I think Aliyah did the right thing by leaving her mother after she threatened her. But the way Aliyah mentioned how her mother is a Gemini makes me feel sad, because I am also a Gemini, and my behavior is somewhat similar to Aliyah’s mother’s temper, and it makes me feel really sorry to hear how Aliyah was treated.
not everyone have a place to go to like you, its not that simple, some of us have to suffer and find a way out by ourselves with out anyone's help, you are just lucky that someone cares about you and welcome you in their house
Poor girl she seems so sweet I want to give her a big hug I honestly don't understand how parents can treat their kids like that like if you're going to treat your kids bad don't have kids at all that simple
I feel so sorry for the narrator, Aliyah. Her mother clearly has psychological violent anger issues and is verbally abusive that should’ve been diagnosed and treated much earlier. Aliyah’s mother clearly had the audacity to tell Aliyah to leave and never return and clearly asked how Aliyah was doing, but I think Aliyah’s mother doesn’t care at all & just wants to use Aliyah as a verbal punching bag. There is a wise old, saying: cruel adults don’t deserve to be parents, but children deserve to have loving, warm & caring parents. Aliyah, if you’re reading this comment right now, I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I wish you the very best of what lies ahead for you in life! You deserve it!
@@seanagulan9481 Also, did you see how satisfied the boyfriend was when the mom said those awful threatening words to her daughter?! I mean what an a**h*le!!
I think Aliyah should place a restraining order on her mother and her boyfriend, in case they attempt to do something serious, like kidnapped her or something like that.
Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry for you I can’t believe your mother would do that to you. No child should have any abuse from their parents or siblings. Speak up and get help it’ll make a difference
This reminds me of the story, where a girl’s dad was either drunk or neglecting her, and drunkenly yelling at her mom and sister. These types of stories always make me so sad. But it’s still a little nice to hear them.
I can somewhat relate to this story because my mom had bipolar disorder and she would yell out of nowhere and also become aggressive with objects. I sometimes had to hide in my room/lock the door, or even escape the house with friends for safety. If my mom and I got into arguments I had to become the adult and break the argument. I would also have to call 911 to get my mom into mental hospitals at times. What deeply hurts is I went through this from the ages of 12-18 but she passed away when I was 14. My grandma also passed aways when I was 14 a month and a half before my mom in the middle of covid. Up to this day I’m still traumatized, luckily my dad has always been there for me. I’m almost 19 and I feel like I grew up faster than what I wanted to.
My crush is going through some really bad shit with her family too. If she ever gets to the point of having to leave, I’d happily do everything I can to convince my mom to let her stay with us.
Same my parents can flip at the change of a dime always making threats for no reason and screaming for no reason and shaming for nothing and sometimes even slapping
This reminds me of when I got kicked out by my mother which happened two months ago and I have to live with my best friend and even tho I am struggling I am happy I’m not in an abusive environment anymore
I've been through that situation before, it's rough and I know it's scary, but just remember that there are those who care about you and if your mom chooses to keep hurting you like she did, that's her own fault for pushing you away. live your own life away from hers and do the things you love. you are loved and you are a survivor.
i hate how certain parents blame their kids for them to actually be a parental figure if you didn’t want to pay bills or to work why did you ever have kids tbh
I'm glad you're back storybooth! Thank you for animating real stories by real people that we can relate to, I too had to escape a toxic mother and it's the best thing I did for myself. I hope everyone with not so good family relationships has an amazing holiday; also the "she has a victim complex she's a Gemini" is hilarious 😂
Honestly, I’m glad it worked out for her, but running away is never the answer. Sometimes the best thing to do is try and fine the best way to fix things and make them right. That’s fact
I’m glad you made the right choice enough with your mother. Now you have your auntie she’s a better mother than her. Let’s see her ex-husband will not be happy to his wife. Her boyfriend try to calm her down it’s not right to yell. People has no reason.
Dear child, you are a brave soul, I want you to remember to keep your head up, be the total opposite as she was with you. I'm a total stranger but you are loved and you are brave, god bless you. It's okay to share your feelings, no one expects or should expect you to be fine after the abused you suffered. Stay strong. Hugs.
I have a mother who emotionally abused me too, especially when her and my dad were having problems in their marriage and he moved out for a while. That’s why i’m glad i have my brother who got me out of the house when necessary and my neighbors would offer me to stay over at their place.
This poor girl had every right to leave her mother. Her mum was toxic and abusive. Also, the cheek of the mother to ask how she's doing? You literally abused her.
I can only predict having to deal with his crazy girlfriend alone, receiving the same treatment Aliyah experience but worse. He would try to get trip her to come back and be their little lightening rod, but she would refuse each time and suggest breaking up with her, which would be a bad idea breaking up with an unstable woman like that witch. Who she attempted to kill when he would him talking to her daughter, accusing him of conspiring with her daughter against him like everybody else had.
It happens to me from my dad from my childhood and to my late teen hood, that was until now he pass from cancer which is now im glad he’s gone for good
In 2023, I was in my senior year of high school. I wanted to be a photographer after high school, but my mom always disapproved of this. It grew to a point where me and her argued because 1. She never gave me the space I needed to do work stress-free and 2. She’s unsupportive of my photography goals. She ended up kicking me out of the house, attacked me, when I was still 17 years old btw. I walked to my school for help, and some did but they sent out the principal to assist me. Worst idea ever. Not only she’s a bad, but she has a history of everyone HATING her, including the teachers and RESOURCE OFFICERS (LAW ENFORCEMENT). My principal called my mom up to the school, sided with her because I was “arguing back to my mom who’s a higher authoritative” and proceeded to tell me that I wouldn’t be successful as a photographer WHILE I WAS TAKING PICTURES OF A FOOTBALL GAME THE SAME NIGHT THIS ALL TOOK PLACE. I wasn’t able to take photos of the game because of both my principal and mom
My mom did this too. She is manipulative and narcissistic, and also possilby has bpd. I stay away from her now as well and live w my dad. its pretty sad tho because i still miss her and how she was when i was a child
I know exactly how she feels. My mother treated me so badly, and she turned me to a negative person. Cause she's having that trauma and anger. And she yelled at me and make up stories. And mostly she's hanging out with these negative. People who don't have a future and she don't have the future. She likes to make up stories and lies and play gambling game. She's a real gambler. She's not true Christian. My mother hates 3 of us. She said she wishes she doesn't have children. That is her wish not really hurt my feelings. She is toxic and negative a lot. Not because I'm i'm going to tell everybody about the truth about her and our friends about this. i can't always hold in my grudge and hide my feelings inside. I had to lay out. I let out and tell people the truth. I've got to tell everybody about the truth, what she did to me.
I was in the exact same situation regarding my own mother a few years ago; growing up, I knew my mom was a Sagittarius, but I always had a feeling she also had a narcissistic victim-complex where she believes she can never do any wrong. My mom has kicked me out 3 times in my life: first during my sophomore year of high school, then during Covid, and finally in 2021. After my mom kicked me out the 3rd time, I texted one of my uncles and one of my older cousins for help. I stayed with them until I moved in with my dad and stepmom and my younger siblings. I found a job nearby, and have been working at said job for over 3 years now. I’m currently still living with my folks until I have enough money saved up for an apartment close by to my family.
I deal with this unfortunately with my dad so i can understand what the girl is going through it isn't easy when your parent expects much or plays victim constantly
I can honestly relate to this story on so many levels as I had to deal with the exact same thing except it was with my step dad I had to deal with so many years but when I had the courage to finally move out this summer it was the best decision of my life, now I'm much happier and safer without such a monster in my life.

This girl had every right to leave her mother. She was being mistreated poorly and mentally abused even close to physical violence by one threat alone. I know her role as a mom isn't easy. (I'm not a mom myself) But I do know that whatshe was doing was wrong. If that woman were in front of me I would tell her- You seriously need help. If you are having mental problems go see a therapist. >:(
I'm thankful this girl took action and left her toxic mother. :)
I'm so proud of her for getting out, and doing what she needs for herself.
I'm a Gemini too but a zodiac sign doesn't determine somebody's personality. That's dumb.
Agree. My sign is Leo ♌
not everyone have a place to go to like you, its not that simple, some of us have to suffer and find a way out by ourselves with out anyone's help, you are just lucky that someone cares about you and welcome you in their house
Especially some don't want to go to family members they don't like and they don't want to be a foster home
I’m not even 20 seconds in and I already find this video SUPER relatable ❤️
Yep, let’s get away from that MOMster!
this story isn’t funny.
@@vlogswfayalt It may not be a funny story, but this pun is certainly satisfying to look at.
Yes, and her rotten boyfriend, saying to her that, “Your mother needs you…” She rightfully moved away to her aunt.
ba bum tssss
@@seanagulan9481 Also, did you see how satisfied the boyfriend was when the mom said those awful threatening words to her daughter?! I mean what an a**h*le!!
I think Aliyah should place a restraining order on her mother and her boyfriend, in case they attempt to do something serious, like kidnapped her or something like that.
This so sad but so relatable since I'm dealing with a t*xic mother. I'll pray for you.💗
This is the definition of 'Every child deserves parent's but not every Parent's deserves children' . !
1:14 The ‘Gemini’ comment angered me a bit. The stars don’t determine anyone’s personality.
I think she was being sarcastic
true also @BraylonRockmore maybe she believes in Zodiac Signs, no way to tell for sure though
I agree I’m a Gemini and I try to be fair about everything I about commented Whoa don’t pull the Gemini card
then dont have a mini comment hissy fit if you don’t think they matter trithium.
never said it didn’t matter?
SOOO EXCITED TO SEE THE Story
Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry for you I can’t believe your mother would do that to you. No child should have any abuse from their parents or siblings. Speak up and get help it’ll make a difference
"if you wanna leave, leave. But never come back" DONT THREATEN ME WITH A GOOD TIME 😍😍😍🎀🎀🎀
Obviously, she's too blind to see how that would be good for her daughter.
Mom's boyfriend is the worst.
For a sec, I thought the boyfriend was fine until right after, and quite literally, the halfway point of the vid
Glad she’s safe, imagine what would’ve happened if she stayed. That was a good call.
You made a typo,
which was imagine.
@ oh thanks
I’am happy she is safe and living with her aunt that’s good she’s safe
She should regain custody of the cats, they don’t belong with the horrible mother
1:47 i wasn't expecting that 0_0
Great story. Loads of kids and teens need to watch this
This reminds me of the story, where a girl’s dad was either drunk or neglecting her, and drunkenly yelling at her mom and sister. These types of stories always make me so sad. But it’s still a little nice to hear them.
I am going through the same situation with my mom right now and this video gives me hope for the future.
Woah. I‘m sorry. I hope your okay now❤️
My crush is going through some really bad shit with her family too. If she ever gets to the point of having to leave, I’d happily do everything I can to convince my mom to let her stay with us.
Who asked
Dude I got this within 35 mins, I’m so glad storybooth is active again
Oh dear! I can’t believe this happened to her. I hope that she is doing much better now
Same my parents can flip at the change of a dime always making threats for no reason and screaming for no reason and shaming for nothing and sometimes even slapping
This video really touched my soul, because I completely understand exactly where you're coming from, since I have been through that myself.
TYSM for for sharing your story
i hate how certain parents blame their kids for them to actually be a parental figure if you didn’t want to pay bills or to work why did you ever have kids tbh
Yea to be honest I agree:)
Like I just can’t believe if she will yell at her for no reason
SHE DIDNT TAKE THE CATS???
LITERALLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!! POOR BABIES 😭
I Would Take Them With Me.
I hope your mother feels better.
I feel so bad for that girl, who knows if she'll work things out with her mom.
I’m glad that you left your mom for good
Dear child, you are a brave soul, I want you to remember to keep your head up, be the total opposite as she was with you. I'm a total stranger but you are loved and you are brave, god bless you. It's okay to share your feelings, no one expects or should expect you to be fine after the abused you suffered. Stay strong. Hugs.
I love that you guys still post! I remember watching you when I was in 6th grade! ❤
Glad she's safe 😢
I have a mother who emotionally abused me too, especially when her and my dad were having problems in their marriage and he moved out for a while. That’s why i’m glad i have my brother who got me out of the house when necessary and my neighbors would offer me to stay over at their place.
This story has never been so relatable
What a horrible mother....some parents are just so reckless and evil.
Great to see Storybooth posting again.. 🥹👍
Struggle with the same problem😢
Some parents don’t deserve kids.
I'm Sorry That Happened To You.
How did it end? Are you ok today?
Poor Aliyah. She's such a sweet girl. She doesn't deserve this horrible mistreatment.
I'm sorry I have a mother that is similar and she is so unfair. I hope your doing well right now. ❤
“she’s a freaking gemini” love her for that statement
I deal with this unfortunately with my dad so i can understand what the girl is going through it isn't easy when your parent expects much or plays victim constantly
This woman reminds me of my grandma with her victim complex.
I can honestly relate to this story on so many levels as I had to deal with the exact same thing except it was with my step dad I had to deal with so many years but when I had the courage to finally move out this summer it was the best decision of my life, now I'm much happier and safer without such a monster in my life.
Oh thank goodness you guys are back missed ya
Praying Aliyah is doing better.
