only takes a few times to where out and crack the truck frame. Just like I did just so you know!
Melissa you rocked filling the trailer. The trailer looks like it worked awesome. A pickup truck will hold a face cord of wood no problem. Yiu better have a 1 ton truck to hold a full cord. 3 face cord in 1 full cord. Great video
Melissa, great work out there. Impressed with your time chucking that wood. Think that woodchuck has competition. Mike, nice haul on the wood - glad to hear truck handled it well. Hunter had your back, good for him, deserves extra chicken biscuit for that.
BS D Hi Mike Thank you for the wonderful videos and so much noladge I learn from you and you family. When I saw you driving I thought to myself that if for any reason the wood would jump out of your trailer it could be a big hazard
Any woman that ca guysn load a cord of wood in under a half hour, I don't wanna mess with in the 1st place. Be careful Mike. Loving you guys. From Cape Cod
Boy oh boy, Melissa, you are a beast. So inspiring and exhausting to watch you work at the pace in which you do. Also, I called it. I knew you could load the trailer in 27 minutes.
Wow! Almost to 100k!!!!! Been here since the beginning.
It's so fun to watch your dogs run free through your farm. Unfortunately, we had to put our Weimaraner down yesterday afternoon. Duke loved to run free around our farm too. Melissa, what a job you have done in such a short time. You are a worker!

Lol

Mike, Melissa is a real blessing!!
