    Martin, I just want to say thank you for being such a wonderful mentor. I might have discovered my passion for design late in life, but if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be so motivated to keep going and keep learning. Thank you very much for everything you do!

    I've been using Illustrator for 18 years and learnt some amazing tricks in this tutorial. The transform each function, had no idea that existed and also the wand tool, I never use it, usually use the select menu. For your vector nodes, if you opt+click and drag the node point, you can get perfectly straight and equidistant anchors on both sides which lock in at a straight line.

    These really are some fantastic tips and the result looks awesome!
    Just this weekend I was playing around with blends while creating a theme for a stack of playing cards.
    I was painstakingly copying and adjusting the color of each part of the design. At the same time i was wondering if there wasn't an easier way to do this. Thank you for showing how to recolour a design and how to adjust the thickness of the 'lines' of the final design. I would love to see a tutorial or tips on design using perspective.
    Have you used the perspective grids already? What cool ways can you suggest for creating a design with these lines?

    for older version of illustrator you can use Shift+c instead of Alt when redefine the curves after blend operation.

    Hi,
    I'd like to know how to turn only the Blend Design into outline when pressing ctrl Y.
    When I do it the whole thing (including the artwork) is turned into outline and that makes it harder for me to align the anchor points into the blended text.
    Thanks !

    • @nuhadyusuf

      Sami Bujah it is because the background is an imported picture and the other artwork are hidden “turn off the eye icon” so you can focus on the part shape you are working on

    Why not gradient? Blend makes the work flow slower.

    • @izvarzone
      @izvarzone 4 года назад

      I like method from this video more, because it allows to put color exactly where you want, with gradient slider it's more difficult.
      Gradient Annotator doesn't work for strokes only for fills.
      You can blend different shapes, dont have to be circles. And then scale/rotate them and get new results. Can get more beautiful results than with width tool for stroke.
