Great vid - love the commentry.
Glad you enjoyed Thanks 🙏 Cheers 🍻
You may want to look up on RUclips regarding deterrents for rats and mice in engine bays etc. One remedy was to mix peppermint oil and water into a spray bottle and spray into the engine bay. I have never done it, but there was a threat of mice near where I lived a few years ago and some people said it worked. It might be worth trying, you can buy the oil from most supermarkets etc.
Thanks for the advice 🙏 I have had heaps of ideas from our Facebook page also Many did mention peppermint Might give it a try Although we've been travelling around the country since the,80s and it was the first time we had a problem with rats. Seen the occasional mice plague but they didn't get under the bonnet Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle
Thankyou for the great video. We are heading there this Thursday for 2 nights at the National Park.
Have fun! It's a great walk Cheers 🍻
Cold in North Queensland. Diesel heater??? I think you both need to come back home to appreciate cold again.
😂😂. Even the locals are saying it is cold. It was getting down below 5 deg overnight. It's unseasonal & not what we've experienced on previous trips in the last few years We are currently back in Melbourne & yes it's colder Just feel it more these days Must be getting old 😂😂
@@pmk3australia we are in WA. 30s over here.
Yep! Heading over that way again next year. Plan on 6-8 months in Kimberley & Pilbara areas. Other than FNQ probably my Favourite part of the country As they say West is Best !
great vid... One day....
My spelling ok this time 😂😂 Cheers 🍻
The water was the deapest at Noahs flood and cant beleave millions of years.
Maybe 🤔 I just read that information from the sign...... I'm certainly no expert 😂😂 Cheers 🍻
🤣😂🤣
Just viewed this for the first time.. w any details on the nav app or whatever for me to check out. Thanks.😀
Hi. The track to Halligan Bay is about 7km before William Ck. Coming from Marree. Not sure what you are asking? My nav app is Exploroz Traveller. With EO Topo Maps Hope this helps Let us know if you need more 👍
@pmk3australia thanks.. I was trying to ask (badly)what nav app was showing on screen, which you've answered. How do you find using it generally please?
Ha ! Yes I Think I got the idea..... We like it, have been using it for a few years now & I reckon it's good value for the price. As long as you have a device to run it on that is fast enough. We have an Andriod head unit in the DMax an have it loaded onto that & it works well. We also have it on our Iphones which is great when you are on a hike to track where you are. I have previously used ozi explorer, Hema, VMS but I think Exploroz is great although we don't use it to it's full potential. Look it up on Google & check the reviews. Hope this info helps. Cheers Paul & Michelle
Carmila Beach may be a little easier to find on Wikicamps :-) - Great vid..... One day.
Whoops 😅. 🙄 Don't want to make it too easy to find 😂😂😂😂 Thank for picking that up I have edited the description Cheers 🍻
Will you come back for go fest???
Weather is much nicer than what I have to put up with between Sydney and Dandenong, great episode guys 👍
This was back in May. We're a couple of months behind with our videos. Once we left the coast the weather improved Although we are currently in Cunnamulla and it's raining 😂😂😂 I guess you are in Vic in the middle of winter ❄️ We'll be home by the end of July Not looking forward to that 🙄 Thanks for your comments 👍😀
Wow!! Another great episode 👏. I'm looking forward to the next episode. Safe travels.
Thanks! 👍. More to come soon from this current trip Really appreciate your support & comments.
How awesome that footage is! Much appreciated.
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks 🙏
Great vid. Noice Area... One Day...
Definitely! 👍 Cheers 🍻
I was at big red last October for 4 hrs and no body there I had whole place to myself
Yeah. It can get really busy We visit Birdsville regularly Always head out to Big Red. First visit was back in 2000 A lot more popular these days You were lucky to get to see it alone👍😀 We usually visit outside of the big events in town
Great vid - Lovely ssite ...
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks 🙏
Great video thanks guys i missed 1770 when i was over there last year looks like i have to drive back to check it out all the best Ron
Thanks Ron. We usually avoid the high profile places but 1770 was a surprise Beautiful place & was pretty quiet outside of peak season when we were there. Loved the cp we stayed at also Cheers 🍻
We have finally made it to WA. Revisited this video as we intend to do the Dampier Peninsula. Great info thanks.
Glad it was helpful! There's a couple more videos on our channel about Gumbanan & Pender Bay also Check them out.
Thanks. Will do.
COOL drone shot of the white birds! So glad none of them ran into your drone. 😬 $14 a nite is pretty great! Fun adventure, enjoyed coming along. - Michelle
Thanks It was just luck. I was flying well above & the flew into the shot. I have zoomed in to make them look closer They probably didn't even notice the drone above. It's a great site. Cheers 🍻
@@pmk3australia Those are the best shots, when they just happen while you are recording! 😁
Eidsvold, pronounced Eydsvold, 🤣 my old stomping ground. great vid.
Thanks for the info! I always struggle with pronouncing names correctly. Glad you like our video Cheers 🍻
I'm really enjoying your videos. You sure find some great places to visit and camp.
Glad you like them! We just check them out on wikicamps for the reviews & pick them from that. Usually works out ok 👌 Cheers 🍻
Marble was first gold fields as comet underground gold mine as jasper on coogan river my late uncle Paul Roberts owed marble bar caravan Park in marble Bar
It's a very interesting piece We visited the comet mine museum but access to the actual site was closed now as it is unsafe We also stayed at the MB caravan park Really enjoyed our time in Marble Bar 👍.
Great vid.. One Day...
Maybe one day will come sooner! Cheers 🍻
Awesome vid. I’m going there in two months and gonna try and get my 2WD through there if the road is dry.
Have fun! 😀. We have been out there in a Commodore in the dry. So it's definitely doable. 😂 Cheers Paul
@@pmk3australia that's encouraging, Thanks man.
Awesome. Thank you.
You're welcome! Cheers Paul & Michelle
Some great drone shots & really nicely produced. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it. We have a new drone since we filmed this video. Much better images & video. Just up to the operator to get it good 👍 😂😂
@@pmk3australia Nice! 😃
LOVE THE PINK HUES
Yes. It's a great place to view a sunset!
Enjoyed the video. Weather looked miserable but gee, it made for spectacular waterfalls.
We didn't really mid the rain Certainly was an adventure Glad you enjoyed our video Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle
Thanks for another amazing video 👏💕
You are so welcome!🙏
I have always loved waterfalls and you have captured these ones so well. Much appreciated.
Glad you like them! You are welcome 🙏 Appreciate your comments Nice to hear this type of feedback. Cheers Paul & Michelle
Thanks for traipsing in the cold and wet for us, I enjoyed the video. I have always known Wollomombi to be pronounced "wol-um-by". But like so many Aussie places we never get them 100%correct.
Thanks for the comments We had no choice with the weather, but enjoyed the trip all the same Yeah. I struggle with alot of the names.... usually get them right after I have filmed the video 😂😂 Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle
Great Vid. Noice area... One Day....
Thanks 🙏 Cheers 🍻
Another excellent video guys.
Thanks again! Cheers 🍻
G’day Paul The fan in the caravan fridge, any chance you remember where you purchased, I’m looking into that atm, but not many choices out there, well not without spending $300-$500 Thanks
Sorry Troy, wouldn't have a clue Had it for a while now. Think it was on eBay but couldn't tell you where. Definitely worth it though 😂 I remember I only spent about $80 on it. Maybe check eBay Sorry I can't be of more help Cheers 🍻
I'm from the north end & Stockton sand dunes are the largest moving sand mass in the southern hemisphere! The dunes can change daily.
Wow 😯. That's great info. I didn't know that. It's a beautiful coastline. We've visited a few times now Thanks for your comments 😀 Cheers 🍻
Hi Paul & Michelle Broke is only half an hour from us. If we hadn’t been heading north along the WA coast we could have caught up. Not sure where you are heading but here are a few spots you might like to check out: Gloucester Tops, Bretti on Thunderbolt Way north of Gloucester, Apsley Falls Walcha, Nundle Woolen Mill, Seal Rocks, Trial Bay, Point Plummer (use road from Crescent Head rather than beach drive from Port Macquarie North Shore), Dunns Swamp near Rylstone, Camp Blackman in Warrumbungle NP, Sawn Rocks Mt Kaputar, lots of other spots in the Pilliga too. That should take care of a few week! Hope the weather improves. It’s 32 here in Coral Bay. Stay safe. Cheers Peter & Annette.
Ah..! Bummer. Thanks for all the info but We've moved on. We did check out Bretti but we're just passing through. The weather has been terrible. Rain on & off all the time So we headed to the sun 🌞 We are planning on going back to that area another trip. Enjoy Coral Bay. We have it on the list for next year when we're over there again Travel Safe Have a great Time Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle
Great video Paul and Michelle, can't wait till next Saturday, as I will be out on the road again, two weeks this time. Ilford, Pilliga Scrub, and Moree.
Thanks Ron Have a great trip , Stay safe & enjoy the soak in Moree Baths We skirted some of those places on our way up. Great country Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle
Great video , safe travels. Looking forward to the next video.
Cheers 🍻 Working on it 😀
Another great video, thanks guy I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks 🙏 Glad you enjoyed it Cheers 🍻
Another great video , well done on the fire Michelle ,Sofala looks very quaint. Did the drive around Bathurst many years ago but not with the van though .
Thank You 🙏 You have to do the Bathurst drive Even if you have a van attached 😂
Great vid... No plans, No Destination.....
Thanks 🙏 And no idea 🤷♂️ 😂😂😂🙄 Can't take yourself too seriously 😀 Cheers 🍻
Really informative and helpful video. Thanks for not showing us what you ate for breakfast, lunch & tea! We got to see the places we are curious about, so thanks for a great vid.
Ha! Great Comment! Thanks so much 👍😀 We try to keep it simple & honest without all the usual BS of social media.......... Glad you noticed ! We also try to avoid what we call "More Drama than a RUclips Thumbnail ". 😂😂😂😂 Thanks again for your support We have a new video coming out today, Saturday at 2.00pm aest Check it out 😀 Cheers Paul & Michelle
Enjoyed your video and are glad you enjoyed Snowy Valleys. Next time you are travelling that way, (or anyone travelling with dogs) go up to Batlow from Adelong and free camp in the state forest on the other side of Blowering Dam. Check out the sculpture trail from Batlow through to Sugar Pines and Pilot Hill ( free camp at Lochinvar Park at nearby Laurel Hill). Then through to Tumbarumba and Paddy's Falls, with brilliant free camps at Henry Angel, close to town and on the Hume Hovell track, or Paddy's River free camp. Both camps have flush toilets and hot water at the camp kitchens. Or head the other way from Tumbarumba to the free camp at Mannus Lake. Then you aren't far from the border and all the camps on the Murray River. And the fires? Yeah. They are doing a lot of burn offs in the state forests in that area during the cooler weather. The app "hazards near me" for NSW comes in really handy for seeing how close to you the fires are.
Thanks for your comments. Glad you like our videos. Geez, what a wealth of information...... Thank You 🙏 We intend heading back to that country on another trip in the future. Your info will come in very handy Cheers 🍻 Paul and Michelle
Loved the video very interesting those towns which are not there anymore enjoyed the video thank you
Glad you enjoyed, we love exploring these old towns!
loved it, I'm living vicariously through your videos. Thank you mon frere.....xxx
So glad! 😌. It's great when people enjoy what we do. Take care ❤️
Well done, another amazing video 👏
Thank you so much 😀. Glad you like them! Currently sitting in our van in Armidale Doing some editing on the next video and it's pouring rain again.😩Cheers Paul & Michelle
Great video , the views are spectacular,
Thanks 👍. Unfortunately no dogs allowed 🥲 Here is a link to wikicamps: au.wikicamps.co/site/New+South+Wales+-2F-+ACT/Campground/Yachting+Point/77256. Cheers Paul & Michelle
Great Vid...One Day....
Hope so!
Lake Blowering is a special place and your videos are brilliant of the surroundings. Great video ! Cheers
@shauncooper9942 Yes it is! We had the best time there & would def go back again. Glad you like our videos, Thanks. Cheers, Paul & Michelle.
no stone guards on van at all?????
Ha! Most of them are just for show... they also reduce your turning circle when backing I use just extended mudflaps. I find that stops most of the stones before they even get out from under the car 👍 Been travelling like that for years Cheers 🍻 Paul
