When I was a kid, I got so fixated on the Flagg but my parents could not afford it. Mom offered to buy this HQ instead so guess what? I refused... and I regretted it up to this day.
You mention this set works with modern 1/18th scale line today. Back in the days, the scale is 3.75" but today modern figures are 4" tall. I really wish you can share with us how it looks with the modern 4" style figures with this set; by using a mixed of 25th Anni, 50 Anni, Pursuit of Cobra, Rise of Cobra Movie figures, and etc. Some of us don't have vintage action figures if we plan to buy this playset. Anyway, great review sir. I'm still on the fence on spending that kind of money and not knowing how it looks with my new modern 4" figures. Cheers
Call review. I remember playing with the G.I. Joe’s as a kid and really think they’re cool. But I’m committed to the transformers and I only have so much room. So I can’t branch off into G.I. Joe. If I could that would be my second choice
I think the base came out before the cartoon. I had it. It's probably the best base for GI Joe with the Terrordfome the best overall playset. I think it would of been better if had another section for figures like an armory.

Wow, I'm surprised how well that works for the classified figure - it's not perfect but still looks pretty darn good .
