The most beautiful looking car ever imo
Gorgeous car.
Why wasn't this car sold in a premier auction? Tis a mystery to me.
Thought the same…🤷🏼♂️
It was never for sale just a stunt to get more viewers on you tube
Interested bidders will find these cars wherever they are being sold. Prices of all classic AMs are falling due to an influx of RHD cars being repatriated to the UK from what is believed to be at least one large collector abroad, now deceased. Add the rapidly cooling investment potential (a historically high BoE interest rate of 5.25% compared with sub 1% from Mar 2008 to Mar 2022) and all you have left are the enthusiasts with hard cash to spend who want to buy to drive and enjoy, rather than those borrowing to invest - and there is a lot less of them. In a falling market, the respective fees charged by the different auction houses also come into the equation, and could be the case here.
Wtf such a classic sold in the company of guys who never bought anything better than a flood damaged corsa
Awww poor baby😢
It didn't sell. If you listen it didn't reach reserve
At 380,000 pound this was a bargin wonder how much was needed to it Put it in storage re-sell it in 18 months for £500 K
'Put it in storage re-sell it in 18 months for £500 K' more like sell it for £250k in 18 months the way things are going with classic prices.
3:30 Something well off with its suspension as it drove out the door, bushings, mounts suspect? It was wobbling like jelly.
worse, when they lift the body mould to reveal an old ford anglia;
front end look off all right; remember Britain was still recovering from the war: I've seen RR of this era and too much pot metal with contaminants eroding the zinc casting, etc.
Anyone who can afford that, can afford to repair it.
@@user-io2et5bv2sIt looked very nice on the surface but I'm sure the need for repair work was reflected in the sub market final price. People who spend in that league have prospective purchases looked over by experts and bid accordingly.
I don’t think someone paying 500k is going to worry about the suspension 😂😂
Classic cars in trouble, this would have made £ 600k 2 years ago.
It was a provisional bid at £380K. It may well have not sold. Could’ve had a reserve way north of that bid to be honest….
Someones going to make avery nice profit .......a very nice profit indeed !
That seems really odd ? Would it have been scrutinised more by a Premier auction house, technical specifications and service history etc ? This car if sold by the likes of Bonhams would be news around the world and therefore attracting the big bids but also more investigations, No, if you wanted to make a small splash in a big pool this is where you would sell it.
Idiots complaining about the quality of this Auction should pay more attention to this outfit, there has been many such bargains passed through there and the internet bidders do not discriminate.
It was never for sale just a stunt to get more viewers
Did it sell?
Something wrong with that car being sold at that gaff
Can't for mylife see why this car is doing here
60's suspension, 60's rattles and carburettors with Lucas electrics, plus it is pretty ugly compared to a ferrari at the time, £30k and I would still be nervous that i should have bought something else.....
£4248 new 64.
Wrong auction for that
Worth twice that
If it was nice
my sounds off; did they list or announce the kilometres??
Things are changing in the classic car market. It might well have made twice as much, but not now.
@@user-ov4mk9ox8yI think it was a British car so doesn’t have kilometres.
Ever heard of internet bidding?
i like made in England ✌️✌️🇬🇧🇬🇧🚗🚗
That was me on the internet at 300k. I’m currently in the Algarve. Kicking myself for not going higher. This was cheap even though it needed a fair bit of work.
Smelllit from here…..
Liar
If I was that guy driving that car I would have went home for lunch 😅
Everything in life is on loan
Thats a very cheap car worth minimum 600k
Still not worth it, you would be disappointed if you drove it. Fine for posing, or for shallow people, investment, possibly, but a fine GT these are not. I know I have had several Astons
Seems there`s about 95% plebs in the room without a pot to piss in.
