Roger is a truly a hands-on guy when it comes to his products... I recently bought a Sadowsky SPB-2 Preamp Pedal and had a question about it. I emailed Roger, and he will answer you promptly. (His email address is in his website for everyone to see by the way, which is awesome). Excellent customer service and support from the man himself. !!!

Since Warwick does PLEK its instruments (I have heard that), the made in Germany Sadowsky basses are being PLEK-ed as well?

Hi Tomasz! Thank you for your question! The only instruments from our production that go through the PLEK-process are the Framus guitars. The Warwicks as well as the Sadowsky instruments go through a slightly different process in which the fretslots are cut and placed so precise and evenly that an additional leveling of the frets is not necessary in most cases. If there is any imperfection detected when doing the final setup, the frets get leveled by hand.
