For anyone whos interested, at 20:24, there is a small tunnel next to the dude there you give the 1000 caps to. Theres some med kits and a mini nuke, but most importantly, a journal. Click it, and it will give you a prompt to read it. Reading it adds a perm perk against ghouls.

Just had a conversation with one of my friends about our favorite games of all time and I had Fallout 3 on there but admitted that I never beat the game. I told my friend that I would have to go back and finish it to back up my claim of being one of my favorite games of all time. I have never passed any of the DLC, so I just beat the mothership DLC and now focused on this one. So far I'm really enjoying this add on and am not giving up till I beat all of FO3, after this I'll be moving to Fallout New Vegas but I tried FO4 and I didn't like it nearly as much as the previous Fallouts, I intend to give it another shot after I pass the 3 and NV. Anyway, thanks for posting this, I only wanted to watch a little bit of the missions to get an idea of what it would be like. Thanks again!

Also appreciate the game much more due to being older and noticing the subtle details the game designers put in. He’s got a dead headless corpse on a table and he starts performing a ritual with the book. But nothing ever happens. So THEN you kill him lmao

19:40 - When first entering the coastal grotto, there is a small room on the right which contains Plik's journal (on the desk), and some minor loot. Reading it awards the Ghoul Ecology perk, which gives a 5 point damage bonus when fighting ghouls. (Credit - Fallout Wiki)
There's a unique mini garden gnome and a quantum in a coffin at the ritual cavern, you can only drop the gnome one time after picking it up, if you pick it up and drop it again it turns into a regular size one
So far the dlcs have been surprisingly short (might be because I’m subconsciously comparing it to dlcs like far harbour) hopefully this one is abit longer tho

U forgot ghoul ecology perk in the coastal grotto when u meet him go to his room to the right and read his diary it makes u do 5 damage to all ghouls

For anyone role-playing good karma, you can get the fertilizer shovel via speech check when you speak to Croatoa
