Am I the only one that felt like BJ was listening to a song and Asia was listening to a therapist/motivational speaker? It was kinda trippy to have have them sitting right next to each other and having 2 TOTALLY different experiences. You could actually see something awaken inside Asia as she was watching and hanging onto every word that Em was saying. Just wow.

I relate to this song in a different way. I was in an abusive relationship for almost six years, brainwashed to think nobody would love me the way he did. Made me feel like I wasn't enough for him, but nobody else would want me. I had to guts to leave him, no matter how much I loved him. And I will never let anyone abuse or control me ever again.

Asia my friend, I feel you girl. I been through some stuff in my life, including the kinda stuff you brought up in this video. You and I are survivors. And everything we accomplish is worth 10x what those who haven't had the same struggles have accomplished. This is why I have such respect for Eminem. He been through a worse childhood than even I had and look at what he turned that into. He done raised up some beautiful, successful children on top of inspiring so many people and gaining such a level of success. If you haven't seen the interview he did on Hot Boxing with Mike Tyson, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Incredibly inspirational.

I was watching other channel (the dads- scriptwork) and they were talking how Em puts everything up front for anyone to see and when he does that other people who listen to his songs or reacts to them do it to. Asia, you had me tearing up. I’ve been through the same experiences. I’m 56 and finally my mother is letting all her secrets slip because she’s sliding into dementia. My two eldest daughters bought into her lies now they’re confronted with how much they were lied to. I only decided a year ago to not give af. Hardest decision of my life to cut free from the toxic drama. This song hits hard. The depression and anxiety is harder for people to understand when they have loving supportive families. My husband and three of my 5 kids are my world. Family is not always blood too. It’s who is there for you when you’re at your lowest ebb. Love your reactions and channel. Asia, my wife kind of had the same situation and I give you the same respect I give her. It can’t be easy to make that choice but unfortunately sometimes it the best one to make. She tried to say sorry once for not having family that are involved like mine (bigger Italian family lol). I told her she had absolutely nothing to be sorry for. Whatever needs to be done to make her/you happier and healthier is all that matters. This is a weird post for me but just wanted to say you have huge respect from me, BJ as well 👊🏼

You made a couple of good points here Asia, love it. I too had to separate myself from my own mother and brother at the age of 21 and move out, as soon as I did that, things got better for me 🤗. That was in 2010?
Also, my daughter, Arianna Marie, was born in 2014 and passed away in 2015 at just 10 months old. For the longest time, my wife and I pondered having another child or not. Well, we now have a beautiful two year old son, and that took Guts Over Fear honestly for us. We just always had/have that fear of losing another child. Been with my wife since 2006.
