Cody is a very popular character and a standard when it comes to being DLC. Storyline wise he is Mayor of metro city and would fit right in to a sort of story expansion. So i think he may be a Season 3 sort of character with a big story expansion. But im a cody main, i need him now!!!!
I would like to see Cody, Guy, Sean, Sagat, and Makoto return along with a new character with a fighting style that has not been seen in the franchise before. I know that he is dead but I would be nice if we got a revived Bosch that has cybernetic enhancements like the cyborgs in World Tour, he can also have his own fighting style along with his story about trying to kill JP.

Fei long, Sakura, Makoto, R. Mika, Ibuki, Sagat, Dan, SEAN, Balrog, Remy, Elena, Cody, Menat, C. Viper, Vega, Dudley and Alex all deserve to be in SF6. Anyone else is up for debate but those characters should all be in the game. Fei Long shouldn't even be DLC and its crazy to have to even think about that. Same with Sagat, Vega, Dan, Balrog, Cody and R. Mika. When you think of SF, you think of those characters directly next to Ryu, Chun Li, Ken, Blanka, Zangief, etc. Sakura, Makoto, Ibuki, Sean, Remy, Elena, Alex and Menat should be added since they are young and should be leading the next generation of fighters in the story. C. Viper and Dudley definitely need to come back in my opinion because a lot of people are asking for Dudley and C. Viper.

I don't have much of a wishlist but more of a guesslist for as wishlist is more likely popular picks and I would doubt CAPCOM is bias on whether who gets in (just look at Ed as example). My top 10 is of characters who would mostly be those of different archetypes, gameplay, nationality and just how they would fit seemingly well in SF6 in regards to World Tour and the game's mechanics. It also helps that they needed to be well diverse as well where the first half of my list is a possible chance that they could get in and the other very much probable. And my top 10 will be: 10. Necalli (SFV) - fighting style: violent style - birthplace: unknown(Aztec) - Argubably least favorite character understandable in both his story & personality but his design is very much appealing. And much like with Dee Jay & Ed, CAPCOM could easily redesign him in a way if not reinvent him in some way to have much more charismatic and much more appealing towards in game. Of course I put him at no.10 for he has a very low possiblity of happening but it will be a surprise not to me but everyone if CAPCOM were bold to bring him back. 9. Abigail (SFV) - fighting style: brute force - birthplace: Canada - There's hardly any other big body characters in SF6 aside from Zangief & Marisa and Abigail is consider to be the largest character in all of SF. He's a hulking muscle of a man and could be a possible candidate (to me at least) from the Final Fight series to return given his junkyard stage is in World Tour and he now runs a business as a mechanic. 8. C. Viper (SFIV) - fighting style: fights using high tech spy suit - birthplace: USA - A CIA agent could make a return probably investigating JP and with this game mechanics she can have some new gadgets in her arsenal like hidden blades, ice powers and whatever else that makes her more unique. 7. Falke (SFV) - fighting style: bojutsu with psycho power - birthplace: Germany - Since Ed is already in the game it's makes sense his sister comes as well for they both debuted in SFV. And much like with Ed she too would be wanting to investigate JP and he is planning on doing to her brother. 6. Vega (SFII) - fighting style: Spanish ninjutsu - birthplace: Spain - Given that both Balrog & FANG have pass down their skills to thier proteges(Ed & AKI) I highly doubt Vega would have one of his own especially after the events of Shadaloo(SFV). Now for the probable chances of returning: 5. Sakura (SF Alpha) - fighting style: ansatsuken karate - birthpace: Japan - This one is most obvious since she is the most popular character in all of Street Fighter but not only that a progressive story re volving around Ryu making her more mature as time passes. Menat (SFV) - fighting style: soul power - birthplace: Egypt - Much like the theme with SF6 with characters like Kimberly, Ed & AKI, Menat is student of Rose and wields soul power like her mentor. And would play like a trapper character with her crystal ball which would be interesting. 3. Hakan (SFIV) - fighting style: Turkish oil wrestling - birthplace: Turkey - A grappler with an interesting moveset would be neat in SF6 given the games mechanics of Drive Rush. Also given E. Honda's business in World Tour it will renew a rivalry between them. 2. Elena (SFIII) - fighting style capoeria - birthplace: Kenya - Another footsie character and another dance character like Jaime, Manon & Dee Jay that fits the theme of SF6. Also hoping to see some interaction between her and Akuma or some kind of story between them in World tour mode. 1. Sagat (SFII) - fighting style: muay thai - birthplace: Thailand - And lastly an OG character from SF days and Ryu's rival who I can see returning to settle 1 more score with new moves he has learn throughout his travels. Of course there's also the possibility of a new character within every season of SF so I expected to be that the same in SF6 as well.

Fun list! I gotta chime in as a fanatic of G & Q. I half agree with you about the mystery, but while I don't think they should ever fully reveal Q's story, I don't think he should have limited appearances. I say this often, but every 1 question answered by Q should create 5 more mysteries. If you never move the needle forward, it'll get stale. I kind of look at him like Wolverine in the early days; having more revealed about his ties to Sabretooth, Deadpool, and just what Weapon X was after was cool. While they overdid the revelations, they didn't just stay stagnant with his past being a mystery, they teased stuff, revealed a bit and even threw some curveballs. Since games take so much longer than comics to get new installments, I think Q would be fine showing up more often in the roster. I also agree that Viper should get another chance, she's pretty cool, has a lot of potential, and they love to use her in the story for SFV & SF6. I think Alex should be the first S2 character revealed to say "yes, we remember SF3 and we're not gonna leave them behind" cause it kinda sucks having the 1st post 3rd Strike game not having a single SF3 character present. Adon was my SF Alpha and SF4 main, I'd love him to return hah

I hope for Karin. I love Karin in Alpha 3 and was super excited when she was announced for SFV. Then SFV came out and was mostly a DLC store and only a game sometimes. I was so disappointed and I didn't play it very long. So I'd like her to have another chance in a much better, less off-putting game. I also really want Q and that is never happening but I play Q.
dude big W for having dean on ur wishlist. i grew up playing final fight on the ps2 from a disc of capcom classics and my love for final fight just grew from there. i think dean would be a great newcomer for 6 but probably in the later seasons once the more popular characters get in.
Alex, Urien, Makoto, G That would be my maximum hype season 2 roster. All 4 characters have that momentum type offense that’s fun to watch at a high level and I believe all four are popular
I want Falke most, Twelve second most, and Sean third most. First of all, Falke is really fun. Her negative edge mechanic was really cool, and I hope they keep that and don't rework her like SF4-SF5 Juri; however, I do wish they would make her other moves motion inputs instead of double kicks and double punches because those are quite annoying since I bind my controls in a way where I do OD moves with the triple kick/punch shortcuts so it's hard to do non-OD psycho schneide and all of that. Also, if they could make Ed super cool, I bet Falke would have an awesome redesign gameplay-wise and design-wise. Next, Twelve. Twelve is probably one of the most unique characters in street fighter history. His air dash was really interesting and so was the wall bouncing. He also had absurd normals with cool animations and great range, and his specials were very interesting with the arm flail, ground spikes, and dive kick. I feel like he could be heavily expanded upon in SF6 with new moves and crazy stuff, and really, in 3rd strike, all he needed was more damage/combos. Also, he would probably look really crazy with SF6 graphics. Finally, Sean. Sean was quite fun in 3rd strike with some really interesting mechanics, but he just didn't explore them very well. I feel like they could take a tiny bit of inspiration from Laura and give him the elbow hit grab perhaps along with his 3rd strike moves. His tatsu was really cool with the unique animation, and his flying overhead kick was also quite unique. On top of this, I feel like they could bring back his roll and make it unique, like maybe it has an overhead/low/grab mix-up out of it or something and avoids mids and highs. Guys, please get these 3 into SF6! Or at least Falke or I would be sad :(
I was saying the same thing about Makoto all throughout SFV. Full screen unreactable safe specials were everything in SFV. Scissor kick on bison, dash punch on balrog, e honda headbutt, blanka ball, near unreactable airborne command grabs on the donut guy (forgot his name), and akuma. Makoto definitely should've made SFV.
Too add into Dan, in World Tour there is a NPC in the Suval Hall Arena that dresses like Dan, and uses Dan’s exact moveset, his same fireballs, and even has his flying kicks, ALSO his sister appears in Battle Hub when there’s a crossover event going on

If they add Vega I would really love if there was an option to make him a Charge Character again. Even if it speeds him up it is just not Vega to me without being a complete Charge Character. Anyways, my Wishlist for SF6 in general is Dudley, Vega, Balrog, Cody, Remy, and Sakura for characters I've played before. Characters I'd love to try in SF6 would be Alex, Sodom, Makoto, Hugo, R. Mika, Q, and G.
I've noticed a trend that when they add a new character they add the music theme from the last game that fighter was in. Rashid, Ed, Akuma and then Aki got Fang's theme which she's based. The thing is some characters we know are never coming back like Balrog got their themes in some fighter passes too. But C Viper also had her theme put in. If C Viper was getting added they would have waited to put her theme into her own fighting pass. I think that's a good way of eliminating who will be in 6 or not
Urien or Makoto, Dudley or Viper, Alex or Gouken + New Character (Ryu or Sagat's apprentice?) are my list. Very varied designs, stories and playstyles in general.
Karin is the character I want most. Loved her since Alpha 3. She is my most favorite fictional character of all time. Would also love: Dudley. Akira. Menat. Sagat. Roxy. Poison. Hugo. Guy.
After going so long without the Emperor from 3rd Strike to 5, I was pleased with the tweak to Gill's moveset. Idc what season he comes back. Just gimme more Gill for SF6.
I honestly think Yun and Yang would be perfect for SF6 just with the aesthetic since they are going with an urban/graffiti style. It would also be a good business move by Capcom to give us a “2 for 1” type deal so it looks like they are giving us even more than season 1 for the same price.
Sagat is in (Can’t have SF without him). He’s my favorite. Ibuki is in, no brainer. Sakura is in. Balrog is in, come on. Vega is in. Honda will come. I personally would love to see Dudley, C. Viper, Gin, G
Abel, Vega, Balrog, Necro would be my dream dlc2. Although I understand it would be generally unpopular I think vega and balrog are two gameplay styles that are not currently represented. As for Abel I just like him, obviously manon is in the game and people would prefer Laura or makoto and I would be cool with that too. Necro is another selfish pick but I think he’s an extremely fun character with unique gameplay and lots of personality. He’d be a great weirdo pick and represent SF3’s quirkiness. Also I think his pressure into stun into giant combo could be incorporated into sf6’s mechanics in an interesting way. You could make his hurricane spins and electricity drain a lot of drive gauge and give him a down down K that’s his taunt from 3S and give it combo extension and damage buff on next hit confirm. Thus he could pressure you into corner, mix you up, burn you out then taunt and pull off a big cool combo and preserve his third strike game plan.
A hallmark of Street Fighter games is taking characters that previously only appeared in sprite animations and making them playable, so I expect that tradition to continue. The Shadaloo Dolls have alot of potential.
I feel mainless currently, so ill take any one of my old mains. Sakura, ibuki, or makoto. Ibuki would be my first choice. Would love to see urien, cody, kolin, c viper, and dudley though.
The only character that i want for season 2 is Falke and some redesign for her staff. But it seems her chance to comeback is very small. So, i just throw my prediction if season 2 DLC will be 4 characters: Claw, Dudley, Mika, and a new character. But i heard the rumor it will be 6 characters so: Claw, C Viper, Dudley, Mika, Sakura, and a new character.
we need to go after those last few must haves. we have the WW's, we have akuma, cammy. that means all we are missing is sakura which is a given and the 4 bosses. sagat plus 3 charge characters that we need(revert vega). makato wasnt in sf5 because her character type was oversaturated.
Currently, the game has no alpha or 3rd strike representation: if they go in order, I think season two will be “alpha heavy.” Season two for me is: Sakura,Rose, Guy, Karin and Gen. Fingers crossed 😂
As much as I love Sakura and Dan, I don't really want them releasing too many shotos all at once or too close to each other, honestly. Might be better to spread out their release window.
If the 1st season was primarily focused on V characters with Rashid, AKI (FANG), and Ed, it would be make sense to have a season focused on IV, especially if it has more than just 4 characters. I’d love to have mix and matched characters though

Fun list! I gotta chime in as a fanatic of G & Q. I half agree with you about the mystery, but while I don't think they should ever fully reveal Q's story, I don't think he should have limited appearances. I say this often, but every 1 question answered by Q should create 5 more mysteries. If you never move the needle forward, it'll get stale. I kind of look at him like Wolverine in the early days; having more revealed about his ties to Sabretooth, Deadpool, and just what Weapon X was after was cool. While they overdid the revelations, they didn't just stay stagnant with his past being a mystery, they teased stuff, revealed a bit and even threw some curveballs. Since games take so much longer than comics to get new installments, I think Q would be fine showing up more often in the roster.
I also agree that Viper should get another chance, she's pretty cool, has a lot of potential, and they love to use her in the story for SFV & SF6. I think Alex should be the first S2 character revealed to say "yes, we remember SF3 and we're not gonna leave them behind" cause it kinda sucks having the 1st post 3rd Strike game not having a single SF3 character present.

After season 1 I desperately want some characters who weren't in SF5. Viper, Necro, Sean, Gen, I'd happily take the oily man

I hope for Karin. I love Karin in Alpha 3 and was super excited when she was announced for SFV. Then SFV came out and was mostly a DLC store and only a game sometimes. I was so disappointed and I didn't play it very long. So I'd like her to have another chance in a much better, less off-putting game.
I also really want Q and that is never happening but I play Q.
I just want my girl Laura back, Poison & Sakura would be nice to have back as well.
dude big W for having dean on ur wishlist. i grew up playing final fight on the ps2 from a disc of capcom classics and my love for final fight just grew from there. i think dean would be a great newcomer for 6 but probably in the later seasons once the more popular characters get in.

I want Falke most, Twelve second most, and Sean third most.
First of all, Falke is really fun. Her negative edge mechanic was really cool, and I hope they keep that and don't rework her like SF4-SF5 Juri; however, I do wish they would make her other moves motion inputs instead of double kicks and double punches because those are quite annoying since I bind my controls in a way where I do OD moves with the triple kick/punch shortcuts so it's hard to do non-OD psycho schneide and all of that. Also, if they could make Ed super cool, I bet Falke would have an awesome redesign gameplay-wise and design-wise.
Next, Twelve. Twelve is probably one of the most unique characters in street fighter history. His air dash was really interesting and so was the wall bouncing. He also had absurd normals with cool animations and great range, and his specials were very interesting with the arm flail, ground spikes, and dive kick. I feel like he could be heavily expanded upon in SF6 with new moves and crazy stuff, and really, in 3rd strike, all he needed was more damage/combos. Also, he would probably look really crazy with SF6 graphics.
Finally, Sean. Sean was quite fun in 3rd strike with some really interesting mechanics, but he just didn't explore them very well. I feel like they could take a tiny bit of inspiration from Laura and give him the elbow hit grab perhaps along with his 3rd strike moves. His tatsu was really cool with the unique animation, and his flying overhead kick was also quite unique. On top of this, I feel like they could bring back his roll and make it unique, like maybe it has an overhead/low/grab mix-up out of it or something and avoids mids and highs.
Guys, please get these 3 into SF6! Or at least Falke or I would be sad :(

I was saying the same thing about Makoto all throughout SFV. Full screen unreactable safe specials were everything in SFV. Scissor kick on bison, dash punch on balrog, e honda headbutt, blanka ball, near unreactable airborne command grabs on the donut guy (forgot his name), and akuma. Makoto definitely should've made SFV.

If they add Vega I would really love if there was an option to make him a Charge Character again. Even if it speeds him up it is just not Vega to me without being a complete Charge Character.
Anyways, my Wishlist for SF6 in general is Dudley, Vega, Balrog, Cody, Remy, and Sakura for characters I've played before. Characters I'd love to try in SF6 would be Alex, Sodom, Makoto, Hugo, R. Mika, Q, and G.
I've noticed a trend that when they add a new character they add the music theme from the last game that fighter was in. Rashid, Ed, Akuma and then Aki got Fang's theme which she's based. The thing is some characters we know are never coming back like Balrog got their themes in some fighter passes too. But C Viper also had her theme put in. If C Viper was getting added they would have waited to put her theme into her own fighting pass. I think that's a good way of eliminating who will be in 6 or not
A remade Sean would be dope as well. He fits the vibe of SF6. Make him a mix of jiu jitsu and Shoto.

I honestly think Yun and Yang would be perfect for SF6 just with the aesthetic since they are going with an urban/graffiti style. It would also be a good business move by Capcom to give us a “2 for 1” type deal so it looks like they are giving us even more than season 1 for the same price.
Sagat is in (Can’t have SF without him). He’s my favorite. Ibuki is in, no brainer. Sakura is in. Balrog is in, come on. Vega is in. Honda will come.

Abel, Vega, Balrog, Necro would be my dream dlc2. Although I understand it would be generally unpopular I think vega and balrog are two gameplay styles that are not currently represented. As for Abel I just like him, obviously manon is in the game and people would prefer Laura or makoto and I would be cool with that too.
Necro is another selfish pick but I think he’s an extremely fun character with unique gameplay and lots of personality. He’d be a great weirdo pick and represent SF3’s quirkiness. Also I think his pressure into stun into giant combo could be incorporated into sf6’s mechanics in an interesting way. You could make his hurricane spins and electricity drain a lot of drive gauge and give him a down down K that’s his taunt from 3S and give it combo extension and damage buff on next hit confirm. Thus he could pressure you into corner, mix you up, burn you out then taunt and pull off a big cool combo and preserve his third strike game plan.

A hallmark of Street Fighter games is taking characters that previously only appeared in sprite animations and making them playable, so I expect that tradition to continue. The Shadaloo Dolls have alot of potential.

odds are they want to keep the momentum, so they will try to pick characters they know atleast a large group of people will want.
The only character that i want for season 2 is Falke and some redesign for her staff. But it seems her chance to comeback is very small. So, i just throw my prediction if season 2 DLC will be 4 characters: Claw, Dudley, Mika, and a new character. But i heard the rumor it will be 6 characters so: Claw, C Viper, Dudley, Mika, Sakura, and a new character.
we need to go after those last few must haves. we have the WW's, we have akuma, cammy. that means all we are missing is sakura which is a given and the 4 bosses. sagat plus 3 charge characters that we need(revert vega). makato wasnt in sf5 because her character type was oversaturated.

If the 1st season was primarily focused on V characters with Rashid, AKI (FANG), and Ed, it would be make sense to have a season focused on IV, especially if it has more than just 4 characters. I’d love to have mix and matched characters though
