I got tired of what he would do in all his numbers, hopping around aimlessly and flinging arms and legs everywhere. To be fair it wasn't just him it was that irritating choreography of the fifties and sixties.
Most of the people who worked with him adored him. You can watch Leslie Caron talking about working with Gene and how wonderful he was to her. Judy Garland adored him and trusted him completely. You are spreading bullshit.
