EPIC COMPLEXES - Full Body Dumbbell Workout | EPIC III Day 4

  • A full body workout involving my favourite timing programming; complexes! Perfect form, smooth movements and focus on every single rep to challenge every major muscle group in your body to promote those muscles to grow!
    Each complex will be 3 minutes duration each with 30 seconds in between each!
    Every single exercise will be performed for 10 reps in total! There are only 2 exercises per complex!
    The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg and 8kg!

    Within the first 2 minutes, your arms and chest will be burning! But remember it’s only 3 minutes then it is onto lower body!

      I feel this 100%! So many tunes that are such staples of Caroline’s workouts that when I ever hear em elsewhere, my mind immediately thinks of Caroline! They’re simple enough, but such a significant part of my journey with Caroline and the community.

    Caroline is part of my mindfulness routine. For 30-60min all I think about is the present moment, my form, the music, the sweat dripping down my face. No chance to let your mind wander anywhere else! 😂

      I completely agree! The pink and electric blue for EPIC 3 looks amazing. I would love some EPIC 3 merch in these colours and with the bay wreath. It would look gorgeous and I would definetely purchase it.

    Friday full body workout is always a highlight of the week and given what we’ve had so far this week I think we’re in for a super challenging session! Complexes are always tough...but I enjoy doing them...a real feeling of power in pushing on through the full three minutes! I’m sure we’ll all rise to the challenge and smash the workout!     PS...Hi Caroline and everyone...just finished! What another intense session this was! As I only have 8 kg weights I used my band for the first two complexes then used two dumbbells when Caroline dropped to one heavy one! It was tough...but I enjoyed pushing on through the complexes! It’s such a great way to build endurance! I found the complex format made the time fly by! You are counting reps and before you know it you are into the last minute of the complex and almost finished! Hope you all enjoyed the workout as much as I did and have a lovely relaxing weekend Caroline and everyone! Matthew

    This one was absolutely wonderful. Challenging with the occasional need for a break, but not that overwhelming that I couldn’t go on. The hammer curls were surprisingly challenging! 🥵 And my push up game is still weak 😂 but I finished feeling so accomplished. Ready to take on the rest of my day 💪

    Not gunna lie, getting through the finisher was extremely tough ahah. This workout definitely tested my endurance and made me realize I have a quite a ways to go before I'm able to complete each circuit with little to no rest in between the exercises within the circuit. But hey, I'm up for the challenge!

    I am in love with how I feel after these workouts. I don’t just feel strong physically but somehow mentally as well?! Even though I’m struggling to get through, I feel amazing after I see Caroline clapping and waving at the end. 😌

    Complexes are very challenging as they keep the muscles burning constantly. You’ll feel exhausted but powerful too 🦋 The grip & forearm strength will be tested!! Let’s get those complexes uncomplicated by pushing through with a smile 🤩

    Day 4 smashed! 👊🏻 I throughly enjoyed this. Complexes are always a great challenge..especially full body!! I really enjoyed the renegade rows to pushups and staggered RDL to staggered squat. My forearms were on fire thru most of this workout! 🔥 Really liked alternating between upper body and lower body and doing 10 reps of everything. It was great Caroline. Perfect way to finish up my week. Can't wait til Sunday's first Epic lll HIIT! Let's go!!😉 Hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend. See you all Sunday!🤩

    There’s festivals in India, mainly my state from today! I’ll try to squeeze in this or just do it tomorrow! Just went through the workout in the description box I’m very exited! Always been loving dumbbell HIITs and it involves complexes; the time is gonna fly❤️

    Complexes are more about my mental fitness than my physical. It's so easy to psych myself out after one full set. Love that this program works our minds as much as our bodies!

    When Caroline actually mentions that the workout is going to be tough in the first introductory sentence, I am thinking to myself, ok Caroline we already know, do you have to scare me more 😀. It’s a great way to mentally prepare us and thank you Caroline. I somehow love complexes to be honest and I will challenge myself as the elevated one 😀.       @@wendiweramundi2923 When I do a workout, if I am doing the workout right, I am at the edges of my ability, its an painful experience.
      At the start its Yeah! Five minutes in, its Oh Gosh!, 10 minutes in, its absolute agony, its only after 15-20 minutes I begin to accept this is how its going to be and I need to finish this.
      In the end, I enjoy the fact I finished it,

    EPIC III is no joke 👀🥵🥵🔥🔥💪 Caroline has increased the level, but it makes us feel like NOTHING CAN STOP US 🔥💪💪🏋️‍♀️🏋️❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 We are on FIRE ♨️♨️❗️😍
    Edit: after doing this workout: I was already out of breathe after 27%, totally blind with my own sweat dripping into my eyes after 48%, felt like a Beast at 73%😁 , saw 84% remaining for a VERY LONG period of time😅 And almost died at 95%… But I made it😅🔥

      @@myna2325 Hi Myna...Thank you so much for your lovely words! Yes I’ve brought resistance bands plus my 8 kg weights with me! We are staying in a cottage which is quite old but has a new extension at the back with a perfect room for exercise! So I’m keeping up with the workouts and enjoying myself! We are having a lovely holiday too...nice weather and Stiffkey in Norfolk where we are staying is a lovely village by the coast! Have a lovely day! Matthew

Yes wouldn’t a chance for Caroline’s community to meet be just so wonderful! I am so jealous of you walking in the Swiss mountains! I think my favourite exercise of all is mountain walking and I have had many happy holidays in Switzerland and Austria!     Probably the hardest Friday full body workout for me! So intense I was dropping sweat since the very beginning. I started ambitiously with 9 kg and I was surprised that I managed to push through the diamond press too keeping the same weight…even though some exercises where paired in a way that I couldn’t keep my maximum weight with both I still found the session incredibly challenging! Well done Girvanators!

    Posting this a few days after having done the workout. After Epic 1, 2, and Heat, I thought this would be a breeze. It was not easy and I was glad I was so wrong and that Caroline still keeps her workouts intense :) Simply because this is a 3-minute complex does not mean that this is easier than Day 44 of Epic 1 😁
    By the time I got to the squat to press, I was drenched and was using my every ounce of mental and physical strength to not put the dumbbells down!

    OMG….. usually week 1 is the week to ease you into the program. If this week is anything as what to expect these next couple of week, we are in for it!     Caroline, I want to say I have been loving this program! Also, I absolutely love how you include a stretching routine to it. I always say I will stretch after workouts but forget or get lazy.     At 1st I was going to say wow!!! That was hard and amazing! About halfway through the workout But.. then at the end of the workout, and that beautiful song came on, I broke into tears😭 Like actual crying for a good 30 seconds, At just peer Ahh, In myself for Just showing up today, to star and finish the awesome workout that Caroline put out I told myself I wanted to do this and I didn't even think I'd make it today because I am not consistent or I don't accomplish things (But I did!!!😁) This just made me wanna go even further that feeling Just push me that extra mile! today I am very proud of myself, And I have the beautiful, amazing, wonderful, Caroline to thank for that💪🤜🤟❤ For encouraging me, keeping me going and making it loads of fun to work out with her, She really engages with her audience, I just love it❤ I can't believe I cried I was just so happy I did something I finished it I really hope I can make it to the end,🙏 I believe I can Thank you Caroline.

    First week of Epic III was amazing! I enjoyed every workout so, so much! Lovely new colours, new music. Very demanding and intense exercises... I love it!!!!     LOVE complexes and this was awesome to strenghten those forearms and lift the 15 KG. Caroline just swings it up, haha I twist and try and eventually lift the right side. The left side will have none of it. Will keep trying though! I enjoyed this one tremendously, everything about Epic 3 is so upbeat, from the warm up to the sneakers, what a joyride Caroline, I FEEL SO HAPPY! Thank you!

    Omg that finisher was brutal 🥲 I really pushed myself though and feel so much better for it. Went down to 1 x 15lb dumbbell for the push press and the squats (honestly glad I did cause ouch lol), and managed to fit in 3 rounds of 10 reps for each. Thank you so much Caroline for this killer workout. I feel sweaty and accomplished and so so grateful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    You know it was an extra sweaty workout when your eyes are stinging from sweat running into them. Grip was definitely challenged today, had to set down the weights a couple of times, but kept on going. Lots of my favourite moves in this one: staggered RDLs, staggered squats, curtsy, backward lunges, chest press. Did the jumping jacks add-on too but modified somewhat due to depleted energy! For those liking the “old” music, that’s a good one for you!

    im a little bit emotional today, again Im going to write this down. I remember how I start your workout with my 8lbs and 5lbs weight. and now I’m in my 21lbs dumbbell, each !. also, my creatine journey with all your workout really change my muscle mass, is not only my glutes grow, i can see my shoulder too, those lateral raises really helps tho. and I remember how I used to take a long pause before continue the workout, some workout, I can say most, I barely/not pause !! I started the epic program with epic endgame around august 2023, which I shouldn’t. I admit, I didn’t research deeply. and after epic endgame. I started my epic 1,2 and now 3. I probably and highly consider to finish it with epic end game. during epic 1 and 2, my program is to get bulking, now epic 3, I’m on my calorie deficit. again, I’m so happy with all my achievement with you caroline. Thank you so much

    Oh you were not kidding! This one was tough but I smashed it! I had to drop to lighter weights but my muscles were still working hard and on fire! It flew by because of the complexes format, and also because of alternating each complex from upper to lower. Well done Caroline !

    The first complexes killed me instantly! used 8kg pair and damn did my hands hurt all throughout the workout. Had to even drop it at some point because it was getting a little overbearing for my hands. Couldn't do the optional add on as the workout itself already drained me. The squat to presses were intense too! 3 mins felt like FOREVER! But I am still proud of myself for pushing through. Thank you Caroline!

    For the last couple months I have been selecting your videos based on the muscle group I focused on each day mon-Fri and recently decided to dive in to Epic III and follow along! I’m so happy I did! You have really put together a great program! I thought after day 1 I would be sore as hell and unable to do day 3 glutes and abs!     Wow, wow, wow!!! What an incredible session. I was dripping in sweat by the renegade rows. You can only imagine how drenched I was by the end. I really struggled with the upper body portion towards the end as I increased my weights and gave it my all during each rep. I struggled during the Press portion of the finisher but towards the last minute I had a surge of energy and gave it 130%. I hope my arms cooperate with me this weekend.
    What an amazing session - happy Friday all and enjoy your rest day tomorrow. We sure earned it today! :)

    I can't believe I had never even heard of complexes before Caroline and now they're like my favorite thing ever! Such a powerful feeling when you finish! Especially loved that the finisher was squat to press as that has got to be one of my favorite exercises! I'll be 19 weeks pregnant tomorrow and this was a great workout for me. The only thing I had to modify was the third complex. It is no longer safe on my core to be in a plank position, so I switched it to quadruped rows and then moved my knees back and did knee pushups on the dumbbells. Hope this helps anyone else who is pregnant and is wondering what they need to modify to be safe. Thanks Caroline for another amazing workout!

    Loved today's full body complex workout! I had the optional add on of jumping jack cardio lined up to go afterwards but decided I was tired and sweaty enough already! I think if I want to do any of the add ons I'll need to do them FIRST.

    Absolute EPIC… I felt the challenge in every program this week even Though I am much stronger after following you through Epic II and Heat… although on my own pace in this complex, I was out of breath half way and had to try really hard to keep it in tune with my moves… one good thing I got is when doing flyers, I began to feel the muscles in chest… I am very happy with it as chest and upper back are my targets in next few months… BTW… you sneaker is so cute and bright… 🥰 love it… 🙏 thank you and look forward to seeing you tomorrow…
