    So if I set up a vending machine on a corner, can I list it as a "Convenience Store"

    Those so called "locksmith" boxes are terrible and misrepresenting the extent of their capabilities!
    On more than one occasion I've needed key duplications. Those boxes are extremely limited to a small selection of base keys! They do waste our time and cause frustration.
    Your local locksmith can literally save a life. Those boxes are stealing business from our much appreciated locals amd communities!
    Thanks for bringing this to light.

      Depends on the keyway permissions. If it's a generally available keyway, a local locksmith shop should be able to do that for you. If it's not, call Assa and find the closest locksmith that has access to the keyway.

    • @LocksmithRecommended
      @LocksmithRecommended  2 года назад +1

      Exactly. Need to have a locksmith onsite to list as a locksmith. Well, that's the written policy anyway.

      They do! Every machine has it's own phone number. They all lead to a single national call center.

      I hope not. In my area, a google pay per click ad runs $30 per click. Mostly only price gougers use them because they are the only ones that can afford them. 😕

    As a fellow locksmith who’s been in the industry for 7 years and my boss for 30+ years, this is one of the most frustrating parts of Google.
    Same thing for us, Keyme popped up in the listings and heavily skewed who shows up in your search results. In my area that we live the ones who paid Google to be ‘verified’ are the price gougers who will typically charge you 3x the typical rate for a service.
    Google doesn’t care about small business, only the ones who line their pockets with more and more money.

      Are you saying that the subcontractors they pawn the work out to are just paying for the lead? My understanding is they actually get paid by KeyMe to do the job.
