My husband bought me a creeper just for that for clipping minis. My Ferrier uses to sit on when he trims the minis. It’s awesome.
I love helping my daughter slick shear her show steer. It's so cool seeing the color on him change. We use cooling spray on the clippers to clean the blade out and to help cool off the blade too. She just finished him yesterday and showing him this coming week. Gonna be bitter sweet since this is her last year to show. I hope the bath helped Karen relax and release the hostage.

Put oil on those clippers before you get started and during the grooming as well. This helps keep the clippers cooler. I heard this from a professional U-tube dog groomer.

I have white hair now and I use purple shampoo to strip out the yellowing. Prob is if I use full strength very often, it does pick up a purple tint!

IMO Miniatures look so much better with the long flowing tails. We kept our horse Magic's tail braided all the time except for when he was in shows. It dragged on the ground behind him for about 18 inches. I would wash his tail and mane really good. Comb them out and let them dry good. Then I would braid them. Magic's tail even braided would drag the ground a couple of inches. So I would lay the lower part of his tail up on his tail. Then I would vet wrap it good. His tail was always braid and his mane about half the time.

They do a lot of yawning and butt rubbing as counter pressure when getting close. Having had 2 back labors and sunny side up babies, I get it 😂 Flehmen like large horses with impending labor and of course flanks sweating and parking out.

Bath time is MUCH easier if you dilute the shampoo in warm water in another bottle then spray that on it makes moving and spreading the shampoo and the rinsing off of the shampoo LOADS easier because there isn’t a concentrated blob of shampoo to deal with.
