Just found your channel as I was thinking of doing sausages n chips in my Actifry tonight - yours looked delicious. Think I will also fry a couple of eggs as the cooking gets towards done, and maybe some bread & butter and a large glass of milk 🙂
Haha thanks for this. I just moved into my first house and my parents gave me their Tefal Actify. I always wondered if I could do sausages in it, now I know. Thanks again.
They tasted incredible!!! I can't believe I've never had this before.. like there was no grease, no fat or oil. it was crispy chips, and it tasted gorgeous! xx
mufu lira yeah we used to use a deep fat fryer and it was so much easier than oven cooking everything but now it just fits brilliant. I’ve just put in chicken with breadcrumbs to make them crispy etc, along with chips - done in 15 Mins!
I really do not see the point in this gadget. It costs a lot of money and takes more time to cook than in the oven. Oven chips already have added fat and most sausages can be cooked in the oven at the same time. The appliance is also bulky and would clutter up your kitchen.
mufu lira thanks for your comment. That’s your opinion about the machine I find that it’s much more healthier since using it compared to using a deep fat fryer. My family find it versatile and are enjoying the creations that have come from it :)
Mufu I love my machine. I do asda smart price chips with no extra oil for about 10 mins and I often do home made ones which have been par boiled with no or just a little squirt if oil. The machine does way more than just chips like stir fry and Bolognese sauce etc. I love fat free pitta crisps which can have spices & herbs added for about 5 mins max with no burning unlike an oven/grill that you have to watch constantly and must be more economical than putting on an oven. Don't mock the machine until you try it.
mufu lira i though this at first but it is not just another chip making product, there is a range of recipes that can be utilised i just think its more common for chips lol, it does all sorts of things there is a crew at work that do all sorts of wonderful meals in it! 😆

@@SamanthaHughes . Hello .I can't wait to cook something in it.😃❤️
They looked well done as well, is it a better alternative to fried chips by taste and cook?

I can certainly see the advantages if you are used to using a deep fat fryer to cook meals.

Mine didnt beep, don't know why.. any help for a newbie? Lol! x
@@SamanthaHughes It depends on the model, I think.
Sausages & Chips done to perfection in my new actifry, thanks for the inspiration. 🌹
Jamie Olivers got some Competition Now ! thumbs up
There should be a beep for when it's done, then it has an automatic "keep warm" setting.
Does anybody know where I can get a basket for this airfryer, Tefal say they don't stock them anymore... I have the same one as Sammie...
fries look good and the sausage as well
great sammie amazing

Cooke the sausages first they hold the heat then cook the chips.

Takes so long that you might as well use an oven.
