That is different protection. You can have a rise in discharge temperature without a rise in pressure. Example if your return vapor or suction vapor somehow picks up alot of heat back to the compressor. You should use both types if you want the highest type of protection for the equipment.
It does a little as you will have a minor pressure drop across the CRO valve when sizing and selecting. The main purpose for a CPR is to protect the compressor from overloading. Hahahaha i live above a Tim Hortons. Got to honest.....i almost never go there. Not the worst....but definitely not the best coffee either. I'll stick to my Nesspresso machine
Yes it's important scaling
Studio arrangements looks good
Please make a lecture on that how could determine the parameters of compressor as well as refrigeration system for any project ?
Check out the operating envelope video I did with Copeland.
The compressor getting to hot and filter dryer how to fix it
Thanks for the podcasts. What do you think about discharge temperature protection by means of pressure switch rather than contact temperature sensor?

Yes
Hi Trevor
How does a CPR valve affect compressor ratio
It does a little as you will have a minor pressure drop across the CRO valve when sizing and selecting. The main purpose for a CPR is to protect the compressor from overloading. Thanks Trevor
I want to get that experience
Right
Tim hortons great doughnuts
I ate many over the years
It's not enough to determine a condition of a compressor
It might be more than 25 years
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Your very welcome!
Leaf valves
didn't know a mentor to be good looking🥵
Why thank you. Keeping healthy and staying in shape is very important to us at Refrigeration Mentor

After I started learning the way of the bean, I have not turned back.
Compression ratio is too much important
Ok
