I own the same sized travel bag in green, spacious design, I use the sling bag from tomtoc for my fold 5z, wallet and passport. Sturdy construction, a bit pricey but you get a quality travel bag. Fits underneath the seat in front of me and in overhead bin, I've never been asked to check nor place it in sizing guide/restriction frame you'd find in front of the check in desk.
Great review! I bought one for a trip to Kenya and loved it! Now they’ve updated it to include a water bottle mesh and other improvements. But I love my first one ❤
Great review! I have been traveling with my 42L Del Dia for about 3 years and love it. I don’t have any other travel bag or suitcase. I was thinking of getting the 35L for shorter trips.
We have the 28 l Del Dia which is our travel bag. It takes us all around the world for up to 6 weeks at a time. Carry on all the way! Love our Cotopaxis. Best bags ever!
I travel 18 days a month with this bag and another rolling duffle. The bag has held up well for the last 4 years, but it is now starting to deteriorate relatively fast. Lots of material chafing off now, but then again after 4 years of essentially continuous use in an airplane it has done its job well.
Best review of this bag and I've watched them all! I know there's a new model out, but I still want to grab this version. Just have to save up, but it will surely be worth it. Thanks!
Great review! I just ordered the NEW version of the Allpa 28L - fantastic new features on the new Allpas you might consider an update considering how much you use your bag.
they made a new version of those bag, so yes you will have chance to buy another if this one ever get destroyed. maybe you should check the newer version for fun
wondering what is better the 42l or 35. going away for 6 week and backpacking in Thailand but I am not sure if better to have a little extra space or actually I don't need that big of a bag as its not very convenient?
Like you, I'm doing a 6 week trip next month (Thailand included) and had this same debate. I eventually settled on the 35L Allpa to make travel easier. Just got it today (love the colour way!) and can't wait to use it. I already own a 55L backpack but I find more space = more weight, which in SE Asia, lugging that in humidity is just NOT the go. I also want to travel carry on only for flights plus have the freedom the mobility allows (eg catching a motorbike/scooter grab for transport or when you need to stow it away on buses/trains etc).
Hey, good review! I have the allpa 28 which fits my height and frame pretty well (5'3 woman) I love that mine came with a rain fly which also helps with security and dirt protection in addition to weather protection. I like the updated features they just released but in addition to the slightly higher price point, now the rain fly is not included and the are selling sizes separately for $20 to $30. That adds 10% or more to the price of the bag if you want a rain fly when it used to be included with the bag. They also removed the back door access to the main compartment on the 35 (my 28 never had that) but I solved that problem with using packing cubes and leaving my jacket\sweatshirt at the top of the bag with the interior mesh zipper unzipped on top so i can grab my jacket quickly. So I'm on the fence if i want to get the 35 for longer trips or look at another brand. Plus if i underpack i can use the 28 as a personal item on domestic flights and have a roller carryon.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I am 5ft will this be a good bag for small torso. I tried all osprey packs still have a lot of room even with load lifters rides upward. Is this a better bag for smaller women
For future videos, you might want to consider color blocking. On this video you were showing a blue pack against a blue shirt you wore which made the visual difficult to see the details you were trying to show.
Tip for free - edit intro to hello and the review - move self promotion after the review. To keep flow have a “don’t forget to like and subscribe” 5second flash on screen when you begin, half way through and at the end of the review. Enjoyed review presentation and information appreciated your 3 years owners wear and tear rundown. Backpacks are like the highlander there can only be one -that is right for you -choose wisely
Nice to see a bag that actually looks like its been used , not like other RUclipsrs that look like they just bought a bag yesterday
The most useful review on this bag!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for letting me know!

Surprised this doesn't have 10x the views - superb quality videos man. Thanks for making these.
Appreciate you watching, thanks for the kind words!
Yeah these bags are amazing! Just used my 42L for two weeks in Peru. Fit in the overhead bin just fine.
Great review!

35 heas been enough for me! Not a huge difference between 35 and 42 tho. I am putting out a video comparing the 2 this weekend!
Great review! I am looking at the Allpa 42L for some upcoming adventures.
You wont regret it! I am posting a new video this weekend comparing the 42 to the 35. You might like it...

4 years ain't bad! Would you buy another one?

So many bad decisions!!! I’ve loved my 35L.

Not sure I get the purpose of your comment…
Would love this bag, but my work laptop is a 17” one, so I don’t think it would fit in the laptop sleeve.
It will def fit a 17 inch lap top. no problem!
what do you do without a water bottle holder?
I am 5ft will this be a good bag for small torso. I tried all osprey packs still have a lot of room even with load lifters rides upward. Is this a better bag for smaller women
I think you would still find it comfy and manageable.
no delamination on the TPU outer?
Not for me!
Great review, Cotopaxi seems to make a stout bag.
Have you been able to fit the 35 under an airplane seat? And if so, how full was it?
Yes! On American based carriers I can fit it under the seat almost completely. It does hang out into the foot room a little.
Any international travel with this? If so any carry on issues on the aircraft?
Yes Europe and South America. Never had any issues.
for 5 days carry on plane 28L or 35??? both can fit under de seat!? 😅😅
Both will fit for sure!
Sorry my man but they no longer sell that version. They updated it with major differences
Oh thats nothing to be sorry about. Glad they have improved it!

Thanks for the tips!
Did airlines ever gave you trouble to make it pass as a personal item instead of a carry on?
