Hey CornStars! I am an Uber driver in Chicago. I picked up a family from Iowa. After they told me they were from Iowa I asked if they knew the CornStars. The dad said yes I work for Kinzie and they came to visit! Thought that was cool!
Thnx for braving the cold to make video. If you win lottery, 100 x 240 cold storage for all machinery, 80 x 120 bldg for comb. Shop, break room, BB court, offices, his and hers bathrooms, oh yeah, newer semis, trailers, harvest equip., 2, 620 quads. What did I forget? Finish siding, nail on front porch on Coles house. Giant grain storage, covered drive over grain dump, heated scale house. That sounds like a good start.
Cole. I absolutely love the videos. From number crunching to walkthroughs about each equipments operations. Love seeing them and may the lord be with all of you keeping you safe.
I love reading the comments and seeing other ppl loving this family like I do . My son in laws owns a truck and hauls for different farms from south Iowa . I live in southeast Missouri and it’s all farm land around me . Cotton and corn along with beans .
Good one Daddy Cornstar! Nice camera work in this one. Thanks for telling us what you're thinking when you check the corn, and for showing us how you improvised to get that door up. It's like being in a master class!
I like your dad a lot, man. He lightens my spirits. I know I've said this before but I was born in 1994 and I really appreciate you guys. You should take after him, he's good people. Tell him to remain true to the faith. Trying times can be difficult.
I’d love to hear what RUclips channels the Cornstarch family enjoys watching in the down time. Especially if they are smaller channels. Woodworking? Lawn Care? Cooking? Other farming families?
We are new to the channel and just absolutely love following the day to day activities. We find it amazing that you can remember all the things you need to do and where everything is. Happy New Year to all the Cornstars.
I thank our God that your videos come in just when I'm feeling down with all of the things that are going on with our country. Thank you Cornstar family, love you and your down to earth living. God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏
You put in a hard day DC. I think you're doing fantastic at managing the camera and showing so much of what you are doing. When the lights are all turned off and it's dark outside, do ya'll have enough light to see where you're going? Don't want anyone to fall. Here in North Central AR, we're supposed to be getting some heavy rain and maybe some sleet. Ya'll are going to be hit hard. Stay safe. Hope you all have a happy New Year and may God bless your families and keep you all safe.
Great Job Daddy Cornstar! Also can totally get where Cole gets his corny sense of humor!!!! You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel! Wish I had night vision eye balls. Gotta love you!
You don't have to be a blood related to be family. People come together when there is a need big or small. Big thumbs up DC, your taking care of the farm. Loved the video.
Daddy Cornstarch do you watch Trent and Allie? They are building a small place up in the mountains in Utah. Trent and a friend are doing almost all the work themselves. They just finished getting it enclosed and will be starting to work inside in a couple of weeks. They are living on the property in a 20 year old camper that they totally restored and winterized themselves. Allie does all the filming and is the clean up “crew”. They are a lovely young couple with a work ethic and values that you would appreciate.
You're doing a really good job on the videos Papa Cornstar! And also on the farm of course. Talking about walking around in the dark, reminded me that I recently bought some dusk to dawn lightbulbs so I don't have to always turn the porch lights on at night and then try to remember to turn them off the next morning. I'm so happy that they work as they said they should. (Not that anyone is interested, but it made me happy though lol.)
Who needs a young Cornstar...when you have a mature, old school farm smart, not sitting editing all hours, getting real stuff done by himself... ADULT CORNSTAR. Yup DC is the man.
Use chapstick or some light wax on the zipper of coats and overalls to keep them going smoothly. I use that on my heavy canvas coat and it’s been working for over 10 years now.
You know how it is ..if your not dirty you haven't been doing any thing .If equipment doesn't get broken, you haven't been using it. It's a natural process ..sort of comes with the territory ...Oh I like to watch that cabin building too !!! oh and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family !!! Stay warm and dry ..
I guess Cole is away on his skiing trip - sure enjoyed Cooper and DC making me smile! I'm so encouraged by DC's ability to start the day being happy and enthusiastic. Such a good example. I still have 6 days until I go back to work and I sure hope I get my batteries recharged before then! It's been a heck of a year and I was beyond burned out when we closed for the holidays.
You are all family and I look forward to seeing you all every day, Daddy cornstar always cracks me up when he try’s to explain stuff. It always makes my day when I see a new post ya all take care.
Just a big thanks for all the enjoyable and fun videos. Thanks for including all of us. And here's hoping that the new year will be safe and healthy for everyone, fans included. - P -
My husband can never catch up on the stuff breaking. Last project, my key wouldn't go into the ignition. Took it apart and had to call a lock guy. $400 later. It starts now.
@@karenrainy304 I think we all do too, but the last several weeks when Cole was in videos he would only come out and work once the rest of the family had gone inside. I hope this isn't the case, but it seemed like he had distanced himself pretty far from the family. It has been strange from what the videos used to be

Rubber bar soap on your zipper or an old candle keep it from getting stuck, that's also another reason why I don't wear overalls in case you have to go potty and can't get out.
I love your videos. Thanks to your videos now I know why the farmers wait to harvest the corn and soybeans. My husband got me one of your hoodies for Christmas and I love it.

I know what it's like with equipment issues. I have had a few. I even got somewhat caught up on the channels I watch. Even added a few. I love farmers and farming. I've only had a garden, but want to grow into some kind of farm. Hope the week is full of joy and happiness.
Great video Daddy Cornstar, Cole has learned a lot from you. Long may these videos continue. A belated Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Healthy New Year to you and yours. God Bless.

I love Daddy Cornstar and his wisdom. That is so great he still runs home to his wife after all those years of marriage. Family goals!!!

Listening to your dad always reminds of my dad who passed back in ‘93. Happy new year
Positive attitude says a lot about a person. DC you’re a good man and an inspiration to us all.
I enjoyed this video more than most. I like watching Daddy Cornstar without all the breaks that usually happen jumping between family member clips.

When cooper holds onto the garage door. The music. LOL such great editing and timing. Had me rolling.

Daddy Cornstar is amazing. When something goes wrong it doesn’t even phase his mood. The guy is always positive about everything.
That awkward moment when your dad becomes the star of your RUclips channel.

Totally agree, I like Cole but all he does is obsess with cleaning.
