Josh didn’t come out asserting dominance with the slide. I respect his humility 😂
😂
😂
That would’ve cowed Rhett into submission and made him unable to play. When you have Josh’s talent sometimes you have to hold back for the greater good.
Rhett plays bass like a guitar player and you know what? it's freaking awesome!!! I love what he's doing!
There's a guy called Paul McCartney who played bass like a guitar player. He got some reputation ;-)
that bass tone, that snare, that guitar tone, the colors of the video...great work guys!
thank ye!
Yes color grading and shot composition on point.
Josh and Nicks playing is so creative. I love when they jam on JHS streams as well. Joshs' playing comes at you like a screwball out of left field. So much fun to listen to!
I love this - edgy and tasteful at the same time, going for the notes instead the flash. Good stuff.
Josh may be my favorite guitarist these days...!
Josh and the Joshtones
Кайф !!!!!🤘🤘🤘
Nice 'That Thing You Do' band reference in there!
Good lord this is really good! Musically amazing, and videography is ON POINT!
Anyone else hear a little John Scofield in that guitar tone and staccato picking? Great jam!
The convergence of two of my favorite things, and I am here for it.
That's some sick slide tone, Josh.
Cue the Josh Scott meme: "Is this jazz?!" Great stuff guys! I dig it 🤘🤘
Fantastic stuff! Live the vibe you all created! 👏👏👏
I'm still so weirded out by y'all being at this but I'm absolutely loving it. Just so unexpected to me, haha!
I always appreciate a shop with the wisdom to use T9 as the bench lube.
Love the band names? Oh, and the music and grooves are killer!! Thanks dudes
This was worth the listen.
Most enjoyable yes!
Wow. This is FANTASTIC!
Track two and three for me, love the slide work on three, release them and Clown Play will be cancelling world tours, left right and Chelsea.........
Josh and the Rehetticon chips
Poor slate was never in shot haha! Love it more please!
That’s some pretty basass playing fight there.
🤘
Очень круто 🤘🎸🎛🎧🪐
Dang, Josh. Impressive.
Epic
That second song could be called she steals sanctuary. It got weird in a good way!
my favorite internet friends ( they don't know it). sounding incredible!
also gotta love how that stool is basically the "right" height for Josh....
A slice of the finest dad rock with a hint of white sneakers
Anyone know the bass model Rhett is playing? Sounds absolutely massive and rich.
I love that the second track sounds like The Edge hung out with Lee Ronaldo. Like he decided to go nuts, but still has to be 85% The Edge.
Rhett plays bass like a guitar player
Edit: Josh is an insanely fire guitar player and their chemistry with nick is impeccable
"That" bass dude.. 😁
The drum kit is small, usually a good sign (Charlie Watts 👌).
Here’s the thing; we’re not The Wonders right now…we’re cap’n geech and the shrimp shack shooters 😂
Okay, so wouldn't it be funny if they weren't actually using any JHS Pedals? Show us the pedalboard!! But seriously, more drummers need to use much more minimal kits like Nick - such a simple set up, but he gets so much out of it.
Can anybody tell which Octave Fuzz pedal that Josh was using? Thanks!
I think Josh was using the JHS Cheese Ball
Do we need to start a go fund me me so Nick can get a crash cymbal?
Ok fellow bassists, Rhett has committed the unpardonable sin. You know what we have to do..
Why is that guitar guy always messing with the pedals?
😂

Dirty Meters
This bass looks terrible, but it sounds awesome.
THE CLIP ON TUNER ON THE BILT HEADSTOCK. BUT WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
This is the worst episode of *The 3 Stooges* ever.
No pies? No punches?
spent so much time reviewing gear they forgot to learn to be any good at playing music
