Not gonna lie, I thought hold down the "power button for 10 seconds while unplugged" wasn't going to work, but it did. I'm usually skeptical of methods like this, but wow I'm glad I listened to you. Thanks!
Omg! Thanks a lot. My printer has not been used for a couple of months and when I tried to power it on, it doesn't work but when I tried to hold the power on button for 10 seconds and plugged the module back and hold it for 10 seconds again. I just made my printer back to function now. Appreciate your help man!
Dude! This totally worked! You're a life saver! I got as far as the ten second power button hold with it unplugged, plugged it back in and it worked!!! I literally thought I was going to have to buy a new printer! Thank you so much for this video!!!
I bought Epson because it would print directly on CDs and was affordable. Never had a problem for 3 years until a couple days ago and it is dead. I unplugged everything from the printer (3 cords), left the power cord plugged into an obviously live outlet and tested the end that hooks to the printer with 124 volts A.C. showing on my meter. Tried the 10 second, etc. trick and nothing. I'm wondering if the power surging off and on multiple times during recent storms is responsible even though I always turn it off when I'm not using it...maybe I forgot this time.
Thanks, it was the wall outlet issue. All printers say no power bars, but this Epson 7620 is the first one I have had that insisted. Now onto the next issue - only printing blue. Auto-cleaned print head a few times and blue & black are working well. This printer sat for 8 months - do people think replacing ink is worth the chance the printer head is not dried up or not working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.....the cleaning worked and it is printing really well now. Now if I can figure out what is up with my HP MFP-M277 dw. Worked fine, we moved across country, now it will not print, blank sheets no matter what I have tried. I had given up and went to get this Epson. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My epson L1800 turn head cleanning by itself after each turning on . Then after head cleanning finished , the printing display 2 flashing button simultanary
this did not work for my xp 15000. I can get the power button to light up for a few seconds but lcd panel never lights up... power button turns back off within 4 seconds... ive tried all of these tricks and nothing is working.

Are you crazy
I don't have a power brick, my powercord plugs directly into the wall. I figured this had to be a bunch of BS for 5 minutes
Thank you
