For anyone looking to save even more on Mavic Air 2/2S batteries, I found two brand new Mavic Air 2/2S batteries on ebay for $194. I also found a pair of brand new Mavic Air 2/2S batteries with a full extra set of props. for $198 on ebay; both with free shipping. The only difference is they don't come with the retail packaging. Don't worry, I checked everything out and these are brand new, actual DJI batteries and props. I don't know, but the packaging may be how they get around MAP so they can sell them at a lower price.
I just bought an Air 2 (not S) on Amazon listed as "used" - the secret password was "package will be damaged" - code for open box. Received completely new Air 2 Fly More kit, never activated, batteries never cycled all 100% sealed - only the box seals cut. Saved $150 off new price, and got a new Air 2. I planned to return it if it had any issues. Nope. Better price than DJI refurbished! Did I mention it was all new, nothing touched or missing? 😊 Now for the Freewell Filters (step up from DJI ones) skin kit, prop holders etc
@@HalfChrome Yep. A 1 inch sensor is desirable, but I'm not a content creator or even semi-pro..I'm a hobby flyer so the S is over qualified (& priced) for me. No side sensors either way.
Would highly highly recommend 32GB RAM to anyone looking to regularly process 5.4k video. Computers dont like to run at 100% usage so they will throttle performance and cache to stay well below that if possible. I regularly see 13-14GB of used system ram while working on 5.4k footage and with a couple google tabs open. This is in addition to ~4GB VRAM usage on my 3080. Also nothing less than a fairly new i7 processor, i9 even better. My rig is i9-12900k/3080Ti/32GB DDR5 RAM, and to export 10 minutes of 4k video (thats right, not even 5.4k) using double pass, it took my i9 about 30 minutes to finish using all 24 threads.
Just got my Air2s today combo package. What's your thoughts on the landing gear that can carry a pound and drop it? Definitely want iPad mount nicer with bigger screen. Do you sell the 3d ones you made?
Great information as always. In the video you mention that posting to You Tube would be a reason to need a 107 license. For clarification, I use You Tube as a great way to share and view my drone videos but I do not monetize my channel. Under that circumstance, I do not believe there is benefit to getting a 107 license. Those who use You Tube and monetize their channel need a 107 since the use of their drone generates a form of income. Is correct?
At the end of the video you talk about part 107. I've studied, and I believe I'm ready to take my test, but I really don't know the procedure. If you could explain step by step what we need to do to obtain a part 107 license that would be awesome. Love your RUclips channel I tell all my friends.
@@HalfChrome yep, I've been there kind of confusing, I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way, a step-by-step video would be very much appreciated to me and a lot of other folks. Thanks for your response.
Thanks for info, Slainte ☘️ from Ireland 🇮🇪

Nice to see Tony Romo took up a new hobby flying drones after retirement.

Nice video waiting on my 2s to show up can’t wait air2 army out
Thanks for the info
De nada
Legs can hurt the battery life a lot though being very light weight. Use landing pads instead ;)
I think I recognize that Portillo’s in the firehouse Arc V section. Hahaha
Love Portillos
Nice vid.

You’ll need to go on the FAA website to start.
