I'm a really big guy and watched this specifically hoping to see how they would sit differently on a bigger person. I was on the fence between the two, so I really appreciate you addressing that as it's kind of the critical deciding piece of information for me. Thank you.
@@peachydiscgolf definitely the Legend. I'm just too big and broad for the Lore to feel right on me, and I don't want to have a tiny backpack kind of look. I don't really ever travel though, so I can't imagine any situation where the size would be an issue.
@@bearislandjosh5279 Nice! They made a lot of good changes to the Legend bag from my version as well, so a lot of the quality of life improvements I noticed with the Lore bag are also present in the new Legend bags.
Hi, Great walk through. I just ordered my Lore 2.0 and the customer service was out of this world awesome, those guys over at Squatch are great! I have a suggestion for you in regard to the phone issue with the pocket. Get a Garmin watch! I have the Vivoactive 5 and you can download U disc on it to keep score (you have to start the round on your phone). I never touch my phone when I play and the watch I have has GPS so it tells you the distance to the basket (have not had a chance to see accuracy of the distance).
Great video! I have a Legend 3.0 and they totally fixed the lack of D-rings. There are a ton now! Also, for the straps, what you're meant to do is roll the excess strap up and then use the velcro to secure it in a rolled-up position. Glad you like the Lore! I'm thinking of getting an Upper Park to use in my everyday rounds and keep my Legend 3.0 for tournaments and fieldwork cause the capacity is amazing!
Honestly looking at the upgrades to the 3.0 made me VERY briefly consider getting one. I do love the storage capacity of the legend. I'd probably still use it for field work or if I'm going to a course for the first time. I definitely don't need it though lol.
@@silverfoxdiscgolf Haha, I actually may have a lil Christmas present to send you with some discs you may like trying. Reach out to me on IG though and I'll get something sent out later this month after I get back from my trip to Japan starting tomorrow.
@@peachydiscgolf Ok that's amazing! Other than this RUclips channel, I don't do any social, so how about I send you an email to the peachy disc gmail account?? THANK YOU!!!
I've played a couple of lightly rainy rounds, and I have been okay with just loosely closing the flaps. However, if you were in heavy rain for a tournament, I wouldn't be surprised if the bag soaked through a bit where the rain fly would be needed.
I like the smaller bags, it limits me and my brain when throwing. No overthinking.
I’ve notice I’ve played some of my more solid rounds with less decision but I always go back to extras 😩😩
It's so hard when there is so much great plastic available!

I'm glad it helped you out. Which bag do you think you're leaning towards?

Holy crap…the size difference is crazy!!
Weight difference is also! My back has been appreciative
Big fan of my Lore. I got the D Gibby colorway
I love the nickname D Gibby. I will be using that now.
Glad to see a vela in the bag! I’d recommend minimizing molds and cycling next!
Thanks, ive decided to go with the lore 2.0 :) Strange its only like 20 bucks cheaper though.

Do you really need a rain fly w Lore or is it pretty water resistant?

As someone who rocks a ten slot sling, I highly support this trend of downsizing.
A true champion rocks the sling. You always know they're gonna slay the course lol.
