I downloaded aion today just to check and omg it's so dead. There is like 10 afk ppl in the main city and 50+ bots and I only played for 1h. There's also kinah to buy in the cash shop lmao. Oh and you can teleport to npcs instantly when you do yellow quests and you get op gear from it now.
its dead dead, ppl i know played it for like 2 months for the nostalgia n then dipped when new games released. now i guess we're waiting to see if aion 2 will be any good in 2025-6
