I purchased the same splitter. Added a few things that I thought makes a better splitter. I purchased three racks for the splitter offered as an option. I welded two together and installed to set rounds. The second rack allows for more wood but most importantly protects the motor from a falling round. Very big rounds I use front end loader and easily set on the double rack. I added the third rack over top of the hydraulic filter. Fits well and easily attached. Two bolts on splitter and two small supports on the holes for fender. I have had large half rounds when split half falling which would shear hydraulic filter and possibly even ruin the tank. Also purchased the optional 4 way wedge. I cut off the little two inch side wedges and welded on 5" side wedges. I am very pleased with this splitter.

I wish I had not bought my Countyline 25-ton splitter, but it's too late now and I guess I'm stuck with it. I HATE the design of the beam that the wedge slides on. My old splitter (a 40-year-old Yard Machine) had a beam with a simple flat surface, easy to wipe off and keep clean. The new Countyline has a (whatever you call it) groove that the wedge rides in -- a perfect trap to catch wood chips and splinters that needss constant cleaning (I finally had to set up my air compressor next to it so as to blow everything clean several times a work session.) Today I actually got a fat wood chip crammed in beside the wedge and had to get my pry bar to free it. Stupid stupid design.

I have one just like yours, it splits everything I have cut so far in 2 years, the wood you split did not even come close to putting a strain on the machine, it is easy to start. easy to maintain,. only problem I have had, it will leak the fluid out through the fill/check port if you do not have the machine sitting level,

I just got one of these and it's the loudest engine that sounds like a runaway train when at full throttle. The connecting pins also rattle and chatter real bad. Definitely need ear protection when using this splitter, its LOUD

If you have an extra $80.00 I would definitely invest in the side table that you can attach with 2 bolts. Tractor Supply can get U one.
Great splitter I’ve had mine for 2 yrs.

Great video. Ever have the black coating on the tip of the hydraulic cylinder shaft wear off?

It will split Hackberry and Elm with ease…
Both are very hard with a twisted grain!
    Oak is like butter…

If you burn a wood burner in the recommended operating ranges 350-550 degrees, it will burn ❤️‍🔥 hot enough that the sap in pine will never accumulate and be an issue. Just like if you burn it hot 🔥 enough you avoid carbon buildup.

The entire west side of the U.S. has been burning pine for 150 years.
Dry it properly, burn it hot, clean the chimney.
