I’m only buying a Weeks and Weeks-related accessories this year. I’m going to stop buying any other size books/covers because I always abandon them in favor of my Weeks in less than a month!
same hahah! a6 never works for me and i always ended up abandoning them, but i really love the weeks size for daily journalling 100%, this year though i have wanted to get a 5 year and since i wasn't a fan of many of the weeks covers, i'm pretty happy with my decision, we'll see when it comes though :D i messy plan in a $10 muji vertical b6 size, so hopefully these two together will be great
I want to thank you. I'm new to the planning community, and your video by far has been the most helpful. I love blue as well. I got the week's spring edition in Japanese. I will see how it works out for me.
Super useful and inspiring Video! I'm using Hobonichi Weeks since the spring edition 2020, but mostly as my portable Planner for my Appointments, Work and such things, just functional. I use the A6 Avec as Kawaii Journal and it gets so chunky, so I need a smaller Book for the Planner I carry around with me in my bag. But I wasn't sure about using the Weeks for 2023 cause i wasted almost all the notes pages in the past ones and thought about a Filofax Pocket as my portable Planner for the next year ... And now, after I saw this video, I have so many new Ideas how I can stay with the Weeks and use it as a whole. I'm a big little bit in love with the Cafe Cover ...
Thank you so much! Kawaii journal sounds so good!! I wish we had more notes pages, you saw my struggle😅 but I will make it work! The Cafe cover is so cute! I love this one as well!
This is my third year using Hobonichis, but I've been watching you all much longer haha. I just posted my reaction to the lineup, and even though I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to get, my only constants are the Weeks and the A5. Loving how you kept up with the blue color palette through the years x
It is very satisfying to seeing all your Weeks together. I have only used it once but am thinking of getting the Eng version to use as my appointment planner for 2023 because I like it's portability. I'm using a Muji B6 for that now & it'd be nice to have a more compact place to do this. I use a Traveler's Notebook for memory keeping & an A6 Hobonichi for a journal now & think I'll stay with that next year.
2022 was my 1st year using Hobonichi weeks, Unfortunately I wasn’t as consistent as I wanted to be. However looking at your progression from when you first started makes me feel like I should give myself and Hobonichi another go for 2023. TYFS❣️✨
I love love love all your blue planners, light blue is my favorite and your collection is sooo pretty! I love how compact it all is. I’m using a wonderland planner for 2022 and ordered a planner and 365 day notebook for next year already. Something about the hobo weeks draws me in though and I have wanted to buy one for a long time. I have not taken the plunge though I obsess over watching hobo weeks videos :) I want to test it out but I know I’m a daily planner person and yes, I fear that I would not have enough notes pages since I love to keep all my random ideas, journaling and all in one planner cover (which right now fits two books).
Thank you, Tanya! Yes, for daily planning might not be the best if you write a lot... I wish the hobonichi weeks had more notes pages! But Auraestelle will launch a hobonichi weeks size daily planner, they said it'll be divided in 2 books. I am curious to see that!!
I loved your video! Your 2023 Hobonichi Weeks looks like a beautiful shade of blue. What is the name of the color? I bought it in the color "Lagoon," but mine looks a lot more teal than yours. Thank you!
Thanks for this. I'm sitting with my weeks and they just make me so happy. I invested in a Sojourner cover this year for mine and am excited to put the Aurora weeks in it for next year 😍
I would love to get the Aurora Day weeks as well. It's gorgeous. I also want to get the One Piece collaboration weeks. I have been using weeks for two years now and I love it.
THANK YOU💙 This video is invaluable, Cecilia! I love seeing your journey in weeks and what you hope to purchase for 2023! I appreciate your time so much! I will definitely be buying weeks, I always purchase the pleather stripe one because it’s so durable, I change my vellums in my weeks often! I am currently using mine as my social media planner, I am tempted to add another for wellness (or put wellness in my passport…🤣). So appreciate you four, off to watch the rest of the ladies❤️
Appreciate the close up view of the English vs Japanese differences. I do use the Weekly to and use it for a food and activity log in the weekly view, weight tracker in the yearly view, and appts in the monthly view. Works out great for me.
I loved this video, Cecilia! 😍 It was so fun to see how you’ve used your Weeks over the years, and it was really helpful to see the comparison between the English and Japanese versions. I’m planning to get one Weeks for 2023 and I’m still trying to decide on which one… the Aurora Duty is gorgeous.🤩 Thank you for organizing this collab - it has been such a fun and lovely experience! 😘💛
Hi! I just discovered Hobonichi. I was able to order the weeks mega and I can't wait till it arrives. What kind of pens do you recommend? Thanks for the very informative video.
Hi! Thank you!! I love to use the jetstream 0.5 or 0.38. They’re ballpoint so quick dry and you can use highlighters if you want. But muji 0.38 also work really good. There are other gel pens that work, but those are my favs😊
I could make a 10 pg. comment about this video! You helped me a lot! I am a also a “Weeksian”, and DEFINITELY use 2 of them per year. (I moved this year and my life has changed a lot, so I how I use has and is changing, too.) I use one for menu-planning (of dinners, but also intermittently I use part of it for a simple log of my personal eating, especially if I am trying to avoid skipping meals or etc.) and the other I am using for self care (I’m not good at things that don’t get done every day. So, for example, I’m trying to wash my hair every third day, so weeks can help me schedule that, and I don’t “worry” about hair-washing too much, the same way that you are worrying about running out of extra pages too much (I totally get it! We don’t run out! There are supplemental slim books we can add! But still, we worry!🥹😭😂🙈) I also want to limit my Hobonichi purchase more this year. The line is so overwhelmingly large; you can get caught up and order too much! I have also ordered just to confirm colors/materials in person-this year I have 4 Weeks but am only using 2! (Using:Peach, Red one; not using: Tiger Bow and tie, Pink Japanese Shrine/Fest B&T.) I’m curious about which you ordered and chose not to use, and why. Because I am not very involved in the community, I had not heard that many are not happy with the lack of neutrals in the Weeks classic. I myself am unhappy with this; I don’t like any of its colors; and I like *all* of the other types of Weeks’ covers colors at least “well enough to buy them”. Your video has me considering getting one of the Weeks English between my (at least) two. I will also get an A6 Avec for a family exchange diary; idk if I will buy any new cover yet. I think maybe the red apple 🍎-named one could be good. The colors are hard to determine; even if it is warm or cool is hard to see from the product pages and editorial of HBN; tho their content is cute and informative in every other way. I like your idea of using vellum for subtle color changes-obviously changing green to red would be harder, but it’s a simple fix that sounds easy to accomplish successfully! I’m going to check the links you recommend, thanks!
Weeksian! love that🤗 so many great ideas!! thank you so much for sharing! I want to use more for my meal planning too! If you want the mega but not super in love with the colors, check Connie's page on Ig if you have IG, if not, let me know and I'll send you some pics she uses. beautiful paper and vellums on top you can't tell what cover was under it. Really beautiful and you can change if you wish💞 here: instagram.com/coco.plans/ For those bright colors you'll need to add a solid white paper or other color on top, like a gift wrap really. I will do it for mine I think. 😹
@@ScientistPlans Thank you! I enjoyed Connie’s IG, but I only saw, or noticed spreads. I also checked her Hobonichi highlights? But again only saw (awesome) spreads. I did not notice any covers other than leather (?) holders that she seems to favor.
Another serotonin boost from watching a hobonichi weeks video 💕✨💖
I’m only buying a Weeks and Weeks-related accessories this year. I’m going to stop buying any other size books/covers because I always abandon them in favor of my Weeks in less than a month!
Same!! I didn't mention this, but I am only buying 2 hobonichi weeks. Last year I got an A6 and didn't use so... not doing this again!

U will love it! I’ve used it for 4 years!
All of the blue covers...thought of you after watching RainbowHolic's video of the lineup. I really like the bread covers..super cute.
I have many options this year🥰💙 The bread cover is so cute!!!
Why are you always tempting me with the Weeks? Hahaha Lovely video as always! Also, I miss the Steiff Hobonichi collab! 💙
* insert meme of night king dancing* 😂 I am here for this🙌🏽 ohh wish Steiff collab was back! So cute!
I want to thank you. I'm new to the planning community, and your video by far has been the most helpful. I love blue as well. I got the week's spring edition in Japanese. I will see how it works out for me.
Thank you so much! I hope you’ll love it😊 and welcome to the community!
Love all the blue weeks! Love your thoughts on how you used to use :]
Thank you, Cindi🥰💙

Hi dear friend! So happy you like it :))) hugs hugs hugs!
Great video, Cecilia! Its so good to be able to see how your planning evolved over the years! The aurora cover is so pretty 😍
Thank you, Gabs! What did you like??
Can’t wait to see 💜 in your future stack videos! 🤣. I love that you love these so much, and that they work so well for you!
thanks, friend! oh yes! I will have more videos for sure 😂

For sure🙌🏽 My first year was just a test and it helped a lot just to get to know the paper, pens that worked in it, and ideas of how to use it😊
@@ScientistPlans so true! ☺️

I really like how you kept everything simple and easy with the weeks planner. Can’t wait to receive mine.
I've used the weeks since 2017 as a financial planner/household chore tracker. I am getting the green mega this year.
oh wow! since 2017! you have a nice collection! thanks so much for watching :)
I would love to get the Aurora Day weeks as well. It's gorgeous. I also want to get the One Piece collaboration weeks. I have been using weeks for two years now and I love it.
