In a relationship, when things aren’t working you either work together to fix it or you actually tell them it’s not working and cut your losses. He never liked her, he wasn’t even man enough to pretend to be her bf, all that half-bf/half-gf nonsense. You could tell he wasn’t really into her at all. She was honest with him and it made him uncomfortable as he wasn’t able to reciprocate it, which is very noticeable when she leaves and his actions toward Maura and other girls are different.

The way Nicholas related after Courtney recoupled is telling of his time in casa amor, he realised what he needed to work on and what went wrong in his couple, man took it like a champ and stayed loyal. Whereas Courtney saw what she wanted to see and believed her own toxic lies... she defo didn't deserve him and knew she f'ked up

I really disliked Curtis. I saw his demeanor change towards Amy the moment he found out that he wasn't in the favourite couples. If you watch back, you can see that from then he is already plotting to get out of his relationship with Amy.

I think the saddest part is, from all her reactions when the camera isn't on her (and she doesn't have to maintain a professional face) you can see she really cares about the islanders and what they're going through. Her face when Amy walked away to go to Curtis, she was so conflicted to see the hurt play out. I think the show is missing its heart without her.
