If you could only get one of either Onana or Branthwaite who would you get from Everton
I would go Onana 100%
ONANA doesn't convince me at all
I have only watched Ugarte 2 times against arsenal amd he was pretty much motm!
My preference is neves but if we don't get him Ugarte is the one for me
But i also think we should explore south american market as well
Didn't he get a red card?
@@zebmars8944 watch the games again yes he got the red but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t good
Neves isn’t a dm
You think ugarte is the best option for you because of 2 games?
@@Onyshalo onana i have watched him for all season and rhere were games where he was fine but overall not the one for me
If Manchester united get him for under £45 which I'm guessing they will, then This is a steal for what he is as a player. Quality content as always 👌
Thanks bro 🙏🏼
£45? Even my left leg cost more than that.
Ugarte, Braithwaite, deligt, atleast we r linking with good mentality players atleast happy to see that 😌
Ugarte and Rabiot would improve the midfield a lot
Only question should be....who fits better with Maino, as need to build the team around him for next 5 years.
I do agree we should be building around our young players. But players need competition, what happens when mainoo or Bruno or a new DM have bad games who comes on to replace them. We can't have players playing 60 plus games next year. This is why squad depth is important
United should be built around any a well defined style of play and not around any player
@@tewiastudios exactly no more player power
Building the team around Mainoo would be the dumbest thing to do
@@tewiastudiosyou deserve a cold beer for this comment! 🍻
Everton will not sell Onana to United for less than the Branthwaite fee. United bosses probably know this already.
I have been watching copa America there is an interesting 19yr old centre back from Costa Rica his name is jaylend Mitchell I think if you can analyse him 1 day you are going to be remembered as the first person to analyse a great defender I saw a lot of potential
Great content much a due to your determination and grit. Thank you.
Onana's limitations are visible in a high press system. During high press and opponent low block set up, this squeezes the size of the pitch restricting onana's movements and link up plays due to his long strides and high arc turnings. Its like how pogba clunky plays and runs when heading to the box and linking with forwards or wingers to break low blocks set ups.
To speed plays at the middle, needs technical and small stratured CDMs for quick turnings, set tempo and switch of plays as their small structured body position gives very little tells on their next moves. Little details count.
Exactly 💯
30% disagree as much as you made good points about onana we don’t necessarily need a small statured dm,because of short comings at the back, my first choice would have been boubacar kamara but his injury is a hindrance atm he seats deep makes perfectly timed tackles and would have been perfect, please feel free to mention these small statured dms you have in mind 🙏🏽
@@OnyshaloUgarte is 6ft tall. Hardly small!
@@Onyshalo well known Ngolo kante .. lee fee and guimares too.
I always wonder why we waste money on Mason Mount because Fred and Sabizter would be very useful 🤦
Nah their not as good. Both ageing as well. Mount in the right role can be as important as Havertz has become to arsenal. Don’t know why we paid £55m in the last year of his contract and gave him those wages tho
Sabitzer is injury prone.
Wonders that never end in Man U.... Like I almost hated myself as a man U fans when they went on with that deal and also gave him the #7.... 🤮
@@AtlantisFootballtrue buh I don't see how he fits in to the Man united structure
@@alexpog3642No he isn't? He was a good squad option.
We are probably getting Ugarte
My problem with Ugarte is that he’s not a 6, he’s more of a destructive 8 or double pivot player alongside someone responsible for buildup and that covers ground well since he’s so aggressive.
I thought as a club we moved past this type of 8 to be more Mainoo like. This style of 8 is less suited for a possession heavy side. Don’t like the dynamics of him and Mainoo playing together. Don’t think they complement each others weaknesses well.
I can only get behind this deal if the role Ugarte plays is as a Fred and Eriksen replacement. Or in games where we know we will be under more pressure like away at the Etihad, Emirates or Anfield we play him as the 8 alongside an industrious 6 to cover the space he will vacate when chasing tackles.
He would inject needed energy and tenacity into the midfield. A disciplined 6. Also can be a bit of a $hithouse.
I ugarte is better than casemiro in terms of age and he playing style is like casemiro. So i think he'll be a very smart move for tge midfielder. Dont u think soo
Tbf half of the defensive midfielders in Europe are currently better than Casemiro
It’s not in comparison to Casemiro tho. It’s in comparison to other players on the market. Casemiro can’t stay, he’s a disgrace the way his fitness and form completely tailed off last season
@AtlantisFootball bro what I meant is ugarte Is a aggressive tackle midfielder. Yeah hes 💯 better than casemiro.
@AtlantisFootball bro can u make a video about how eth system and tactics would be like next season pls bro.
@AtlantisFootball like he's system in possession and out of possession. Can pls make a video about that 🙏. Love your content
Ugarte and Martinez together would give United a MAJOR BOOST both defensively and offensively and the Old Trafford Fans would take to the Uraquayan as much as they have taken the Argentinian to their hearts
Ugarte would be a fantastic signing however I do feel united should pursue youssouf fofana from monaco. He's strong, athletic, has one year left on his contract and he announced he's leaving. I heard he can be sold for 30mil or less.
If we don't get ugarte, for the right fee and forget about onana, then I'd say we should sign youssouf fofana.
Hey bro can u make a video on how deligt would fit into manutd tactically. Pls 🙏
Saw ugarte play against Panama. He was great
Also think a lot of people within our canvass struggle to accept and/or see how players from lower Prem sides can scale up to better sides. If you asked our fan see if they would have taken Ake from Bournemouth or White from Brighton, or even Rice 3 years ago most would have snubbed the chance and not seen the vision.
Onana’s level of innate athleticism and physique is gold dust in the 6 market atm. More than mouldable with the right coaching.
Ugarte is just a bit underrated, I wonder why psg want him out . If I was united I will get this done immediately before other clubs swoop in
@atlantisfootball i think we should look for industrious midfielders to complement Mainoo, i do rate Ugarte very high but i also think our midfield will lack the needed physicality and aerial ability with Ugarte and Mainoo and Licha behind, this will invite teams to go for clipped balls in the middle targeting all three, moreover, although Ugarte is a very good ball carrier, he tend to do it more than he should not opting for a simple pass. I think he will be a liability in position as soon as teams realise that he will struggle with his back go the goal under pressure, he wasn't a regular starter for a possession based side in a less physical and less intense league
His back to goal weakness is complemented by mainoo..
They seem to complement each other. Maino weaknesses are Urgate's strengths and vice versa.
@@remmyfrank6484 i think they will be targeted by ariel duels also lacks the needed physicality and breaking line passing which is mandatory for our in possession game, he will be a great addition but i can't see him successful in a double pivot with Mainoo, Palcios will be the best option if available
so ugarte is a younger version of fred then ? fair enough we could’ve actually done with a fred shuttling around mainoo last season. everton would probably not sell both branthwaite and onana too
Ugarte plays for a big team PSG while Onana plays for Everton. If Onana was that special he would be playing for any of the big 5 teams in the league
Complete nonsense. You are just saying that because you personally can’t judge each player individually.
He only moved to Everton the other summer, so no he wouldn’t be playing for a team like PSG would he.
The fact you’ve used that as your reason to judge players shows you’ve not even watched enough of each player.
Why have an opinion?
@@AtlantisFootball 😂😂😂😂😂 really
You have zero ball knowledge
@@mdl2067 okay so you eho has a lot of knowledge; why haven't you become a manager ? You can't self praise and call other people's analysis as nonsense or what ever , it clearly shows lack of respect and professionalism
@@brightmulenga1134 yep.
Ugarte has the speed, tenacity, passing range and tackling that United desperately need in centre midfield. He frees up Mainoo and Bruno to feed the attack.
If United get De Ligt and Ugarte, they would be able to play out from the back flawlessly.
De Ligt £43m
Ugarte £40m
Zirkzee £34m
Total £107m
That is a bargain for the level of players youd be getting back
I would rather have ugarte. there were some reports last year that Everton wanted 70-80m for him . I like Onana but I wouldn’t say hes double the player Ugarte is who is around 40/50m and they are about the same age. And it is strange that Onana got dropped the last couple games for Everton.
Can you analyse willy kambwala
if they got ugarte +20m for rashford that would be a great deal, they could put the surplus towards nico williams or coman
You want to sell Rashford and get Nico Williams, lol.
I'll like to keep Casemiro and sign Ugarte. We got Mainoo and hope Amrabad will be sign permanently
Nah no way. Casemiro has to go. Can’t keep a Championship level player on £18m a season
If we can get him cheap or a loan I don’t see why not though but we’ll need to buy another midfielder
Mate we aren’t getting him cheap or on a loan. They signed him for £50m last summer
Oh banana is your choice?
i think onana is better than both of them too, but i also think what everton is asking for is a lot more than what you can realistically pay for these other two.
What about palacios? You mentioned you like him, but not in this video
Too many injury concerns for ten hag’s system so had to change it up
What the difference between ugarte and casemiro ?
Ugarte can run and isn’t fat and overweight
And can dribble past atleast one player
Also young CB options out there, like Anselmino, Murilo, Hato.
@ManUtd should go after Murilo and Jorrel Haro. Scout them, they are highly skilled young CBs. Others too like Robert Renan, Zeno Debast. Besides Todibo and Anselmino. Plenty out there, just do a proper search.
@ManUtd Get especially Murilo and Hato, they are really exciting young CB talents, tehnical gifted, passing, interceptions, passing etc.
Also the likes of Maxence Lacroix, Cristhian Mosquera, Piero Hincapie
Looks like Hato bigger talent than Leny Yoro
Atlantissss did you see Ornstein’s tweet?
What one
What did he say? Some of us are not on twitter.
@@amanikibola156 think it’s a tweet about de ligt. Haven’t seen one on Ugarte recently
I do not understand all the hype around Onana, he is just an average player, not even the best midfielder at Everton. Ugarte is levels above him
Completely wrong. He’s not average at all. He’s 100% the best CM at Everton
@@AtlantisFootball I think you are obsessed with stats a lot and you undermine the eye test. Watching Onana play for Everton I do not see how he can be an improvement to the United midfield.
@@hopekamanga6578 no I’m not. I’ve literally said that Onana’s statistical profile doesn’t show how good he is and looks underwhelming. That’s the worse argument you could have made.
@@hopekamanga6578 watching Onana for Everton and Belgium I can 100% see how he would improve United
@@AtlantisFootball good content man.
You don’t have to explain yourself tbh each to their own Onana is a baller he just plays for Everton and not many really watch him or understand football…
Youssouf Fofana way better…cheaper…only has missed 15ges through ankle injury.Durable brother Perfect for mainoo’s growth
Onana who was benched at Everton
Onana who shouldn’t be benched for Everton and has been starting and excellent for Belgium
what happened to your 3412 shape
What do you mean?
@@AtlantisFootball 2 videos ago u had (how ETH can use zirkzee and frimpong in a 3412) does ugarte fit into this formation
ETH isn’t going to use that system. Or most probably. Most likely going to stick to a one striker system
@@AtlantisFootball hojlund would be better in a 2 striker formation
Alvarez just injured in cops so…
Onana isnt also a progressive passer. You would expect 90% success rate for those type of player. Atleast Ugarte does that.
Not really because one plays for Everton one plays for PSG. Pass completion doesn’t mean a progressive passer. Passes into the final third and progressive passes are more important
Wrong.. Onana is NOT the player that can pass forward or progressing the ball from deep.. He's a great tackler but lacked football IQ to be a deep playmaker..
Right but no one said he would be a deep lying playmaker. His progressive passing is better than Ugarte and Alvarez’s
Ugarte is less than 30m with market value 45M
No he’s not. That’s just made up. Why would PSG sell a player for half of what they bought him for a year ago, when he’s only early 20s and other ball winning CM’s of his level and age are going for between £50m-£60m. No way he is going for £30m. £45m minimum and that will have add ins
60% of what they bought him for. He’s still worth about £50m in the market
@@AtlantisFootball Well let's see, don't think Ineos will pay more than 35-40M, he is an unknown player with no hype around him and not that important for PSG- They can use the money for Neves. And he wants to leave PSG this summer.
@@meeliskask9177 he’s an unknown player? 🤣🤣🤣 no he’s not, he’s one of the most well known ball winning CM’s around. Literally went for £50m last summer after Chelsea, Liverpool and United were reportedly in for him
@@AtlantisFootball then why is PSG selling a player who they bought 23/24 season? I bet 70% had never heard about him before now. He joined Sporting 21/22 how many people watch Portuguese league daily? In PSG he was only 1year so how should people know him? He have played in europe only few years so how should people know him from french and Portuguese league? Normal people don’t watch every league in the world. So for me he is unknown player compared to Neves and the rest we are looking for.
If Ugarte is so good. Why psg is trying to sell him after just 1 year. He ain't worth 45-50 million pound.
35 max and put some add-ons.
If we were bayern. We would get hkme for 30-35 range.Just because we are united we are still getting stabbed by high price tag for psg sellout
i'ma be honest, i think manutd have so much more issues than just 1 or 2 transfers. the whole culture in the club has to revert back to the winning mentality, it's a club in shambles compared to the former glorious one. the "power" in the club is way too spread and you had one of the greatest rebuilding managers in your ranks with ralf rangnick and you could literally see how pissed off he was every interview. ole also admitted that it was nothing short than a battle royale for who gets the say in transfers and then when it came to idiotic transfers like anthony they suddenly agreed to set this mega record fee. people above the manager need to be let go. restructure everything, make a small 3 men council for transfers where all 3 have to agree, it's either 3 yays or 1 nay. and really, really you need players hungry for victory more than the next cr7. mentality is sheit, morale is sheit. just burn it all down and rebuild it, can't be more expensive then what was spent the past 4 years.
Why isn’t he starting at psg?
Doesn’t fit Enrique’s system and the role that Ruiz plays a lot better
Why United is linked to Alvarez, i don't know. He is not even decent.
He will end up at Bayern Munich
Onana will flop so badly in Manchester United. Among them all, Ugarte is the standout if Manchester United is actually a serious club, but knowing them........... I rest my case
Onana is overrated, Ugarte is waaaaaay better
No he’s not. People need to actually watch players play, not just judge them on the teams they play for and nationality. Onana is massively underrated.
@@AtlantisFootballonana will never fit in ten hag system. He’s lacking with alot of things except Tackle. He doesn’t have passing, vision etc
@@AtlantisFootballhonestly I don't like either. Wieffer is perfect for ten hag system but Onana is definitely not the man. He's like a Belgium mctominay that can't shoot very well. I've watched a number of Everton games until he got dropped and tbh I see why he was dropped. I'd take ugarte over Onana but Tbf I'm basing this off comps that I've watched, haven't seen a full game of ugarte yet. Wieffer or Onana?
@@charlesvanrooyen9523🔥
Excellent! He’s overrated. Stats (of which Onana is poor in ) are not everything, you can measure a player’s value from just watching him play, Onana is not good enough, these analysts should stop trying to market a bad player.
I’ve personally not watched Ugarte, so I can’t give an opinion on him. But we need some that actually works.
🔥🔥🔥🥹
I am sorry But Onana from Everton as ball player he is so weak. In fact he is poor.
No he isn’t at all. You’re just saying that because he is a tall CM. He’s very good, watch him for Belgium. He’s not poor at all
Edson Alvarez and Manuel Ugarte are the Ultimate destroyers and can defend with World class abilitiy.
Onana is good but he didn’t have a stand out at Everton like Alvarez did with WestHam
I’m not paying that much for him go try Onana Wharton or Gray with that price cheaper go try Wieffer
My problem with Ugarte is that he’s not a 6, he’s more of a destructive 8 or double pivot player alongside someone responsible for buildup and that covers ground well since he’s so aggressive.
