Thank God you found the freeze blast. I watched sooo many playthroughs from sooooo many people and they miss it everytime! Purely cause the game never tells you its there and they just expect you to come across it.
I wouldn't mind you do half side missions and half story mode, in fact, you could do side stuff each time the game gives you the opportunity, it is so fun to watch
I'm enjoying your progress but don't underestimate the improvements in the batmobile and weapons are important, don't put yourself through unnecessary hardships, it will be important in the future...Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !!!!
I wonder if the Joker makes an amusing Man-Bat scare prank on Scarecrow, seeing which is worst: the fear toxin, or heart-jumping fright from a figure out of nowhere.😂🤣😁
Armored Brutes require _two_ Special Takedowns to finally knockout, UNLESS: you do a takedown while holding a melee weapon, OR you perform a Power Move with the Batclaw (aka hold the quickfire batclaw instead of a single press, once you buy the upgrade of course).
If you intend to get that riddler trophy with the things you shoot on the wall with the batmobile, look behind you while in the car. There are videos dedicated to that one riddle with hundreds of thousands of views.

You can use triangle to hack the big tanks as well but it's worth the wait because they are really powerful if make them shoot each other when finding the battle too hard and frustrating. You just have to remember it's efficient against them. You'll know what part I'm talking about because I find it very annoying and the Only part I think this game made very long to complete in any mission. Go behind them and hold triangle.

Those videos are so entertaining that 2 eps per week frustrates. There are tons of side missions and dlc's. Can we get more or longer videos? I'm just saying :)
Showing the side missions that are just repeats of the same thing over and over is really dragging this playthrough. Some are unique enough where it is ok like Riddler, Man Bat, Penguin. But firefighters, Firefly, all Militia, opera killer, Two Face banks would be enough to just show first and last part.
