Nice. I just purchased a 1952 today. Was a grain cleaning truck. Sit under a barn for 60 years. Paid 500$ for it. Factory paint just a little surface rust. It’s getting Dodge 1 tone axles and a Cummins 12 valve.

i too have a '52 1 ton (3800) in great shape. getting ready to drop a '72 250 engine in it. the 216 smokes so bad, you can't see the car behind you. also going with a late model rear end so , hopefully, it will go faster than 45 mph. nice truck you have there!

The wife and I saw you driving at the railway crossing at the 8 the concession road that day! The camera on the tripod caught my attention before I saw the truck. My grandfathers 1/2 ton 1952 Chev still is around but not as nice shape as yours. Nice video of Scenes of Glengarry. Some video of in the cab and under the hood would be nice to see. Thank you very much for a good video.

Nice looking truck. I like the dually like this one or the 1 ton with a stake bed. If you had made the bed a bit longer it would make the symetry perfect and more bed space.

Beautiful '52 one-ton, and nice job on the video. Sorry for being such a stickler for detail, but for God's sake, please reset the steering wheel so that the spokes are properly aligned. It's off by a whole 90 degrees. The center spoke should be pointing straight down in vertical position, while the remaining two in horizontal position.

@@RopchanTVarts You're welcome, and thank you for your reply. Doesn't the top end of the steering shaft just have splines where you just lift the wheel off, rotate to aprox correct position, then reset on the shaft, and cinch down again? I saw another video of some Elvis impersonator dude doing a demo drive in his restored '50 3100 pickup, and had the same issue except his wheel was even worse than yours! This is the kind of stuff that true vintage car enthusiasts notice right away because it sticks out like a sore thumb! Not passing judgment here, but I wish that people posting these demo drive videos would make sure that the steering wheel is properly installed and aligned. If not aligned, then don't shoot an interior video while driving.

    I have a 52 Chevy like yours.
So, when I bought mine it had 18 inch tires and wheels. I needed a front drum for it. I was assuming my truck was a 1 ton. When we ordered the drum it was too small. So we ordered a drum for a 1 1/2 ton and it was too big.
    🤔
Parts guy and me were scratching our heads. Turned out I have a 1 1/4 ton 52 Chevy. Ever heard of that?
What size wheels and tires do you have.
    What's the difference between a Chevy 3100 and a 3800

@@RopchanTVarts the one I am looking at is in NC and it runs. I'm in Florida so I will have to trailer it down here and get the tag and register it. Yours is beautiful!
