Is there a way to get in contact with you to have a bolt bent? I have a spare Spanish M43 Mauser bolt coming the mail today and was looking at having it bent for my Cetme FR-8. How much would you charge for the service?
NO NO you have to use a cutting torch big enough to cut a bridge in half & then overheat it as much as possible, be sure to get some impurities in there while your at it 😉 nice job ! These other clowns are just that clowns aint that hard to heat a peice of metal and bend it . . . Properly
Always fascinating watching an expert at work. Thanks.
Thanks for your support!
Have you tried using a magnetic induction heater as a means to better focus the heat by chance? I’d love to hear your thoughts
Haven't done a bolt handle in years. I like this method. The one i was taught in school involved piecutting it, bending then oxywelding it back solid.
Thanks for watching and your comment, I haven't tried that, but it makes sense as a good option.
Looks good.
Thanks!
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
I have not. But This method works perfectly fine for me, so I haven't tried an alternative method. If I had a heater though I would give it a shot.

Yea I couldn't find my cutting torch :) It doesn't take a whole lot. Just the right amount of heat in the correct places. Thanks for your comments.

@@steveparker8723 Thank you! The words escaped me during the video.
Completely wrong procedure! All gun smith with reputation make a half cut , bend cold and tig weld. Sorry
I disagree. Sorry
