Thanks for uploading this movie it was one of my favs and felt it never really got the full recognition it deserved I remember being a pre teen watching it also a inspirational movie
Thanks for uploading the full movie, so that we could follow the whole story and have time to fall in love with Timmy and chear for him when he finally achieved what he wanted from the very beginning. I've watched a Million times and will continue watching because it's so good. Timmy encourages me when I start to doubt that EVERYTHING is possible. 👍
30:37 she kinda looks like a cross between Madonna and Julianna Margulies. 39:31 he was in the series Third Watch -- thought I recognized him! Except for the swearing, this was a really good movie. Thank you for the upload!
Do we get really get movies nowadays? As someone mentioned, beautiful emotions are removed from movies these days and its all just garbage and filth. Watching this old movie in 2024 and makes the whole experience worth it ❤

I know Wesley snipes would not be allowed to be the Hero who won and rides off into the sunset with the pretty girl. When you hurt someone, you are always uneasy when you see them again. You are always on the defensive - The native Americans Indians, my black ancestors. 😄😄😆
Wesley Snipes wasn’t a hero? Roland (Wesley) pulled himself away from his drug dealing ‘manager’, worked hard and made team USA. He was, from the start, the better boxer. He sacrificed his first chance at something big to save his coach’s girlfriend from a pair of thugs. He was every bit a hero as the other guy, if not more. You really, really missed the point of the movie if what you said was all you got from it.
@Dodge_Morningstar It has nothing to do with accolades. There are a lot of people who look at everything through a heavily polarized lens in this day and age, to the point where to them Roland could never be the hero because he was black, and no black man could ever succeed in America because white people. That is an extremely racist, and incorrect, view. As a kid, I took important lessons from this movie, from Roland and from Timmy. It didn't matter who was black or white, all that mattered was how they overcame their challenges. The fact I never submitted to peer pressure on ANY topic, let alone doing drugs, is partly due to Roland. Being able to step in front of bullies to protect others (and I mean physically step in between them), Roland's part of that to. Work hard and be tenacious, part of that came from Timmy and Roland. Swallow your pride and listen to people who have more skill...part of that came from Timmy. And, the most important lesson of all...there's room for both of us. Timmy and Roland, and the friendship and respect that developed between them, that's in there. There was no singular hero in this movie. The victory was a team effort, between Roland and Timmy.
@Dodge_Morningstar I get what you're saying, but there are some lines that I stand on on principle, and one of those things is people crying racism (no matter WHO they are) where none exists...especially about a movie that had such a truly anti-racist message. As for coming back to replies, I do that because I think it's only fair; someone took the time to say something to me, it would be rude not to respond. Part of the problem we have today is a lack of conversation...and while text is the shittiest form of communication between people (lacking facial expressions, tone of voice), it's still an opportunity to have one. Take care, and never be afraid to speak your mind.

There are a lot of people in the comments who missed the biggest message of the movie, blinded by modern identity politics. Sad.
