  • Crow Practice guides you through a sequence of yoga poses that will help you take flight. It's not about the yoga pose but how you get there! Stretch out, warm up and connect to the deeper muscles that will lift you up and guide you to fly in Bakasana. Check out the Foundations of Crow Practice for full Bakasana tutorial.
This practice is a great one to repeat! Work to be present each time you arrive back on your mat and watch both your awareness and the asanas grow!
    Namaste.

Every time I have tried Crow Pose in my practices with Adrienne, I've been unable to do Crows Pose. For some weird reason, out of nowhere, today I was able to do it - it was just for a second or two but I feel I am starting to make progress. Its like my body aligned itself and then did it. It has made me realise more and more that when we manifest what we want, set intentions and just try, we can eventually make something happen - even if we don't ever think we can!

It's funny, I used to really dislike, yoga practices with Crow in, but now I found I really enjoyed this practice. I've taken the pressure off of my self, of I must master this pose, to now I'm going to give it a go, and see where it takes me. And in doing that, I feel so much more positive about Crow, it's so funny. Thank you Adriene, for this beautiful yoga practice. It was just the stretch my body needed. I can't wait, for tomorrows yoga practice, see you there. Namaste. 🙏❤

I loved this practice. I nearly did a different practice today because my initial belief was that I'm not ready for crow pose. However, this taught me the beauty of giving things a go anyway, and accepting my body's current limits. Amazingly, today my attempt at crow felt right in my body, I got one foot off of the mat! 10.25 🧘🏿‍♂️ 25th day of PLAY!
Now today, I would usually be on my perfectionist mode saying that 'I need to get it in one go!' but today's practice, the crow, taught me alot about practicing and building my foundation. It'll take me some time to get there but as long as I work with it and don't take myself too seriously. I modified some of the poses well and it worked out greatly. The great thing is that I was very close to getting crow today! I wasn't up all the way but it was a jumping start. 🙏🏾

ATTRACT ⚡ | August 24, 2024 | The longer I practice the more convinced I am that crow starts as much in the brain as it does in the muscles of the body. This is a wonderfully strengthening practice for the body to serve life off the mat just as much on it, and when it comes to the crow pose at the end, it's all about putting those puzzle pieces together. Overthink it, and it won't work. It's remembering that everything is connected and to trust. It's a practice for sure! 🙏

My progress with crow is apparent to me because of how I approach it in practice. I am not so hard on myself when I “don’t get it” because it’s all an exploration. Playtime! The more I play and explore, the more I seem to “get it” and realize that there is even more to uncover! Such is life. Yoga is so beautiful. It is all about balance. ☯️
See you tomorrow, namaste 🙏🏼 ❤

@@yogawithadriene I've been following your 30 days of yoga practice (which has totally got me hooked on yoga!) and have been practicing crow for the last week. I really thought I was not strong enough yet but after reading your comment that it's about awareness more than about strength, I thought: let's give it 1 more shot today. And suddenly, I was able to hold it for 4 seconds!!! Thank you so much for all the inspiration you keep giving me, every day of my yoga journey.

I'm still doing yoga with Adriene every morning, now day 54 in a row, and I keep on feeling healthier, stronger, happier every day! Thank you Adriene for your reassurance and support. I am trying but I am struggling, but will not give up that easily, I will persevere and hopeful before I quit this earth, I will achieve the crow practice. It is rather funny because of my little flab on my belly, each time I get to child pose, trying to get my head on the mat my butt rises up in the the air, either I can have my butt down or my head, ha! ha! ha! Even this will eventually pan out I believe you honey❤️ and try, try till I succeed with your gentle cajoling. Much Love and thankfulness❤️Namaste🧘🏽‍♂️

I do not have too much flab but I know that issue. It has improved for me. At first, I coukd not breathe very well in child's pose. I found doing extended child's pose was a good way to approach, and thenover time, slowly decreased how far apart my knees were. Now I am doing chikd's pose each time with Adriene. Not always perfectly, but I can stay with it.

While lying afterward in shavasana, I heard "CAW! CAW! CAW!" I went to the window and saw two crows fly past, their sounds fading into the distance.
I just laughed. What a funny coincidence. I'll take it as inspiration.

I'm doing the June 2021 calendar and this practice reminded of the YWA upper body strength video, which was basically "Wanna have strong arms?....Do a ton of push ups." This crow video felt like "Want a strong body? Do a ton of planks."
However the thorough warm up did work because in crow I was able to keep my toes off the ground for a couple seconds and felt stable and strong doing it. I found that one good crow pose zapped my strength so I spent the rest of the time sending my weight forward, but keeping my toes on the ground.
