Forget the book on coins, you need one on bottle tops and get onto the council for some wages for tidying up the beach. You can tell modern coins by the state of rusting, they probably only last a year or less on the beach 😅😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 your right mate, i used to be a bin man for the council and even on the recycling bin days we didnt have this many bottle tops, however some very exciting finds on the next detecting through history video. Atb brother
@@andyoutdoors4350 Yes and mostly it is a good excuse to get out, and the anticipation of finding something rare or gold and then finding out a bit about it like you do. If I were a bin man I would be coming home with tons of stuff but they probably stop you doing that now, I remember cages under the bin wagons were the binmen used to stash useful stuff, but then again I remember the metal bins with the metal or thick rubber lids, we still have one and it is pretty heavy on it's own.
