I am a poultry farmer and i am amazed to see the results they produced in such cages. Birds in these cages seems like are so conjusted but still they are able to produce such amzing results.
As for the stocking density, it is compliant with welfare regulations for standard commercial housing plus they are able to achieve better climate control.
Still over crowded as the grow up I would say . However I have no doubt they have far less many deaths which is good and would help to make up for the extra cost of running this system . Notice a few still have no feathers on there bottoms .

Sad state. Confined in one small place akin to a prison. Emphasis on mechanisation and production of animal for food consumption and forgetting the importance of wholesome healthy food. It surely isn’t worth consuming nor is this a symbol of civilisation. Sad indeed.

I wonder how you clean and disinfect those cages and conveyor belts knowing how high the cages stack up and look cramp and tight in many areas.
