Hearing the sounds of normal city/suburb life (cars driving, birds chirping, people talking in the distance) at the start when there's nobody around is so unsettling tbh
If it is so then it should be called The Backyards 😂 real but still uncanny open worlds but with nowhere to go and no one to help. A dark parallel parody of The Backrooms.
As a person who once lived in a suburbia like that, I can tell this is the best and most realistic found footage or level 11 ever made. At 2:40 and kinda earlier you can hear the sounds of an uknown entity, that I think is active at the nighttime. Also the way the buildings started to morph in a wave is sick! Its amazing that you mentioned here that lvl 11 is an endless city that expands itself. Also from the morphing moment you can hear echo of the morphing/expanding sound, that can mean the city is expanding all the time. You perfectly expressed the term 'endless city'. Great job gal got new sub!
This one was great, but I think it missed a lot of opportunities to be truly uncanny - small details like the buildings having no doors, looking inside the windows to see empty rooms or distorted furniture, street signs where the street names are jumbled and nonsensical or in alien characters, sounds of children playing or music that seem to be just around the corner but which you can never find; all kinds of things that hint that this world was created by *something* which had an idea of what it was working with, but got it all just wrong enough to raise the hair on the back of your neck. I would have loved to see the character explore things like this, because I certainly would have wanted to take a closer look.
Those are some good ideas! They remind a lot of some AI art that has been created. Where from a distance it looks nice and real, but when you zoom in, the pictures start to make no sense at all. The details are are all messed up and nonsensical. It makes me think that the backrooms might be AI or alien generated impersonations of human civilization! very interesting.
There’s a lot to summarize about how creepy this was. The uncomprehending feeling of being alone, in a vast but endless city, or an almost infinite but finite city, it was scary. The fear of being alone, no one around you, it’d be more exhilarating to hear that you aren’t alone than that you are in a infinite or limited space, a giant city where no one is around, and especially in the endless parking lot. It was quite more star-striking and eerie when he was alone in the dark in that weird parking lot. From about 1:04 and on, an oddly weird echo would buildup and stop when the light turned red again. And each echo, according to my calculations, would be spreaded among an infinite number, because if the guy echoed around these giant buildings it’d rebound off of that, and if there were infinite amounts of these structures (even though his echo would eventually fade from his surroundings) it’d still fly at the same volume throughout time.
i like how you expanded the level 11 to be kind of an infinite city that morphs and grow by itself. would've wished to see entities; in the sense that, level 11 entities do not present the behavior of the ones in every other level. there, they act more like npcs than anything. guess the twist of level 11 becoming this gigantic thing and it's uncertainty haunting the mc really gives the chills and i appreciate you for that! loved it

I found this whole back room thing yesterday, I’ve been consumed by it. The scariest thing for me, is thinking there’s a vast nothingness of magnetically constructed mazes that have absolutely no life in them whatsoever. So crows, and in other videos monsters, distract from that. It’s hard to make that entertaining, but it’s such a brilliant concept. Just being stuck in a world without any life at all. As a landscape photographer I’ve been freaked out by being alone in woods, etc. Even with the crows though, this video plays on that. Really cool.
The ending was very good, felt like the beginning of a infinite adventure with no escape idk why I said that like it would be nice, but I would like to be trapped with horrors forever like that lol
2:57 it's a good thing he remembered to pick up the camera. In all of the found footage I've ever seen where they lose the camera, if that even happens, it's not until the end of the video. Excellent work, this really captures the sense of being unsettled and curious, and then the creeping realisation that survival is the name of the game with no idea what's out there. This in a VR game format would be just terrifying and fantastic, if it can capture the true duality of the ambiguous fear in a familiar setting.
really like the architechture and layout of everything and it's super cool that you used so many environments pretty well, i'm just not a huge fan of constantly needing to be running away from some kind of monster or whatever our mc was afraid of, areas around the middle of the video definitely lose their eerieness because of that this was a really good job and genuinely unsettling despite the pacing!!!!!!!!!!! work more on the ambience and you have something that can seriously rival Kane Pixels' original work!!!
Real nice ideas in this video. Especially liked the wave motion of the whole city block. My only nit-pick would be that the shake effect on the camera was a bit too strong than it was needed. Other than that, good job

This convinces me that the Earth and the entire universe in the Backrooms lore is a simulation, and the Backrooms are basically the tile sets used by the developers to copy paste textures and models to create our world. Of all the Backrooms theories out there, the idea of the Frontrooms being a simulation is the most accurate to me.
To be honest, it looks like one of those chinese cities with lots of massive skyscrapers, but are empty to artificially drive up the prices of houses. Maybe this is level is sued by big corporate agencies in the real world to rtifically drive up the prices of housing for backrooms lore.
It's the little details that make these so good. The traffic lights cycling away through their signaling process to no traffic at all is incredibly eerie!
I like to imagine in interpretations of The Backrooms like this - where it seems that our POV character cannot die - that the creatures in the spaces know that humans can’t die there. So, instead of trying to kill you outright, they prefer to immobilize you in extremely painful ways, rendering you mute and just cognizant enough to suffer.
“Welcome. Welcome to City 17. You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining urban centers. In the lore within my mind for Backrooms, the mold creature steals real-world items and places them within the confines of its own world that then act as "totems" which allow the mold creature to further generate rooms. It also has the power to move its dimensional "noclip" areas at will.

No way they actually used the elevator sound effects from FNaTI: The End of Disney. Overall, some scenes made me u comfortable. Like I was actually there. Great work!
Hi Ruster, great work, got the chills, thank you! I'm always checking out the sound design, and this is what I thought: The first scene is a bit overdesigend acoustically. There's no way there's such an echo on an open street with ∞ buildings. The echo should rather be very subtle with no feedback at all. The delay time should be much longer and, if you're down for it, appear irregularly depending on the distance of the buildings. So one echo should come very shortly after the noise (reflection from 1st building), the second one should come after that and already much more silent until it even disappears, if there's any echo at all. Also important: put a low cut on the echos, echos don't have bass amount in it. Same goes for 2:40. If it's meant to be an entity moaning, you will have to turn down the dry signal and make it more wet so it appears coming from the distance. If it should be nearer, reduce the echo und turn up the dry signal. And again: put a low cut on the audio. Bass does not expand in the outside world. In a building it's the other way around, you surely noticed: If you're outside of a club, the walls are banging and you can just hear bass amounts, barely any percussion or melodies. When you're entering the room, the middle and high frequencies are added. Sorry for the sound engineering course lol, but sound design is what makes the difference for me in the end. Keep up!
Ended up being a bit blander than the concept for this level is, but you did some neat abstract things with this. The carpark scenes were pretty good, especially when he was running from something we couldn't see but definitely could hear.
Like who ever yells "Hello! Anyone there?!" and such when they find themselves in places like these. Having worked in big buildings with lots of empty corridors and passages, during night time where most people are gone I wouldn't dare breathe too loud lest I summon the beings from a parallel dimension lol. That irrational fear never gets old.
Very well crafted, kudos! Atmospheric, love that it is outside for a change, gives it a whole new feel. Very creative, lots of details. Outstanding piec of work.
Here is a context:"the uncategorized buildings of ambient, the long last buildings of a watching fluorescent building.one of the building have extended bodies and one have intermittently entities during(convicted night) all named above and under are cacool which is intermediate entity it runs fast and complete amplifier entity which is prohibited to walking and highlights of wanderer"
I feel like these empty city backrooms should have some kind of natural disaster apocalypse that can happen in them randomly. While no one else but you is around.
The ending is the best part. The elevator door opening towards the outside of the building, yet you enter the building, makes no physical sense at all yet can be missed entirely. So uncanny.

great work, got the chills, thank you! I'm always checking out the sound design, and this is what I thought:
The first scene is a bit overdesigend acoustically.
Keep up!
At 0:29 seconds you can see someone looking from on top of the building.... Sussy easter egg
Around the 0:22 mark, it almost sounds like Bart Simpson saying “Ay Caramba!”
*Possibly An Easter Egg*
Level 11 tip : find a restaurant named “snackrooms” which will lead you to level 6.1 “The Snackrooms”
Ended up being a bit blander than the concept for this level is, but you did some neat abstract things with this. The carpark scenes were pretty good, especially when he was running from something we couldn't see but definitely could hear.
Man, im 45 seconds into and this man alerted every entity on this level
Like who ever yells "Hello! Anyone there?!" and such when they find themselves in places like these. Having worked in big buildings with lots of empty corridors and passages, during night time where most people are gone I wouldn't dare breathe too loud lest I summon the beings from a parallel dimension lol. That irrational fear never gets old.
Someone found a camera from a deadly dimension of an alternative universe and my dad still can't find the 2 dollar milk at walmart.
this is one of the best backrooms videos i've seen so far. keep up the good work bruv
1:40 It looks like that place in Yaroslavl (Russia) where the road service has put 18 traffic lights
This world design is weirdly satisfying.
this is so cool!!! the beginning feels like a gmod map, and I love the whole progression of the video, awesome sound design too!
Great video! I love the atmosphere of this level.
4:41 there is an easter egg :)
François Truffaut
You're one of the very few that know what makes the Backrooms so eerie and dreadful as a concept. Keep up the great work.
Very well crafted, kudos! Atmospheric, love that it is outside for a change, gives it a whole new feel. Very creative, lots of details. Outstanding piec of work.
As the doors opened, I realized that this could’ve ended no other way. Great ending.
Everyone In the backrooms got some sturdy bones 👀
wow this is really well done.
This is how NYC felt like during Covid in its peak... it was awesome
That was a solid "bruh" moment at the end when seeing the yellow rooms
4:33 flamboyant illusion?
I really want to see a movie made on the backrooms, like found footage put together. I bet it would do quite well.
2:05 how tf did a bird enter the backrooms
Probably bc of an open portal somewhere. Or either that, or the birds had made a nesting ground on the lights above.
Yeah, or maybe they’re entities themselves
@@Ophanim-11 I was just gonna say that👍🏿
Ah yes, "ELEVATOR". I hear that store has very high-end merchandise for low-end prices!
... I'll see myself out.
I miss when my feed in RUclips had a bunch of back room’s found footage I hope it becomes popular again
Damn is so good. We need more outside backrooms videos.
why u like this shit?
Did bro use the AUGH SOUND EFFECT at 2:50
Is smiler *rader* IS SMILER HERE RUN!!!
I’ve heard this being used for the goat man mod in Minecraft. Idk.
01:35 ps1 games aesthetics
Here is a context:"the uncategorized buildings of ambient, the long last buildings of a watching fluorescent building.one of the building have extended bodies and one have intermittently entities during(convicted night) all named above and under are cacool which is intermediate entity it runs fast and complete amplifier entity which is prohibited to walking and highlights of wanderer"
I feel like these empty city backrooms should have some kind of natural disaster apocalypse that can happen in them randomly. While no one else but you is around.
night time would be horrifying
There should really be a backrooms movie with actors and stuff.
Minecraft cities be like:
The ending is the best part. The elevator door opening towards the outside of the building, yet you enter the building, makes no physical sense at all yet can be missed entirely. So uncanny.
My days! That elevator is totally in one of my recurring dreams!!
Everyone who grew up in a post-socialist country: "Hey this looks like my neighborhood"

4:50 The guy is like, “ah fuck, not again!”
Level 11 has been changed a bit. There are now people living in the endless city and there is even a radio station as well.
