Unfortunately Spiderwick takes so many liberties it’s virtually unrecognizable as an adaptation. And even not compared to the books, it’s pretty flat and boring. 😕

R.L. Stine is perfect for a adaptation. The source material is kind of young but older fans will feel nostaligic, it's perfect! I can wait for more!
