Tears roll when Miss Kay speaks. I admire her more than any other woman in this century. God bless the Robertson’s and all the families they have together brought to the Lord.
Willie has been saying for years it was because of her the family stayed together. Phil could have been saved still but she was an amazing warrior.

Love this family, what a story of redemption, Jesus is real, no one person can change their nature by themselves without the holy spirit. For those that question this go in prayer and ask to be forgiven and saved and watch what happens, it's hard for us to grasp it's that easy or possible but it is.

The bit about the 'river rats' is one of the favourite testimonies that I've ever heard. - He humbly believed something that didn't seem to make sense, based on what he knew, but God honoured his obedience. May we all be obedient like this.

God has a reason for you to still be here. even if it is just to pass love around. we can all be the good seed that landed in the thorns. just don't stay there. take root, remain there and spread the seed of God and all his teachings and love. bless you young man

As a man and alcoholic and the farther of a 5 month old see that if Phil could do it gives me hope I could do it
the comedian you can brother, reach for God. He’ll never let you down. I was dying from alcoholism and I have a life now that just keeps getting better.

Love this man. He still feels guilty about his early years.. still till this day.. you can tell on the show.. he treats his wife amazing...
I was shocked to learn just how badly he acted in his early years. I read in more detail what he did in one of his books and it surprised me even more, but it also made me hopeful that people can truly change if they want to. They just have to put their faith in the right place, and that's in God's hands.
If I don’t drink tonight I will get my 24 hour chip from AA tomorrow.

God bless you phil!I as well was very very poor!!I had a great christian grandmother who sent me and my brother to a faith believing little church right across from my house !!That set my life for the future!Not to say i didnt have such hard times because i was away from the Lord for a time!But praise Jesus he brought me back out of the serving myself!!Now I serve the Lord!!

I watched this video on Phil's journey in finding God. It came to me how God willingly let His son die for me. For each and everyone one of us if we are willing to. God surely could have prevented that from happening. I feel good with God in my heart.

Gosh, that was truly something. I started crying and I thank you all for bringing me to tears. You guys and your family' provide me laughter and hope each week; and I thank you again for it. Jesus has been in my life for about 25 years, he doesn't leave me for a second; even when I stumble. I really had trouble figuring out what you were doing when you publicly speaking in favour of Mr. Trump. That hurt me, but I realized that we are all fragile beings, prone towards mistakes or miscalculations. We all have opinions, mine may not align with yours when it comes to politics, but I have many friends who I have come to understand that I do not have to agree with everything they do in order to respect and love them; nor they with me. Goodness comes in different sizes, colour, and shapes and words. Please keep doin' what your doin' and your goodness always shines through. Thank you for doin' it!

It is good to repent of behaviors that are damaging to us or to our loved ones. When the preacher told Phil, to start being "good", that is not the message of the gospel. The message of the gospel is about repenting from unbelief and turning to faith in Jesus. Placing your faith in his life, suffering, death and resurrection as the way to the Father. Our behaviors will never measure up to God's perfection, that is why Jesus lived a sinless life for us. I have listened to Phil speak at other times and he has a mixture of religion and Nationalism. Our behaviors is not the main issue. A lost person can be "good" and still perish. A "bad" person can repent to faith in Jesus and still be a child of God.
