I've got the blue version of this guitar and it's a dream to play and such high build quality for the price it's unreal. And it looks fantastic, in fact I do have it hung on the wall in the living room. Gretsch are so underated or dismissed as rockabilly guitars whereas in reality they're so versatile and can play any genre.
frankly what a hell of a sound. all the videos you make make me want to buy the stuff you use. I love the sound in your videos it's really amazing, it's guitar is really amazing
Had a 6122jr, same size, probably was as light BUT...neck heavy if you play standing up with a strap! Moved strap lock to neck heel from double cut which helped a tad but I'm noticing you're never allowing the guitar to hang on the strap without supporting it...so how neck-heavy IS IT?
I want one these guitars. I’d pay it all day long. But I didn’t like the fact that you forgot a major person who used to play a guitar very similar to this one in Malcolm Young.
I just can’t get past the neck-heaviness of these. Even using a thick, sticky leather strap, it slowly dives toward the ground if you move around at all. Every single one I’ve tried did this. My wrist ends up hurting because I’m constantly having to curl it under the neck as the headstock dives. I understand that people want light guitars. But I wish they made some that weren’t chambered, so they were better balanced. I also understand other people aren’t bothered by severe neck-heaviness like I am. I don’t get it.
I wish i loved my job as much as Dagan.
I wish I could play half as well as him.

I agree I need one, Wil @thecross
Do you have trouble keeping it in tune with the bigsby?
Stretch the spring on Bigby I'd did stays tuned, but I check tuning after every song, all the best
I have the Fairlane Blue. Love it. Never thought I'd afford a Gretsch. Enjoy.
New videos from Dagan are always pure joy!

Amazing Review - Your enthusiasm is infectious throughout!
I love that you played some heavy rock on it . While most demos. play just clean or jazz on it
Ordered this little beauty can’t wait for it to arrive my favourite brand
I was just looking at this guitar and you came out with a video about it! CRAZY
Man that sounds sooooooo good
Very good review - red sounds best 🙂 And you look like a real rock star.
gorgeous looking guitar
This dude is the newer Phil x. Taking the fretted Americana concept and continuing with it. Just less dirty jokes
Significantly less full of himself, too.
Nice Demo
Love that guitar!
Great demo. Wish I could go to drop d and back that quick!
