That link is not working for me on my end Jack. My request is "I Try" Angela Bofill. It's a powerful song and highly emotional. I know you will LOVE IT!
React to Whitney’s concert for the heroes in 1991 I think Also whitney and Mariah on Oprah singing believe Shoot, any live performances of Whitney in the late 80s early 90s
Definitely my top 5 Whitney performance!! She sang her mf’n face off WHILE SITTING DOWN……..SITTING DOWN!!! She’s called “The Voice” for a reason!!! May she continue to R.I.P.
I watched this live growing up and i can't even hear the studio version anymore of this song.... My absolute favorite Whitney live performance, perfection
Wow, vocal gymnastics🔥 What range and style. There will never be another Whitney, miss her tremendously ❤ Loving the Music Reactions, back where it all started!
Now Jack don't you go reacting to all my favs in one night😭😭. Omg I actually remember watching this performance on the night the awards show presented on TV. I was about 8 years old and sitting in the living room with my grandma. I just knew I was singing my lil ole heart out lol. Miss Whitney was one of my earliest music inspirations🫶🏾. Thank you for this amazing reaction.
This Woman!!!! My goodness! I get chills when I hear her voice. Miss her so much. What a gift (musically and just her as a person) she was to the world. So thankful I got to see her in real time.
She slayed it like the great dragonslayer she was, and that was sitting down too! Take notes people, how difficult that is sitting and expending that amount of energy through those folds at this degree! She’s just legendary!! Can someone tell me why Rolling Stones has her listed as number 34 out of 100 greatest singers?? Put her at number one where she belongs, put Aretha at number two!
🧐 What the heck is wrong with that audience? Acting as if they're at a funeral, when they should be standing on top of their seats giving Whitney a standard ovation, and yelling Bravo!
You gotta know your audience man. This was at the MTV Movie Awards in 1996-if it wasn’t hip hop or rap then they weren’t really interested. They missed out on a phenomenal vocal masterpiece because they wanted to hear about b**ches and h*es. But Whitney still sung beautifully. Now it’s considered one of her many many many most memorable live performances.
Man, I remember watching this live in 96 at my Trailer Home in Allenhurst, Georgia. Great times. The radio stations waisted no time getting this over the airwaves. #LowCountry Whitney was a Monster when she was right.
She is a true legend as there are so many performances of her live i remember. When Whitney sings its personal on songs like this and you feel her words and pain.
Im sorry but I challenge anyone to find a performance that tops this one. Whitney just slays all singers past, present and future without trying and while seated. THE ABSOLUTE GOAT OF GOATS! Ive heard all the arguments, I don't care, lol, Whit forever.
This is my favorite song from the waiting to exhale soundtrack you should react to the original from the soundtrack written and produced by babyface himself and sung by whitney Houston herself she was also co-producer on the soundtrack too see some people didn't know that some people did
She sound so amazing. I wouldn't say prime Whitney, maybe 90 - 92 was prime Whitney. During her I'm Your Baby Tonight & The Bodyguard soundtrack. I think during the time of this performance it was noticeable the quality of her voice had started to decline. I could be wrong, so yall correct if I am. But you know her vocals were so top tier that she still sound better than most if not all. I believe her concert in Japan in 91 she was sick but she still sound great. Another great song request, thanks Eugene.🌟 I enjoyed the reaction Jack.
Yep, you're pretty much on it. Many say her peak prime was about '91-'94. But after the heavy touring from the Bodyguard era, her voice went into decline. But like you said she had such a phenomenal gift, and technique to where the damage wasn't noticeable for many years later.
Im sorry a prime isnt 3 years its way longer then that…. Her prime is 83 to 2000 if we being honest…. because her tone got darker and she had alot more cracks in her voice doesnt mean it was a decline because yall dont even have proof of a decline wtf….
Check out her live performances of her IWALY live in Argentina on the bodyguard tour, vocal prime, she's in a brown blazer she killed it, it's one of her best. This song here was from the waiting to exhale, baby face worte it years earlier for her but she could not find the meaning, they show it in the movie as well but she later talked about it when the song came out. She finally wanted to record it obviously we know why! But check out the studio version for urself it's also incredible!
She was in her second phase of her career she was from 1996 until about 2001 singing more with and R&B style her voice had choice from a perfect pitch to a deeper more edgy sound ...but I wouldn't call this prime whitney ..prime whitney was 1983 to 1993
Jack plz plz react to Whitney Houston video of the song..Don't cry For Me. It is fantastic! She emotes next level. It made me cry😢cry. It is that good and she looks radiant and stealth in that beautiful blue gown she is wearing. She sings her butt off as usual. Ty Jack.
This song came from the "Waiting to Exhale" soundtrack, so I'm assuming Babyface had something to do with the Lyrics. I'm pretty sure he did, actually.
@@jaquen1977 Come to think about it, Yes. Beyonce is an exception, though. The twins sent her cords to her brain. She sounds like an angel @ Renaissance “SING, BITCH😫😫😫”
These are not Whitney Houston’s best vocals if you want to hear her best those are attached to white song. Oh, I’m every woman and I am telling you are too songs that was she was at her vocal peak because she was pregnant.

One of my favorite performances from the Voice Whitney Houston
The UNDISPUTED QUEEN.
I watched this live growing up and i can't even hear the studio version anymore of this song.... My absolute favorite Whitney live performance, perfection
Jack been following for 3 years, but lemme tell you Whitney is my FAVORITE and this performance is THAT!!
This was like a showcase of Whitney’s whole career summed up in a song
How so?
This vocal performance is signature Whitney. Her runs, belts, tone….everything to love about her is showcased
I will say it now and forever, NOBODY can touch Whitney in her prime, ESPECIALLY LIVE! She never sang the same song twice! The VOICE!❤❤❤
It’s not her prime but it’s still the greatest the voice!
Wow, vocal gymnastics🔥 What range and style. There will never be another Whitney, miss her tremendously ❤ Loving the Music Reactions, back where it all started!
When Babyface is connected to it, the magic always comes out. Whitney killed this. ❤❤❤

Thank you for the kind words!
She was on point at this stage of her career! Incredible. Unmatched talent right there!
That’s another Babyface monster production and writing! But NOBODY brings a song to life like that woman. RIP Vocal Supreme!
Anyone Babyface writes for brings his music to life like nobody's business.
No matter how many times I watch this performance I always run back the part you did a couple of times!
That part was definitely something special🔥
One of her best live performances!! Love this song is so good
Whitney in her prime...simply perfect.
Babyface wrote it...maybe the greatest lyricist EVER.
She was the best! I miss this woman so much
Whitney was the best singer in the world RIP 💐 Queen 🙏🏼

Babyface wrote this song. This is from the Waiting to Exhale movie soundtrack. He wrote all the songs on that album.
Ok and????

This is my favorite live performance of her's.
This one was definitely special🔥

That run on 5:54 is mean as hell, she glided down so many damn notes about 10 notes I counted!
I love your reaction videos. Your style and approach make me react to your reactions. Which is kinda the point. Thanks for all your content!
Other singer just sing, Whitney gives you an experience! That’s why she’s the goat 🐐 ❤
Why Does it Hurt so Bad is the one and only original. It's written by Babyface. On the "Waiting to Exhale" Soundtrack.
One my favorite performances from Whitney Houston ❤
Yes more whitney..love her live performances❤❤
There will NEVER BE ANOTHER 😢
RIP Whitney Houston!
THE VOICE..... PERIOD!!!!!!!

Classic Whitney. What else can be said?😄
The one and only, the voice !
What a song when one is going through this. She sang from soul and showcased so much pain we have all felt.

The GOAT!!!!!!
She is my fav and Whitney live is unparalleled! Look forward to more reactions of her, you do them well 😊
I love that your doing Whitney again!! I would actually say this is after her peak but still supreme!!!
WHAT was suppose to be her "peak"?(?)...
@@SHaqq-wv9hn I would say between 85 and 95 but I guess its a matter of opinion
I saw her 2000 and she didn't really have a peak. She was always phenomenal.
I agree@@rudolphmcneill515, she was always phenomenal. I seen her in 99 and 2010. I just happen to think she was more phenomenal before this

Amazing!!! Can't go wrong with Queen Whitney. SUBSCRIBED!
I highly recommend watching Her 1988 or 1990 “Greatest love of all” live performances.
It won’t disappoint!

UK.. So lucky brought up with the best Whitney Houston .Mariah . 😅
Mind blowing.. and this wasn’t even her prime.
She was 33 in 96. 33 is nobody’s prime, but this will always be precious♥️♥️♥️
