Hi Paul & Michelle. Another great video. Unlike your cars, you two haven’t changed a bit! 😃
It’s amazing just how many set ups were similar to ours. And how little equipment we used to rely on to get to some of the most remote places, often in 2WD. The good old days….. Written whilst enjoying a coffee in our nice warm van with the gas heater on. 😂😂😂
Stay safe and enjoy your travels. Cheers Peter & Annette

Yeah 👍. Thanks. Been a great time travelling I must say!
Sometimes the most basic of setups.
We love our van. 9 years now & going strong 💪. Can't see any reason to change it.
      Love the DMax too!
      Cheers 🍻
      Safe travels
      Paul

Thanks for comprehensive reply. Just curious as I own a Paj, very happy with it. I was also looking at the Patrol previously and I don’t know of anyone who has owned both, so good info, thanks again.

      Hi Ron
      Thanks 🙏
We've been to Tassie a couple of times. Not sure if we will get back there again.
There's a whole playlist on our trip there from 2005. Bit dated now but was a great trip
      Check it out 👍😀

Certainly had some interesting set ups and vehicles. Interesting that You went from a Patrol to a Pajero, your opinions on both, which did you keep longest, better vehicle etc? Many thanks

      Hi Tony
We went to the Patrol from the NK Pajero looking for a more economical towing vehicle
It was ok off road & a nice ride but a slug when towing
It started to go into limp mode occasionally & the dreaded "Grenade". Was always on my mind. Couldn't trust it anymore & was worried about going remote with it
We kept it for 5 years before trading it in on the NT Pajero.
      What an amazing difference
Comfortable Powerful great for towing & economical to run
Loved the Pajero. Never missed a beat. But it had limited towing weight capacity
After 8 great years having the Pajero we Sold it & bought the DMax
Nearly 4 years down the track we've never looked back
An amazing towing vehicle with great economy. Good touring & great off road too
Great all round for our type of travelling & no weight issues with our setup
Not as comfortable a ride as the Paj but worth the compromise
For us the DMAX is the best of the lot
      Cheers 🍻

Love the DMAX. Had a couple of issues early but the dealer was right onto it without any problems. We had the dreaded turbo problem.
Still it's a great all round car & handles all we need it to....
      Cheers 🍻
