Thank you for your comment, and for tuning in. I happy with mine too. Besides all the features, I really think for suitable games, the vibration (the rumble) feature is tremendous-better than any other I’ve tried. Anyway, I know you’ll enjoy it even more as time goes.
Yea, for not much more than a regular xbox c, this is a huge upgrade, I am super impressed with the quality. I still suck but my aim is better before I die.
Thanks for commenting. I really like and enjoy using this controller too. The Xbox controller design can never be beat, in my opinion. Now adding on top of that is this controller.
Amazed with your video. I needed to install the rear paddles. I love the way you go thru gadget testing. I'm an instant fan. .. And Yes.. I do notice, the macro lens, and the hi fidelity sound as well. Well recorded, not quite sure if it's AI or if it's you going thru the narration. Aside from the informative content I love the ASMR vibe, I'm a 50 plus gamer and I shy away from " in-your-face", hi octane reviews w over saturated colors, flashing epileptic causing lights and effects. 😅. The ASMR vibe is very calming and enjoyable in some old Gen X kinda way. I watched ads in full to support your channel. Will go thru your other vids. More power!
Thank you very much for your comment and support. Yeah, it’s me, I do my voiceover in my videos other the same way-a bit like a psychotherapist, haha, just trying to make myself clear. And of course I would do a bit of research on each product. We also have something in common we are both 50+ gamers (at least I’d like to think I am one). I appreciate your positive points for this video. And staying tuned in, even ads. 😀🙏
Thank you for your comment. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. And my thoughts on this controller have not changed from this video. I would like to do another only to compare it to another new upcoming controller for sure. I’ll have to see. Thank you again.
Thank you for the detailed review. I like your style, and I hope you review Mytrix pro Controller, and compare it to this controller and 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller
In the game Helldivers 2 they have something called Strategems that require a direction pad combination. How difficult is it to create macros for the 4 back paddles of this controller to be a combination of D-Pad inputs?
Hi, thank you for your comment and reaching out. I’m just a casual gamer. I'm afraid I don't have any knowledge about creating macros for controller inputs in the games. Your best option may be to search for tutorials or forums discussing controller remapping for Helldivers 2 specifically. Let me know.
I think this controller will arrive today. Immediately bought it after receiving an Xbox elite 2 controller that felt shockingly low quality in addition to being broken on arrival. But I'm kinda interested in the Apex 4 Pro too. Though you mentioned that the kk3 max has better vibration. Apex 4 pro has a 30 day preorder time here though apparently
Hi, thank you for your comment and reaching out. I had my Elite 2, returned twice. The 1st was the quality control issue. The 2nd had noticeably stick drift. I later figured out that Apex 4’s vibration can be increased in the settings on the controller or in the Space Station app. (Default at 60% intensity.) But I still think the KK3 still has a Bit better vibration intensity. Either one, I think they are both very good! Enjoy! Let me know how it goes.
I see. I suppose it’s possible that one can wear out a button or two when we’re really into a game. But I’m surprised when it’s so soon after you just got it (since it has been available for that long).
I had pretty bad stick drift on mine, and since it's a hall effect sensor and not a potentiometer. I reached out to their support and they told me to press and hold the settings button in the middle, and tap the button to the left the circle inside a square. this sets the deadzone to 0.00002. I can't understand how this works. Do you happen to know?
Hi, thanks for your comment. I think that your stick on controller wasn’t calibrated properly (it could be from manufacturer or you might have done something unknowingly). I think it’s like adjusting the sensitivity of the joystick to make small movements register more easily. Being able to set the deadzone to a smaller value (like 0.00002) likely makes the joystick more sensitive, helping reducing the effects of stick drift.
I bought the controller twice. The left stick on both broke down in less than a day. Whenever I put the left stick into the forward position, it grinds into something under the stick. I'm not handling it too roughly as I am using it like I would any other controller. This has to be a factory fault.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, it sounds like it’s faulty. I have heard about this on Amazon reviews and forums that some people do experience the same issue with one of the sticks. GuliKit has to have better quality control before they send them out to distributors.
can u test with 2 controllers connected on BT.. and play some games if it stutters, lag and fps drop? can u? bcoz i have 2pcs kk2 pro gameplay is so bad, game stutters, lag and fps drop while playing.. i have to connect the other controller with USB and no more issue.. i need to know if kk3 max does not have that issue.. thanks
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I did, right after I made this video with both controllers in the video connected via Bluetooth, I couldn’t find the difference in lag versus with just the KK3MAX. But it wasn’t a thorough or extensive testing or anything because I didn’t sit down with someone to play. For example, I just locked the other controller in one direction and or pressing some buttons. From what I know, the KK3MAX Bluetooth does have improved latency compared to the King Kong 2, if that’s any help.
Hi, thanks for commenting. I plug it into the surge protector that has USB ports. I don’t use and adapter. You can if you’re using a regular outlet. Hope this helps.
was gonna return it thinking the paddles were lemons... but after u said to push them in, so i did, and it worked. i was used to the elite controller paddles where it literally slips in
Thank you for your comment. I’m glad to hear you got it working. Yes, the paddles would click in with a little force; I’ve also noticed a little oddly at first. But I’m Happy this helped.
MY PADDLES LITERALLY JUST DONT FIT. Did i get a deffective set or something Ive been trying for DAYS to get them attached but cannot figure it out for the life of me. Someone PLEASE help
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I’d try pushing them in the way in the video exactly but with a little force. Unless you could tell by close examination that they won’t fit, I would contact the seller. I know that it could be a bit concerning with you need to push them in.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with Xbox or PS5. You would need an adapter for it-according to gamers. I’m sure you could find it online. After, Let me know how it goes.
Thank you for your comment. Keen eyes you have. There are documented sources like on Reddit, forums and even reviews on Amazon on Bluetooth connectivity lag with GuliKit controllers. For example, it’s well known that KK2 have bad input lag (Bluetooth). I normally don’t play games on iPad, only when I test things for videos. That’s why I mentioned on this video that I would use mainly the dongle for connecting to PC for gaming. Anyway from experience, even XBox controller through Bluetooth on iPad has some lag.
@@TossSong have you tried connecting via cable? I am using dual sense edge connected to ipad. still the input delay is considerable. Hence I am trying to search for a new controller with less delay and knowing that KK3 has hall sticks I am thinking it might help. I hope you have information about wired connection to ipad.
Hi, so I tried on a MacBook using wired connection-it worked perfectly. However, when I tried on my iPad Pro, it failed to recognize it for some reasons. :(
Thanks for your comment. This video is focused on my personal experiences. I would love to provide more straightforward information about this controller. This because I am no expert or pro gamer to have the technical knowledge about it. But I do enjoy the experience (and get excited) especially with new controllers compared to older ones. Just want to share the experience.
good review and video. But this device looks like has serious handicaps. Windows thinks this is xbox 360 controller?! It means it is slow and has connections issues. Other problem is on the Aliexpress page device speed declared 1ghz. Not 2,4 this is actually xbox gen 9’s.
Hey there, thank you for your comment. And I appreciate you reaching out about this controller situation. You make a fair point - it can seem a bit odd when Windows detects a non-Xbox 360 controller as an Xbox 360 one. I can understand the potential concerns there. For me, as long as the controller is performing well and allowing me to properly play my games without any major hiccups, then the detection quirk doesn't really matter all that much. I’m glad to be able to use it as intended, and that's the most important thing. For AliExpress, it seems like no one checks anything regarding specifications on things. So I would be hesitant about that. And I’m afraid to order anything electronics that is more than $40. They even lost my order (a retro gaming device) before.
Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear that. I’m sure there bound to be some defective ones out there. Hope you got your refund processed. Or a replacement, if yes, let me know how it goes. Thanks again.
Excellent and detailed run through of the controller. I recently bought one and it's such an upgrade on any controller I've had before.

good review , i like the led light and the metal ring to prevent friction
Thank you for your comment. Yes, led is very nice. And they were thoughtful about the ring which is a great plus.

How has your kk3 helf up? One of my back button has started to go and have been loose
