Scott Rasmussen On The Latest 2024 Polling Numbers

- Scott Rasmussen reports on the latest poll numbers a few days after VP Kamala Harris became the Democratic Presidential candidate. "Ignore the poll. Before the debate on June 27, the race between Trump and Biden was very close and Harris is starting in that same position. Very few voters know anything about VP Harris. Right now, this is like a blank slate."
The founders were wiser than today's average phd...thank God for the checks and balances AND the electoral collage they put in place!
Well stated !
Good thing the Chevron doctrine was overturned by the Supreme Court. That should make those "managers" less powerful.
Huge for freedom
I asked my friend who lives in Florida how much he loves Desantoses socialized homeowners insurance since the big private insurers are pulling out. He said “I love it.” Thanks Ron! Socialism rocks in FL!
Well my wife and I made 350K per year, had graduate degrees, lived in a major population area, and were not religious. We both are very conservative and love guns.
Sadly you are not typical of that income, education level.
The gun haters comprised only 69% of the group
So what? What’s your point? He didn’t say everyone. Look up “anecdotal evidence”…maybe re-read some of those books.
Good for you sir!
He’s just talking about something we all know..THERE’S NOT A CRIME DEMOCRATS WON’T COMMIT
So you’re good if Harris loses and Antifa storms the Capital and this time successfully stops the Constitutionally required counting of the electoral ballots and then Harris stays in the office?? As President with absolute immunity (thanks SCOTUS for returning us to a monarchy), Biden could then take executive action and declare Harris stay in office till the case of whether his actions were legal makes their way through the 3 year court process. Got it.
what a liar.
Most Americans want the government to provide the very basics: schools, roads, national security, public safety and so forth. Most of that should be provided by a local government, not a bunch of detached federal bureaucrats in one geographic extreme of the nation.
His point about asking and probing about what someone likes about socialism, or whatever the subject, makes sense.
TRUMP 2024!!!!!
Trump said he loves the poorly undereducated
Everybody get out and vote
I trust Rasmussen
Very good discussion! We need people, voters and candidates, who will avoid talking about the horse race and simply articulate conservative principles. Don’t get me wrong. I like Trump. And he has changed the Republican Party forever. But I voted for DeSantis because he has Trump’s testicular fortitude while at the same time has the ability to articulate conservative principles and policies, illuminate the downsides of liberal policies, all with maintaining a smile on his face. We’re missing a great opportunity to grow the party. Also, outlets like Fox News almost never air thoughtful discussions on policy. Because of this, the average conservative voter can’t properly articulate conservative principles to younger voters. These new voters have been systematically filled with ideas from the left their entire lives, then all they get from older conservatives in their lives is what only seems to be hateful demagoguery that just serves to solidify what they’ve been taught in left leaning schools. Again, we’re missing opportunities to introduce truth into the lives of new voters. When you open someone’s mind to truth, not only do you gain a voter, that person also becomes aware of how they’ve been manipulated by the left.
How is that working out. DeSantis teamed up with the worst warmongers of the Bush Era and had horrible support and Nicki Haley the other forever war canidate had Big Dem Donors and what votes she got came from Democrats who had no primaries. Things are at the edge and at a do you want to live point. Many ideas with erudite latitudes brought us to 35 trillion in debt. The Founders would be sick at those pretending to be Conservative. Trump all the way only one is is telling the brass tax.
Very well spoken.

Scott Rasmussen, MBA Wake Forest. Earns well over $150,000.00 per year as do 21% of Americans, not 1%. Scott’s a 1 percenter. :-)
@@jtjones4081He referenced two criteria: salary and a post graduate degree. From the latest census data: "14% had completed advanced education such as a master’s degree, professional degree or doctorate." So it would be less than the intersection of the two which is about 3%.
@@jtjones4081My search results for Americans earning $150,000 is 9%, not 21%. Using that number with 14% having post doc degrees does come out to about 1%.

Also he was talking about those with post graduate degrees and living in Urban areas. That's how you get 1%.
See I make over 150 but I don't technically have a degree so I'm not in that group. As do most oil field workers, plumbers and many electricians.
Sounds like the elite 1% got one degree too many.
Democrat Party is the Socialist, if not Communist Party ! Please Vote Trump !!! We can’t let the Left destroy America & Us !
😐oh please, don’t embarrass yourself in front of the world
Thank you. I was getting very stressed out.
Freedom, equality and self governance are essential, but preceding and underlying all of them is recognition and defense of inalienable self ownership. The entire moral and political edifice of America is built from the construct of self ownership. This is what the elites and all other collectivists reject, and it is what must be constantly explained and absolutely defended at every level. Those opposing or rejecting it must be marginalized or crushed.
Remember…in 2016 they had Hillary beating Trump in the polls!
She got 3 million more votes.
@@kevinskiles2033according to Billionaire owned corporations. We haven’t had an honest primary or election in decades even before 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and the one to come. You know what I found out about 2016? A 2018 article in the Washington Post should give some indication.

Yet Clinton received almost the same identical number of votes as Obama in 2012. Great advice from a political genius.
When I called my GOP state rep to complain about the House GOP’s vote to use taxpayer funds for a new stadium for pro sports and pointed out a local news poll said 75% of respondents did not agree with this the Rep said “read the Constitution sir. Voters elect me and then I make the decisions. If you disagree with my decisions, you vote me out next cycle.” He’s correct, the stadium was built, the taxpayers paid.
excellent
Polls vary. They are just that...polls. Their intent is information. But they have been actually manipulated for self serving interests. I liked the 60s when we had Gallup and Harris. They were not perfect but pretty good.
I think he's great!
The new nominee? Maybe presumptive nominee?
Wait, he just said “Deep State!” All drink!!
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you send a link for the full top 1% survey? Fascinating stuff.
Bravo
Good insights
OK - where then do family and friends get their news?
Wow!
He no longer is associated with Rasmussen Reports. He started a new firm.
They believe the ends justify the means.
social security , medica care , medica aid , they are a form of socialism ..
No not at all
They are programs funded by capitalism
Without capitalism they wouldn't exist
No, they’re not because we’ve paid into the system on that our whole lives those things Social Security especially is not an entitlement. I’ve earned it when I’ve worked my whole life and paid into the system. Socialism you get everything for free the government does it for free supposedly
@@shawnjensen3896 what you say is true but it is still a FORM OF SOCIALISM, if your married and say your wife does not work when you die she gets your SS. if you are disabled you can get help through SS, ETC. so it is a form of socialism

150k$ puts you in the 1%? That’s not very much money anymore. Won’t even buy a house starter home in some places.
The bubble will burst soon.
Why don’t you ask Doug Doucey about the Sinclair cartel
LOL $150K a yr
Ive been ignoring Rasmussen for years 😂
Bureaucrats are not legislators. If the voters don't like a law or regulation they are enforcing, it isn't their right to change the policy. That us the job of elected legislators.
Does ALEC seriously believe that bureaucrats should change policies not inline with the law? If so that is just anarchy.
What we need are legislators willing to negotiate and compromise with the other party. If only the left is paddling or only the right is paddling, or they paddle in opposite directions we just go in circles. We need to move the nation forward.
TRUMP at 52per cent-HARRIS at 36 percent in 345 poll

Yes we do. Pay $%% in and get far less back.
Don’t people pay into those through payroll taxes?
Are you better off today than you were 4 years ago ?
Hell no I’m not trump 2024!
Yep. Pick and choose which of his polls favor Trump.
Takeaway: The more educated you become the more indoctrinated and authoritative you become (like what we've been saying for decades with liberals overtaking college campuses).
In 1972 I voted for the first time. 21 yrs old and a vietnam vet. I voted for McGovern. Yes, I voted for Mittens also.
The oligarchs love ALEC.
I say that Rasmussen over estimate republicans and the other pollsters over estimate democrats.
True. The reality is in the middle
Actually in 2020 Rasmussen was pretty close to the result
I’m sure Trump is still up
No. They simply call ppl and then ask questions and record the answers. They do not seek out republicans.

Rasmussen = one of the worst pollsters out there. Botched the so called redwave big time.
Except we know all the rigging is real. Look at all the findings now on Michigan, George. It is a joke to even debate illegals being allowed to vote. But we do.
They don’t factor in the cheat
They dont hand pick zip codes in inner cities to poll.
Joe Rogan for President
Maybe he should try for County Commissioner first
Ok good so Harris is lower and no chance to win. Thanks!

I don't know enough about ALEC to know if I like this organization or not. But I know that I like socialism or at least some aspects of it. And I like capitalism, or at least some aspects of it.
But I wouldn't ever want Venezuelan styled socialism and I would never like Russian styled capitalism (fascism today). America has a hybrid system and we need a tug of war in politics to make sure we don't go too far left (communism and socialism) and that we don't go too far right (capitalism and fascism).
The goldilocks zone is a mixture of socialism and capitalism.
I am not sure a “little socialism” is a thing
@MAGA_Hat_Stays_On if you support the military you support a very socialist organization. If you support public roads, public utilities, schools and libraries you support socialism. Same for the postal system, police, and fire departments.
If it is owned and operated by the government (the people) and it has a payroll, it's socialism.
We have seen a growth in capitalism in this country, not a decline. You have private companies replacing the military (Blackwater), replacing NASA (SpaceX), private universities competing with public universities, and even the mail (FedEx, UPS). In some cases it was done better and some cases worse, and in some places the two co-exist and compliment each other.
We have always had socialism in this country. We have also had private companies. Only recently were corporations declared "people" giving even greater power to private corporations.
The right claims the left are a bunch of socialists and commies. I suppose if you consider anyone who supports public schools and the military socialist then maybe we are all socialist. But I see no movement among liberals to act as barriers to private enterprise. As a centrist with some liberal views and a small business owner, I am all about living the American dream and a big part of that includes capitalism. Even those like Bernie Sanders who wear the "Democratic Socialist" badge with pride aren't talking about ending private industry. I literally know one communist when it comes to my social media friends. I suspect it's just a phase for him, and his biggest critics are usually liberals.
In short the right needs stop lying about all Democrats being socialists and communists. I'm not saying there are none, but they are few and far between. They are the exception not the rule in Democratic politics.
The bottom line is that the US is a hybrid of socialism and capitalism, but if you look at what policies both parties support neither party fits neatly into either category. There is strong support among both parties for what any outsider or academic would call a socialist institution.
The closest thing we have to socialism is probably the military. Everyone gets a standard paycheck, housing is provided, food at the galley or dining hall is free, and the healthcare is also free. Seems like textbook socialism to me. I was in the military and grew up on military bases my whole life - and fully support the military. If you asked anyone at a Trump rally what their favorite part of the government is, the vast majority would say the military. So maybe that makes Republicans very strong supporters of a socialist institution. They just haven't mentally connected those dots.
Rasmussen comes off as a real cracked pot! I I knew his polls were crap forever and now I know why.

The most compelling message (selected by 61% of voters) is a pointed, populist economic argument focused on Harris as a champion of working families who supports reducing the federal deficit, an all-of-the-above approach to energy to lower gas prices, prosecuting price-gouging companies, and taking on Big Pharma by passing a law allowing Medicare to negotiate the prices of prescription drugs. Not only is this message the most persuasive to voters overall, it is also the most compelling to independent voters (61%), voters across all age ranges (61% among voters aged 18-44, 62% among those aged 45-64 and those 65+), both men (61%) and women (61%), non-college voters (64%), and Republicans (63%).
Notably, the most appealing message with Black voters (selected by 64%) frames Harris as a change candidate, tying her to popular Biden policies while contrasting her with both Biden and Trump as someone who can get America out of its current period of political dysfunction and make government work for regular people again. For Latino voters, the most persuasive message (selected by 66%) is one that focuses on Harris’s record of fighting for working families as Vice President, emphasizing her role in passing the American Rescue Plan, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
For Democrats, the most persuasive message (selected by 62%) is one that talks about Harris’s fight to protect a woman’s right to choose, contrasting her work to expand access to reproductive healthcare with Republicans’ plans for a federal abortion ban. This is also the second-most popular pro-Harris message overall, a notable change from the unevenness of abortion messaging in Biden testing.
