HOK's Airport of the Future Concept as Featured in Fast Company

HOK and Airbiz developed the concept of the next generation airport that leverages autonomous vehicles and smart technology to accommodate increased travel demand while lowering an airport’s operational costs.
Featured in ‪@FastCompany‬, the design uses smart automated people movers to transport travelers from a terminal headhouse to their individual departing gate. This process gives airports more space for ground handling operations, enables flexible gate expansions, and helps turn flights three times faster than traditional narrowbody holdrooms currently used at airports.
