I guess the real question is (if you buy a "healthy/inspected" 4.3 @£25k, then do a bunch of upgrades, eg Clutch, Suspension, Brakes, exhaust etc.. is it worth the effort and extra outlay?
what about the version in between : vantage (not S) 2009/2010 that has 4.7 L engine, new interior and few upgrades but with sportshift I? let's say a n420 vs vantage s/n430. subscribed, thanks!
Consider also what you want from the car. For me, 'the look' was a big driver. And, while I considered higher priced options, I landed on a lightly modified, clutch-changed 2007 V8V @50k miles. I know I have another clutch and suspension in my future but totally worth it. $35k spent and no regrets.
Interest rates of 0.01%! Buy the S and help the economy!! 🏴🏴
Seriously considering one of the 4.3 Vantages, but I'm aiming for the £30k bracket. Only an hour away from you guys as well so maybe will end up bringing it to you!
The 25k cars do look appealing
Definitely a V8VS if reachable.
new question of the week: shall I buy a 2011 DBS or a V12 Vantage for about the same money ?
Can you make a video on the wishbone arms?
What is it about the wishbones?
Are they a weak link?
Vantage S for 45k or early 4.3 for 20k in the bank? I went for V12 S for 75k! Time will tell if it was the correct choice but if I got a V8 I would have kicked myself for not getting the V12! Oh what a drama 😬🤨
only ever buy a manual anything
never ever ever buy robotised anything
Do BR do pre-purchase inspections?
Yes we do!
