Sorry my friends this one is a few weeks late, but life has a way of changing things don't it. I want to thank you all for you prayers and support. God bless you all. Thank you.
Mr Donnie, I hope you don't mind me sayin', I feel like this was right on time, since yesterday was leap day. I'm sure glad to see you feeling up to putting new content out there.
My husband and I are so thankful that you're feeling better . We have been enjoying Donnie Law's Marathon . Your videos are Enjoyable no matter when you're watching them. Thank you, God bless.
Aww. Mr. Donnie, this one brought tears. My own parents met in a little ol’ mountain church right off 25W. Daddy walked her home down the railroad track and that was that. They were married 62 years when daddy passed. I remember when they were both in the assisted living for a little while together, another oldster asked daddy how in the world he stayed married to the same woman so long and daddy said “I guess I really got lucky”They were poetry in motion. They both walked with The Lord and that was their secret. They could have lasted another 62. 🥰 Very well done, sir!
Sounds exactly like my grandparents! They were together 50+ years before he passed and it didn't take long for Granny to follow! I'm almost positive that she died of a broken heart! Wonderful story my friend GOD BLESS 🙏❤️✌️
Donnie, thank you for the beautiful love story of your mom and dad. My husband and I were married for sixty years. He passed away three years ago. I miss him still.
Thanks for this. My wife Judy and I met in high school, April 29, 1961, and married in 1966 (fifty-eight years). We have been through a lot of highs and lows. She spent twenty-two years of my twenty-four years in the military taking care of things at home, and that was difficult. As the typical military wife, she gets the credit for raising our three daughters. Hard times and good times is what makes a great, strong marriage. You need to know how to survive the bad things and bring those times up where you can laugh together again. Like your Dad said, when its time to go, you will be together again in a much better place. Amen.
Thank you for telling us these touching stories. I love hearing how things used to be. I'm 67 and during my childhood, every chance I got, I was sitting around the "old folks" listening to their stories of their childhood. I still do, to this day. Glad you found your true love and are still together. Glad you're on the mend too.
Brother Donnie this is one of the most precious stories I’ve heard in a long while. It’s a crying shame our young people today care nothing( very little ) about our past . God bless you and your wife and your life of love! ✝️
Brother Donnie, I just cried for joy at these wonderful stories. May you have many more years with the love of your life. Praying for your continued health recovery. God bless you and your family.
My parents started seeing each other when Mom was 13 (Dad was her brother's friend). They were married, happy, still like teenagers until she passed away at 72. Thank you for your stories and congratulations. Good to hear your voice
I sure enjoyed your stories. My husband and I have been married for fifty three years.hasn’t always been easy but we’re still together. So glad your back.Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
We still have a Sadie Hawkins Day dance in Hector Arkansas our great grands have fun on Sadie Hawkins school dance night We have been married 61 years on 21st of March this year Thanks for this video Donnie
So glad to see a post from you this morning! Hope this finds you improving by the day! Absolutely loved seeing your parents love story. And I am sure that they are together and loving each other in heaven. Congrats to both you and your wife on the upcoming 50 year celebration. That is awesome! I have a good story about my Granny and Grandaddy. Grandaddy wanted to take Granny out, but she was interested in another fellow. She told Grandaddy that she would go out with him for a dime. That was a lot of money back then. About a month later Grandaddy came up to Granny after church and handed her that dime!! They were married 67 years when Grandaddy passed away. When Granny left us at the ripe old age of 94 she still had that dime, wrapped up in a small piece of tissue paper in her change purse. I have that dime in my firebox, and it will be passed on to my daughter and then her sons. It's worth so much more to us than 10 cents. It's priceless! Hope you have a great weekend and God bless!
Well Donald, you and your people sure have been a light in the darkness.Bless you all .I remember having Sadie Hawkins day up here in yankeeland Michigan,U.S.A back in high school 1969.
Awwwwe, the story of your mom and dad is so touching. No wonder you are the man you are with a father like that! Congrats to you and your missus on 50 yrs❤👫🏽❤ THANK YOU and still praying that you are healing and feeling better and better Mr Donnie🙏🏾
Donnie what a beautiful sentimental video. Why do you have me crying so early? It is so true my husband said the same you just know she's the one. Your mom and dad what a beautiful couple. God bless their souls. Thank you Donnie for sharing such a beautiful video. May you and your sweetheart have many many more Anniversaries. God bless you both and your beautiful family. I pray you are recovering well. 🙏🏻🫂🕊️🩵❤️
Bless you, Donnie, what beautiful love stories! My grandfather used to walk three counties away to court my grandmother. He always said she was the prettiest girl in three counties. My own marriage has lasted for 40 years, and I pray it lasts 40 more. I hope youre healing well, Donnie. God bless you.🙏❤️
Thank you, Donnie, for another look into the past. My sister's and I had to have a chaperone when we dated. I met my husband on a blind date. We will be married 50 years this August. I love all your love stories, especially yours and your parents. Many thanks. God 🙏 🙏 🙏 bless.
Outstanding video Donnie. I loved the stories of Old Bill, your parents and yours and your wife's. I hope you are doing well and recovering. I'm still praying for you. I hope you have a great weekend.
Hello from KY love you and your channel ❤️.Donnie so good to hear your voice. You have to feel sorry for people that didn't grow up with our elderly folks. We couldn't wait to get supper cooked and dishes done to set out on the porch and talk with the neighbors. We would have several older folks come and talk with my Grandparents.Their stories stayed with me all my life.Gois times Donnie, good times.Get well soon.❤
As your father said, "Genuine Love" ♥and you "Love Never Dies" ♥62 years of it for your parents and 50 years for you and your Love. Thank you for your entire beautiful video. ♥
Good morning, Donnie! No need to apologize, it is well worth the wait! Hope you are well on the mend! My parents were married 58 yrs until Mom passed. They were reunited just over 7 yrs later...that was just shy of 3 yrs ago... They went to the same high school, but, didn't know each other. Dad said they'd met at a dance. He saw her setting there with a couple friends, like you said, Donnie, he just knew. Mom said that he really knew how to dance, which she loved herself. They were together all they could which was just on weekends when Mom came home on a bus from the city she worked at. After a year of dating, Mom quit her job in the city and they were wed. My maternal grandmother told me that Dad had come to ask for her hand one Monday morning while Grandma was hanging up the laundry on the line, her dad came up from the barn to see what was going on. Of course permission was given and as they say, the rest is history...♥️🙏
So glad to see you back! You've been in our prayers. Such good memories, you wonder if it's still the same these days. People just move too fast and have too many distractions. Thanks for reminding us of how it ought to be. Prayers for continued healing, stay safe and GOD bless
God bless you buddy glad you are back You know there are story tellers and listeners I grew up at living in Delaware what they call lower slower Delaware now days in old country stores listening to the older folks tell stories. Sad that those days are gone here anyway Keep up the good work and continue to get healthy my friend God bless
Oh, Mr. Donnie! What a touching video! Your mama and daddy's love story brought tears to my eyes! I believe the old ways to be the best ways, but I attribute that mostly to a reverence for God that most had back then. He is love. Marriage was His idea to begin with. He's the One who holds it together, and marriage is supposed to represent the relationship between Christ and His bride, the Church. We have kicked Him out of everything. And when people stop reverencing the Lord, they do as they see fit. It breaks my heart to see that weddings have just become parties where everyone gets drunk. They either don't take vows or don't take them seriously. They don't wait for marriage, and the whole thing is just an exercise in futility. Just a party. But most of all, it breaks my heart that people don't see the need to be married anymore. I can only imagine how that makes the Lord feel.
Good morning Mr Donnie! I hope you are feeling better my friend! I will keep praying for your health and comfort and fast healing. Thank you for ALL YOU DO AND GOD BLESS 🙏❤️✌️
Donnie it is great to have you back! When I got up the first thing my wife said to me is that Donnie has a new video out! We may be in Buzzard's Bay Massachusetts, but it feels like we're having morning coffee with an old friend!
Thanks for another good visit. Glad to see you're getting back on your feet, Donnie. You're right when you find the right one, you know it. My Dad was 25 when he met Mom (19) and he was 'thunder struck'. They married 3 months later.
Heartwarming Mr Donnie . This Brooklyn Ny Girl & Boy grew up down the street from one another. Our Parents knew each other .June will be❤ 44 yrs of marriage….. Thanks ! For the stories and it’s So good to hear from you❤
What a wonderful video, so great that your Dad and Mom were interviewed, met mine at a restaurant, and totally changed my stay single forever attitude. We hit 40 years last year. Take care. Prayers are still coming your way!
Thanks for sharing......I hope you're feeling better. It amazes me what the old folks accomplished with nothing and they stuck together through thick and thin. I guess they knew they could count on their partner and that's what got them through their lives together. Blessings Mr. Laws. See you next time.
Good morning, thank you for such a sweet uplifting story and reminder of times when couples truly loved each other. Times were hard, large families, little money and a strong faith strengthened bonds instead of how things are today. My parents were married 55 years before my dad passed ten years ago. Now a days it seems couples give up too easily, divorce, leaving children who are forever affected by it and broken family ties. Thank you friend for a reminder of what true love is, hugs, letters, hard work, a flower from their land not texts, emojis, blocking people and giving up so easily.
Welcome back Donnie this made me 🥲I remember my grandma telling me these stories about courtship with my grandpa makes me miss all of them rip 🪦 grandmas and grandpas . Donnie you are the best 👍
Mr Donnie it’s so glad to see you back. I love all your videos but this is one of the best. I’m from the foothills of Georgia. I was raised to follow the rules like you described here . Been married for 27 years. Thanks for sharing continued prayers for your healing. 🙏
Omgoodness, totally loved this. I never put it together with you and the rebel, so cool. I still can't figure out about how we stay together so long with one person and we have been married for 30 years this August. Never gets old and now that he's retired we have the rest of our lives to enjoy. Thank you so much and see you next time.❤
This is a beautiful video, my mom and dad were married 55years, they are in heaven together now.😊 God bless you so much Mr Donnie,I pray for you every day and night 💕.
What a wonderful story Mr. Donnie, such blessed memories of your parents and their love for one another, congratulations on you and your wife on 50 years! This video brought me to tears God does have his divine intervention, that is how I feel about Kenneth my one true love of my lifetime! Thank you for sharing! God Bless you! 🙏🏻 for you!
Hello Donnie! Oh my how wonderful it is to hear you tell your stories of love & dedication!! I’m still praying for you & I know the good Lord is taking good care of you!! I’m so happy that you are doing better but please don’t over. I am watching you & love your stories of the Appalachian life. Blessings always my dear friend! ❤️😊✝️
Thank you Donnie! I'll tell you sir, you touched me deeply with this one. I do hope we're as much a blessing to you as you have been to us! You brought me the sweetest memories of life and family with this one. Keep shining with the Glory of God and may his blessings fill you! This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!❤
When you are truly in love, you'll know it. It's folks like your parents, Bill, and yourself that are proof of what those Wedding vows and the word of God teaches us. Your Daddy and Momma's love for one another is a true testament to how a marriage lasts. Not only being in love with one another, but when he said being honest with one another. You have to talk to one another to work things out. Not trying to change the other person, respecting one another's ways, and learning how to live with the differences. May God bless you and your wife with many more happy years of marital Bliss! Continued prayers for the healing of your body Donnie and your RUclips channel. Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕 God is good all the time!
Hi Donnie! I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear your voice and these beautiful stories. I actually got a tear in my eyes hearing from you. How lucky you are to have gotten so many wonderful stories from so many people. I wish I had done that. My parents were married 59 years when I lost my mom in 1995. Growing up I never heard my parents say a bad word to each other and my dad always referred to my mom as mother when he spoke of her. Boy do I miss them. I’m glad you are feeling better Donnie. I pray each night that the Good Lord continues to bless you with continued health and strength. Take care. 😊🙏🏼❤️
Donnie, every youngen should be made to watch this video. The world is so full of false promises, egotism, disrespect, back talking, lies, and self aggrandizing. Right is now wrong, wrong is now right. Anyone who sees this video and feels so grateful for it, is blessed beyond what the world will ever know. Thank you sir!!
This is one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen Donnie! So glad you're feeling well enough to finish this for us, I've been praying for you every day! And this video is not late my friend. Love is timeless and the good Lord has his own time clock, so this video is right on time! Love is eternal. Your family, as well as Mr. Bill, are all proof of this. Thank you for sharing this wonderful reminder! Please take it easy and rest up because I'd like to see more videos from you for the next several years! Y'all take care now! May God bless you and yours. 😊

Thanks for another good visit. Glad to see you're getting back on your feet, Donnie. You're right when you find the right one, you know it. My Dad was 25 when he met Mom (19) and he was 'thunder struck'. They married 3 months later.
Awesome my friend. Thanks so much for sharing this. God bless you. Your very welcome.

What a wonderful video, so great that your Dad and Mom were interviewed, met mine at a restaurant, and totally changed my stay single forever attitude. We hit 40 years last year. Take care. Prayers are still coming your way!
That's so awesome my friend. God bless you.
Thanks for sharing......I hope you're feeling better. It amazes me what the old folks accomplished with nothing and they stuck together through thick and thin. I guess they knew they could count on their partner and that's what got them through their lives together. Blessings Mr. Laws. See you next time.
Thanks so much for sharing this my friend. That's so true. God bless you. Your very welcome.
oh thank you for sharing these stories!!!
Your very welcome my friend.
Good morning my friend. Thanks so much for sharing this. That so true. God bless you.
@@donnielaws7020 keeping you in my prayers that you’re feeling better each day🙏

You brought me the sweetest memories of life and family with this one. Keep shining with the Glory of God and may his blessings fill you! This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!❤
Amen my friend. Thank you so much. God bless you.

Your very welcome my friend.
Take care. 😊🙏🏼❤️
Thank you friend for sharing your memories. God bless you.
