The big idea with this update supposedly was to "simplify" various systems, for the sake of newer players, although those individual systems were already easy to understand. Each time a new season starts, I keep seeing complaints that show how many seem to think the only ways to increase their CP is to level up, and improve their gear, so they keep ignoring boss rush, and other such things, while griping that they're still only around 35k CP, but have been playing for years. Not grasping how important doing those activities was one of the big issues for many, not how supposedly complex they were. Also having too many different systems creates content bloat, causing the game to keep demanding more of our time. Part of the appeal of BDM, over BDO, was how BDM was more casual, while BDO demanded you to no-life play it, well, BDM keeps moving away from being more casual as more content types are added, while still expecting us to do all the older stuff too. Then all my boss stamps, and other such things, have been used up for me, oh joy, so I have next to none of them left, and can't even complete a single related daily bounty. At least give us a nice initial supply of them, and add more ways to get knots, especially considering how mandatory they are now. I get that the new daily event is meant to help, but it for instance only gives 3k ancient tablets, while I need to spend 5k for a daily bounty. I ended up having to go to the "lucky shop" to get more of some of the various passes. Then we have to level up through all the boss rushes again, one level at a time, yeah, fun... This has to be the absolute worst update I've ever seen for BDM, and may convince me to quit.
This update was the final straw for me. After 4 years I quit and deleted the app. Every update lately has been designed to hurt ftp and to push whales to spend more money. It has become less fun and more of a chore.
