Agreed! I find that too many LRM boats are just always in the back 🤦♂️ ESPECIALLY the IS Mechs. Like, if you stay with your team, they can help defend you from people under running your weapons!
Hey Bara, we were in a match on Mining the other day, you were in your Hunch-IIC-A, I was in my LB-40 "Confetti-nir", & thanks to you reminding the group that "... the Fafnir can't get out of trouble quickly, so go with him" (or something to that effect) I didn't immediately die in a fire with that push, so thanks. I still died horribly later on in the match, but that was my own bad playing that got me.
Do 2x rotary AC/5 4x AC/2 on a mauler Right now it's a bit tough to make it work due to the low velocity of the rac5 shells, but next patch will make this build an absolute DPS monster
That first game was really interesting. No need to apologize for "playing the objective" - i get annoyed when people speedrun to the base and take it instead of fighting, but in this case you literally had a fight and an enemy that was choosing to engage only in their safest spot. Forcing them to react was the good way to go and if that last part of the game ended up in "no fight", that would've been on the sniper sitting at long range and not moving. Also, i really want to get this mech now. I'd never really considered a jenner much, but i like odd little support builds on lights / medium mechs from time to time. ATMs on this might work even better than LRMs.
Missile slingers are always fun! My personal favorite is a Cyclops I have built with seven SRM 6's. Hot as hell and useless outside brawling range, but every time I core an assault in one alpha, I remember why I love it.
I've tried it and its pretty terrible since IS lrm launchers weigh so much. You can only pull it off on clan lights due to the much lower tonnage and slots c-lrm use.
Or the locust with 4 rocket launchers and one ERML. I have killed two Direwolves, then started dropping arty strikes and finally using the Laser. They were 4 mechs down before the lights started looking for me. Then both ran right in front of me while shut down. I like to think I was using a play stile more akin to backstabbing, underhanded, and flat out evil.
0:24 Just a small nitpick, but could you hold the view on the item for just a split second longer? Some of us don't have the weapon stats memorized, and it'd be nice to see them before a game begins.
Third times the charm eh? LOL! Bara I love everything You do Man, from MWO to Roguetech. I'd love to see what You do with the Hunchback 4J. LRM or MRM, I have one, and though I've had more success with the MRM's than LRM's, I'd love to see what You would do with the mech. I love the Hunchback, My first and favorite Mech. I don't think You've ever had a 4J build to show off. Thanks for everything. Cheers.
Yeah I played mwo when you need 3 times the same mech to master It and hunchback 4G 4J and 4SP are my choices, I LOVE the 4J with 2 Lrm10 and a tag but the real Monster imo is the 4SP, that Guy had so Many armor and structure quirks... It was like piloting a 75 ton IS mech
@@senectarius9685 OH MAN are You Baradul? Nah nah.... Yer not Baradul. Weird that You would comment. If I found the Vid, I wouldn't ask for one now would I? Cheers.
@@chofa135 Yeah I've seen MRM 4SP's lately tearing it up. I debated for a long time on either the 4SP or 4H. I went 4H. Though I love the Hunchback so much I may just get the 4SP too.
Hey cool we have a scout mech. So what you rocking on that thing, some machine guns a few er small lasers etc? Nah, I went for 50 lrms. oO Great games Bara. Fun to watch. Thank you for them.
That first match perfectly encapsulates why Clan PPCs need nerfing back down. SOOO many Shadow Cats and Vapor Eagles around these days, just sitting miles off, picking people off without return damage. Kinda hate it, but I’m also a bit salty from my experiences and lack of c-bills to make a Mech capable of it 😂
I can remember playing the Oxide with LRM 5s and trying to get more damage than the number of LRMs that I had. I did it a few times. Never in the Jenner IIc. Just too many LRMs, but still the close in LRM support is always the best way to play.
built something similar with the free mech given away this month. except i put in 3 LRM 15 racks instead of the LRM 5s due to the cooling and weight to damage ratio of the LRM 15 rack.
My fav stupid light LRM boat still has to be the cougar. 4 lrm 15s and 5 tons of ammo. or 4 tons and an ECM. Slow dies instantly and fills the sky with angry bees.
STATS: 1st Game: Your Team consisted of 5 Assaults, 3 Heavies, 2 Mediums and 2 Lights The Enemy consisted of 3 Assaults, 5 Heavies, 4 Mediums and 0 Lights The Enemy out-tonned Your Team by 5 Tons - The Enemy Team Wins Baradul - 584 DMG 2nd Game: Your Team consisted of 5 Assaults, 2 Heavies, 2 Mediums and 3 Lights The Enemy consisted of 3 Assaults, 6 Heavies, 1 Mediums and 2 Lights Your Team out-tonned the Enemy by 20 Tons - Your Team Wins Baradul - 560 DMG
Drop the launchers to 3x lrm5 and 3x lrm 10 and you get lots of room for ammo for the loss of 5 tubes. Better health per missile and better spread too.
That was my first mech. All lrm 5. 1 for all and 2 to spam. I did ok until watching your vids on proper lurm usage. Started brawling with them and quickly maxed out my skills.
Why didn't you do only LRM-5's and stackup the engine and the ammo instead? Or if it's already an IIC, why not go ATM's straight instead? Suggested the LRM-variant only for IS Jenners and the ATM for the clans....
Has anyone tried to go triple light gauss on a Corsair 7a? It can fit 2 on left arm if you take out left arm's AMS, I'm currently too poor in C-Bills to try and build it.
Meme mech? I've shredded some major ass in an LRM Jenner. I ran 3 LRM-5s, and an SRM4 for emergencies. Of course, I ran around the outside for most of the match, only firing at moderately damaged enemies. "Technically", I was farming kills. 👿
"Why is my sensor range so limited" Meming aside Never bring a lrm mech without a full size BAP installed. For those who actually want to put up some dmg grab a tag laser and roll The Hunchback-IIC-B Performs better in every metric than this including about 95 kph. Its practically a meme too. Cant catch the RazorMissileback
Bara is like a drug lord. Here you go. Here's a little taste of mech counterstrike played on expert mode. Now go little pop tart. Make the mayhem and bring me the tears.
Screw the LRM's are boring...It's pretty much all I play as a new player. Bought a kintaro-18 and have been experimenting with different lrm builds on it. I'd love to see more LRM gameplay for map positioning and such. Kintaro build was 5xlrm5 with tag and lrg pulse. Now it's a 2xlrm15 & 2 med pulse lasers if anyone is curious. Got sick of ams wrecking house.
Players bitch about skill lord crap because its fashionable. LRMs get a bad wrap because most players cant fight properly with them without having unit cohesion. My only 2k damage games have been with my FP unit while in a LRM Awesome or an ATM Sunspider.
LRM/ATM games are best on this channel, instead of the usual boring nascar Most creative play vs the same people, same names, same server At least not the same merry-go-round, needs some thinking
Both games were a demo for how LRM's should be used on ANY Mech chassis, When to shoot and who to shoot taught by the school master.
Agreed! I find that too many LRM boats are just always in the back 🤦♂️ ESPECIALLY the IS Mechs. Like, if you stay with your team, they can help defend you from people under running your weapons!
Great demonstration of positioning and playing the LRMs. Really great skirmish/edge play with a squishy mech, too! Thanks, Bara!
First game was great. Thank you for showing all of it. I appreciate a good non "nascar" game.

Enough LRM tube density for trypophobia
That first match on Tourmaline is a fantastic showcase of what makes this game so fun.

you just inspired me to make this King Crab 000B, it seems pretty good.

Yes, that fight on Tourmaline was quite hot. :)
That eagle pilot can shoot! Falling back to objective was exactly the right move.
Triple clan erppc are currently way op with the splash damage and can melt a mech from behind. This is getting fixed next patch.
I'm guessing this will still be a good build just not OP
@@T0tenkampf Sure.
Great Video! Thank You!
GG thanks for the vid baradude
the artic wolf A? B? the ecm one with all the missles ya know way better for this style of play (its fun)

I need to get one of these!!!
Makes me think of my Cinder lrm build but with jump jets.
Drop the launchers to 3x lrm5 and 3x lrm 10 and you get lots of room for ammo for the loss of 5 tubes. Better health per missile and better spread too.
I saw that a previous vid had the browser game tag and was wondering if it was one
That was my first mech. All lrm 5. 1 for all and 2 to spam. I did ok until watching your vids on proper lurm usage. Started brawling with them and quickly maxed out my skills.
I run an oxide kitted out like this and it's consistently one of my highest damage dealers.
I take that back, I run all lrms, a faster engine, no jump jets and a bap.
Why didn't you do only LRM-5's and stackup the engine and the ammo instead?
Or if it's already an IIC, why not go ATM's straight instead? Suggested the LRM-variant only for IS Jenners and the ATM for the clans....
Hey you should try that same build just with ATM
Has anyone tried to go triple light gauss on a Corsair 7a? It can fit 2 on left arm if you take out left arm's AMS, I'm currently too poor in C-Bills to try and build it.
Bara runs around for 18 hours with a red CT. If I'm red, i die the next shot.
My god, i thought it was a photoshop with that many missile pods. Turns out it actually looks like that.
It seems like a mohawk mech or something like that, funny
Bara, just wondering if you've ever done a RAC2 Urbie...
recommend downgrading the 15s to 10s rather than the engine. last time i went meme build on it i used all lrm 5 points
Wow you took a Harasser Hover Vehicle and put Cavalry 'Mech Legs on it :D
It's an assault Locust!
Every time I play mwo again, it's the same thing. Where's my team??
Meme mech? I've shredded some major ass in an LRM Jenner. I ran 3 LRM-5s, and an SRM4 for emergencies.
Of course, I ran around the outside for most of the match, only firing at moderately damaged enemies. "Technically", I was farming kills. 👿

The existence of this mech is so random >_>
the first game is what happens when you ignore the snipers.
People forget there are objectives. They just go for kill 'em all. Heck, I got team killed for daring to try and take an objective.
Don't pick on mama king crab's kids.

And if people call this a meme that just means you're using it right.
I always wonder if giving views and likes to 2 y/o videos means anything.......
Why
This coulda been an lrmurbie, but you had you go with clan tech. Dissapoint.
This.is.wrong. ;-)
Well it might sound bitter, but LRMs are not for everyone. I mean...thats a how NOT to play LRMS. No matter the Chassis :P But good try I guess.
