you know this movie is something even the rock scenes made you cried
The silent scenes made me cry the hardest. I love this film
I teared up at the rock scenes & then couldn’t help but giggle at the bizarreness of it all. The film had me feeling manic but in a good way 🥲
My favorite line from the rock scene was “shhhh” 😂
@@nativeofvenus cry laughing is the best emotion
there was something in my eye
not crying
Laughed hard. Cried harder. Incredible film.
No, it was tedious and dragged on forever.
@Luis Cayetano I see you left replies to several comments on this video. So the movie clearly impacted you emotionally, even if the only emotion to come out was anger. If it was truly tedious and boring, you wouldnt care enough to spend your time this way.
@@jaesynn2015 Wrong. I just find it annoying that people call this type of hyped crap a "masterpiece". Same with "The Batman".
@@VectorOfKnowledge did you actually see the movie?? They way you are talking I doubt you did…I went into this movie with no expectations and left extremely satisfied.
@@VapelifeX I saw the movie last night and I politely sat through all five hours of it. I didn't even sigh. I was rewarded with that by feeling extremely uncomfortable, disoriented, annoyed and frustrated that I had to endure that. So yes, I saw it. It was derivative crap.
"They're soulmates"
You can really feel that in the film. The Daniels are incredible and I cant wait to see more of their art and ideas come to life. This is the most beautiful, hilarious, heartbreaking, philosophical film I've seen in a long time. It truly is Everything
They made a film back in 2016 called Swiss Army Man, in my opinion, that movie is as top tier as this movie, and that movie tackles a completely different topic while still having the same humor this movie had
I think Michelle described this film perfectly. The content is so weird, random, and outragous but the feelings are sincere and real. It's been awhile since i've cried in a theater and near the end of the film (along with some other people) i was sobbing.
Watched this movie in an airplane on shitty speakers and screen and still hit me, I too cried at the end
the movie made me cry so hard and this featurette broke me all over again
Honestly same!!
It made me cry as well: in discomfort and frustration.
Yup. I have a roomate I disliked. This movie made me go out and buy her a present.
This movie meant so much to me. As a single parent of three LGBTQ children, and coming from a deeply religious, conservative background, the experience was something I don't know that I can put into words. I feel like my own personal struggle was acknowledged by the universe. I laughed heartily, and then cried so hard I needed the entire credits to compose myself. And even then, as the music faded out, the audio included a chorus repeating "I love you" over and over. It was a more rewarding experience than I have ever had watching a film. It was more than I dared to hope for. The Oscar would honestly be irrelevant to me. This is my favorite movie of all time.
Thank you for sharing. That was beautiful ❤️
The power of story telling! Thank you for sharing your experience. ❤️
How tf do you have three LGBTQ children. What is in the water over there
@Eddie Avinashi From an evolutionary perspective any LGBT+ stuff is highly disadvantageous, so it is most likely not genetic (although there might be genetic components which predispose someone towards such tendencies). My guess is that it is partially prenatal hormonal exposure (for the sexuality) and a belief into essentialist gender stereotypes (+ cult-tactics) for all the rest.
It’s interesting to see the scientific side of people who are LGBT. But there won’t be any research done because people are concrete about the idea that people are “born this way”. If scientists does conduct a research in the future. They will be labeled bigots and homophobes. We don’t know what causes it. What’s the brain pattern of the people. Does it contribute to having high suicidal tendencies. And many more. We won’t know because people are very adamant.
Ke Huy Quan in this… god I love that dude. I hope he’s given more chances to work after this, he was phenomenal. What he said at the end of this made me unreasonably happy.
Saw the film because it looked crazy. Came out of it with a warm feeling that doesn't come from a lot of movies I see nowadays. Loved it
I was relieved to be out of the movie theater. Most tedious film I've ever watched.
Cant believe some people walked out the theatre i was in, this movie is a masterpiece.
That's hilarious
Yeah, but in another universe they stayed for the whole film. And in another universe they didn’t even show up to begin with. And in yet another universe you walked out!
I couldn't believe that some people said you could only watch this movie high. Bro this movie was so good no amount of drug could make me feel more alive.
It’s not for everyone but it is indeed a very special film
I can certainly see it being a little much for some people, especially the all of the flashing lights, but it really is a fantastic movie
Beautifully made film. Loved every minute
lol! Are you serious?
@@VectorOfKnowledge where did they touch you??
@@VectorOfKnowledge …….. what do you think man
@@connorbullock1669 It was tedious and derivative.
@@VectorOfKnowledge do you really have nothing better to do with your life than to reply to every single comment with negativity?? clearly most people loved the movie because it was so unique and incredibly thought out. I'm sorry that you have no taste in movies but take ur negativity somewhere else😂😂
Watching this as a filmmaker myself…it’s the most insanely brilliant and impossibly well made movies I’ve ever seen…the idea is as complex as a story can be and yet I was able to follow it
There will never be another movie like this. The best thing ever committed to film.
OMG, just...no. FFS, LOL!!!!!
@Blia Yang Hey!
@Blia Yang List of what?
@Blia Yang Oh, that's easy:
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)
Alien (1979)
Aliens (1986)
The Mission (1986)
Cry Freedom (1987)
Glory (1989)
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Gettysburg (1993)
Jurassic Park (1993)
Hereditary (2018)
@Blia Yang Current movies mostly suck, but I would still say that most of them are better than this movie.
This movie better win best picture next year at any of the award shows! It’s been a while since a movie has made me happy cry.
We made it ✨
The single greatest film I’ve ever seen. What a masterpiece
😮😮😮
I cried 3 times in this film. What a journey and what a story. The world needs more Daniels
This film was absolutely amazing. I didn't expect to walk out of the theater feeling very seen. It embodied how I felt and honestly how I still feel, but this one got to wrap up in a neater bow, something that I always hope for on the back burner.
Everyone going to watch this will be in for an experience.
It was amazing - amazingly boring and tedious.
@@VectorOfKnowledge i guess you're the most amazing person out there then
@@jcosabellano2854 I was talking about the tedious and boring movie (EEAAO).
@@VectorOfKnowledge Why don't you cry harder!!
This is the movie equivalent of taking an emotional shotgun blast to the chest. Hilarious. Sad. Ridiculous. Thought provoking. There really is no other movie like EEAAO
It was stupid and tedious.
@@VectorOfKnowledge you’re pathetic
This movie was like a rollercoaster ride, except in addition to swerving up and down, it also swerved left and right, forwards and backwards, and every other direction it could possibly swerve. It truly is one of the most ambitious movies ever made.
@@rapidreaders7741 Ambitious, but tiresome and boring.
@@VectorOfKnowledge objectively wrong
Every second of this film was amazing!
big fan of daniels! watched this movie when it came out, right away. It was amazing. every scene was perfect! so emotional too.... made me sort of feel like my life is all i've got. without past events or struggle, i wouldn't be alive.
I hope with this film you make all the money and take all the awards. An outstanding piece of cinema that I am grateful to have witnessed.
It was crap.
@@VectorOfKnowledge just saw your negativity didn't get any attention, sorry , here's some! X
@@10draperful Thanks!
I'll be honest this movie is probably the first movie where I've actually felt genuinely affected by what the movie has to say. Whether that means I haven't seen enough movies and that more movies would give this experience and/or that this is truly one of the greatest films of recent history I don't know. I DO know that whether I learn that there are much better movies out there or I don't find movies that can do much better, this movie is a good one at worst
Every time I'm about to lose my cool at my family or colleague, I just think back to the rock scene. Ultimately, it's all nothing. Why do I have to hold on to me being right? Doesn't help the work get done or improve anything. Instead, let's just be kind to each other. Ultimately, it's going to be okay so I don't have to be afraid of being wrong. Even if they do something I fear would bring us to ruin, all the moments of rejections and disappointments will lead up somewhere good in the end. So why worry and be mad~ In my office, I put up my EEAAO movie ticket to remind me every day. How it is so freeing that it's all okay and I can appreciate the little wonders in life~
“If the universe is as infinite as they say it is, then these weird things that are happening aren’t just possible, they are inevitable.” 🔴
Best movie of the decade full stop
It’s 2022...
@@assortedlunatics4381 your mom is 2022
It handled emotions perfectly, expecially the relationship between two people trying to find common ground in a world that would ultimately just equate to nothing, but holds onto love, pride, and most importantly family in a losing fight of worlds, sights, and their dreams.
One of the best films of 2022
word
I wish I could see this movie for the first time again
For someone who has taken a number of psychedelics this movie made me feel like I was tripping due to roller-coaster of emotions it put me through.
Same. Reminded me of the last time I tripped.
This is in my top 3 favorite movies of all time, it's perfect. Gonna buy all the 4k dvds.
Probably the best film of this decade.

@@VectorOfKnowledge What is then?
@@VectorOfKnowledge OK I get it, but what film then?

From Swiss Army Man to, quite possibly, and unanimously, one of the most incredible films ever made within the last several decades.

A magnum opus in its own right! One of the best movies of not only in 2022, but of this decade - if not of all time!
This movie was so good!! Thanks to all who made it.
Why would you have that opinion?
In a universe where instead of hot dogs we had all thumbs for fingers, this movie would get ten 👍. Amazing.
I think that the hot dog universe was the epitome of the concept tho! As absurd as that was, in that universe, even with hotdogs as fingers, kindness surpasses it all.
Honestly hands down MY favorite A24 film. Or favorite film of all!
i loved it so much. fantastic work.
As visually compelling as this story is, the soundtrack that accompanies really makes it for me.
This is one of those films you'll back on 10 years from now and say... "Yeah, that was a good time."
One of the BEST movies I have ever seen.
I have not loved a movie this much since The Matrix.
Best movie i have seen in my life.
lol, no. It was over-hyped crap. You just have terrible taste in movies.
The emphasis of kindness is SO good!
I'm not gay, I don't have children, I don't have a soulmate, yet I loved this movie with all my being.
This is as close to a perfect movie as I have ever seen. It has so many interpretations it can apply in so many situations. The character development is so well done silent rocks with text dialog keep the viewer's attention. You are so invested in the characters you're able to provide the emotional context from the characters missing from text communication. That in itself is a lesson on the importance of direct human connection outside of the virtual space. This is a once in a generation alignment of all the components from the first manifestation of the concept all the way to the final distribution cut that can't be predicted or planned.
An absolutely beautiful crazy insane movie
Loved the film. Incredible cinematography, great use of aspect ratio and color tone changes which is always somehow lacking in any multiverse movie. The acting and plot are great as well. Loved swiss army man and this one is even better.
Microdosed on acid, cried the whole time. Most beautiful movie ive ever seen
They are amazing! This film is amazing.
A must-see sight and sound spectacle with a beautiful story at the core. The story of all of us. What an experience. Thank you A24 and Daniels.

The Asian Daniel is the same guy from the "Turn Down for What" video.
That's right, Daniels conceptualised and directed the Turn Down for What video and Kwan also starred in it
Yes
The movie is life - sad, tragic, funny, exhausting, fantastic, scary and so on - there is literally Everything Everywhere All at once.

A most thought provoking enjoyable film.
Literally a masterpiece
Masterpiece!
It wasn't what was said or what happened. It was the emotional and philosophical genius portrayal of life and family that made my own deeply suppressed trauma gush out into tears
Such a great movie. Shouldn't work as well as it doed
