Downtown Camera in Toronto for the win for sure, great store for both digital and film needs.
I went through Charles de Gaulle airport last September. I flew to Paris with around 50 rolls of mixed 35mm film and 120. I had no issues at all with hand checks on film. Leaving the United States was easy and then in Paris leaving the airport I asked for a hand check. I asked nicely. I had it organized. All the film in ziplock backs. No plastic containers for the 35mm film. Just made it super accessible. There was no issue leaving Paris.
I did however in a few of the museums in Paris had to put my camera through the x ray scanner in Paris. So that was annoying.
"I don't know anything about film cameras" - JCH 😂
Hi from Italy
I don't really haha
Hey man,
I'm late to this one. SAD to hear about different AP'S incineratIng our Film -but good to know which ones in hopes of avoiding them. Hope all is well!
Thank you for all you do.
No worries!
That's why I like to travel by car and train, no trouble with CT scans :)
Thank for the info
The biggest threat to success of any new film cameras is the cost and availability of film, developing, and printing. Hopefully Pentax is successful enough to enough film producers to ramp up production and distribution.
Indeed. It is an ongoing process, but I think that with the manufacturers making cameras, film companies will ramp up production.
Great stuff, thanks. Please post the name of the Taiwan repair shop.

@@japancamerahunter Thank you so much!
RUclips gave me no indication you were going live and I have notifications on….
Sorry, this was on instagram.
Downtown Camera represent!
Hello do you still send newsletter emails ? As since many months I did not received any ?
I am afraid I don't. I have not had time to send one for a while now. Sorry.
Bellamy, a new "Pentax" camera sure. But I can get a LX with a 50mm f1.8 for 300-350 Eur. How about that. (Let alone a Nikon F3 and many more) .....
You are really missing the point here.
@@japancamerahunter True, from your angle 100%. I just see it differently. I would encourage Pentax to revive repairs on certain bodies. Different way to look at it. An other way to promote our film photography community.
@@euroyank860 The thing is we need new cameras to keep the industry going. I think if Pentax can pull this off then there would be scope for more resources, such as repairs and perhaps even a new range of lenses. I remain ever hopeful.
