I just bought one today. A 2007 model with 89000km. In about 2 weeks I'll be able to collect it. I even get a full 3 year warrenty on the car. So in about 3 years I'll get rid off it :). I bought it to spare my 1988 Citroën AX GT. I kinda have a thing for small cars even with my 1.95m. Funny thing, the AX feels like a much more solid car even if it's 20 years older and built as light as possible. But for the 5000km I do in a year, the Fiat will be totally fine (I hope)
I have one like this.
And went with it in any terrain and it's unstoppable.
We are talking for a car built in 2006 and we are in 2021, it work just fine.
Exactly this, Fiat Seicento, just fine!
I grew up in a 600 (Seicento mk2/facelift), it was red with the 1.1 Fire engine
It was with us from 2007 all the way to 2017.. we went on vacation with it, tackled snow.. It was unstoppable
Thank you for the video man ❤️ I am a bit of a Fiat fanboy, i own a Punto myself 🙈
Glad you liked it, the Seicento really won me over, it's so freaking CUTE!
Fiat's are cool indeed, such weird little machines. When i find one i will make a video on a Punto.
This brings me straight back to the NFS Most Wanted 2005 days, just starting out with a Punto!
Enjoy your ride!
@@David-zv2ob In Nfs there was the Grande Punto but yeah, almost the same as mine.. a bit heavier 🙈 Mine is from 2001, a mk2 model
The seicento is amazing honestly, here at the moment you can buy one in very good condition even for 400 € They are cheap, reliable and fun little cars.. very unsafe but hey, you only live once 😅
@@coraz98 Nice, mk2 looks better anyway!
When i eventually buy my first car i'll definetly consider the Seicento, funny little things.
Incredibly unsafe, the owner of this one tells people always that you need to use the other car's crumple zone, because the Seicento doesn't know what that is, a crumple zone. xD
Anyway, enjoy the mk2 Punto!
I bought my first car today: yes the seicento!
Seicento fans unite! Enjoy your ride!
@@David-zv2ob thx🙃
My wife had one, it was a great small car, very reliable, comfortable and economic to drive.
I didn't expect the vast love many people feel for this small nugget of a car
@@David-zv2ob Italian cars are made to be loved from the smallest ones to the biggest ones.
I’m not sure why I like these tiny things so much but I do….. it’s between this and a Daewoo matiz or a perodua kelisa…. Look them up 🤣
Never heard of the kelisa, looks like quite a fun little machine. Matiz is a cool bubble as well :)
I bought a 2003 1.1 In dark red with 61k miles. As a car too use for a short while. I still have it and am now replacing broken trim en putting nice wheels on it.
Great choice, I really like the dark red ones!
Godver!
Lol super comment
It was my first car and it is still running in my fleet to this day it has been utterly reliable and just fun. Mine was also rare, it is right hand drive (RHD).
Woah, I didn't even know there were RHD Seicentos! Funny thing is, it doesn't even matter, you sit pretty much in the middle of the road since tha car is so small!
@@David-zv2ob I was on a 3h drive and a big 44t truck was behind me, the car was half the width of it and a wheel on the truck was taller than the car
That is slightly terrifying to be honest, but also cool, really cool!
@David
We have (or _had)_ *a lot* of Seicentos in the UK - every example I ever saw was right hand drive.
Not exclusively LHD like the Renault Twingo mk1 or Fiat Barchetta.
I'm guessing yours is either an SX or Citymatic judging by the electric windows and no "Abarth"/sports styling?
You have the much better version of the Seicento (what I call the more youthfully _spirited_ one), as opposed to the later (round Fiat badge) model with a more pretentious advertising campaign.
I'd buy one if I could - not exactly _modify_ it by "mutilating" the car - but rather, *_fit_* components that would improve collision safety, such as an "invisible" cage (somehow) that would absorb more impact energy, maybe "fit" seatbelts/harness points that don't detract from the appearance or alter the chassis/fittings, yet make the car be safer to sit in.
Just - whatever can be done to preserve these fun little cars.
I wonder if such forums exist?
@@letsdiscussitoversometea8479 Don't worry if it exists there is a forum filled with weird fans! This seicento, although not mine, is a lovely one!
So far I’ve seen 3 little blue cars. Are you thinking what I am thinking?
Hell yeah! Drag race!!
Exactly^^
Fricking weirdo's talking to themselves... But yes, drag race
Zajebisty film xD
I have a Seicento but with no equipment. I have nothing but a steering wheel, wheels, gas and xD brake. My ToiToi has LPG, so that's a plus. Regards from Poland xddd
I have one too black S trim i feel like black seicento are rare
If they are not rare, they are definitely cool!
@@David-zv2ob my One Is 2001 has been replaced his original Engine and now his second Engine Is starting to show his problems and needs to have a complete restoration cause we bought this Engine on a junkyard the sad thing Is the speedometer no longer works After we repaired the sensor 3 months ago, mechanic said Is probably some electrical problem on the Dash still looking forward for fixing It :)
Don't knock the Seicento. They are a superb motorcar.
Then I strongly suggest you DON'T watch the 'Everything wrong with the seicento' video
Great car! Have a 1999.
And they age like fine wine
The video pov fiat seicento
Test drive this car
Don't you worry, i did! Detailed driving video coming soon!
@@David-zv2ob ok thanks its mu favorite car
Seicentos really do have a little cult following. So many people who grew up in these and now love them!
But... first there will be a "Everything WRONG with the Seicento" video... So brace yourself!
98' het het rijdt, dat kan je wel kwaliteit noemen voor dat geld. De kwaliteit dat je voor je geld krijgt overtreft een tesla zeker weten.
Kijk, daar heb je gelijk in!
i'm about to buy one lol
Great choice, enjoy your Seicento when you get it!
Do not, just look at the crash test for this one
we have a blub fiat seicento and my name is david we do off roading in it
This is one of the coolest comments I ever got xD
Is the seicento offroadable?
@@David-zv2ob yes
@@David-zv2ob thank you
